Though they split up last year, actress Bridget Moynahan and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady are expecting a baby together, Moynahan's rep confirmed to PEOPLE.

The pregnancy was first reported by the New York Post columnist Liz Smith. Moynahan, 35, who is over three months pregnant, is said to be "healthy and excited," the paper reports.

This will be the first child for both Moynahan and Brady. A rep for the New England Patriots had no comment.

The actress, a former model who starred in the ABC drama Six Degrees, and the Patriots star quarterback, ended their three-year relationship at the end of last year.

Since then, Brady, 29, has been romancing Brazilian-born supermodel Gisele Bundchen, 26. The new couple, who a source told PEOPLE started dating just before Christmas, are in Paris over the weekend.

The pair caught the Academie du Spectacle Equestrian horse show at Versailles on Saturday before having dinner at the Cafι de la Paix, reportedly Bundchen's favorite restaurant in the City of Light .

Selma Blair has a new guy in her life: Matthew Felker, the model-actor who kisses Britney Spears in her "Toxic" video, the actress tells PEOPLE.

Blair, who went solo at the Marc Jacobs fashion show in London on Friday, said at the event that she left her boyfriend in good hands.

"He's at home watching my dog," Blair said with a laugh. "I'm just here for the show. I just got here and I'm going home tomorrow. I'll see him then."

Blair, 34, says she met the 27-year-old Felker, whom the actress decribes as a writer, "through friends," though she's "not really sure" of the time frame.

One thing is for sure: Blair won't be debuting her romance with Felker at Sunday's Oscars parties. "I'll be sitting at home with my boyfriend watching it," Blair said. "I've gone every year to the Vanity Fair party but I've taken some time off acting, so I think it's time to take time off from showing up at acting events."

Blair, best known for her role in Cruel Intentions, finalized her divorce from husband of two years, Ahmet Zappa, last December.

A second wrongful death lawsuit has been filed against R&B singer Brandy stemming from her fatal car accident in December, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

It was filed on behalf of two boys whose mother, Awatef Aboudihaj, was killed in the freeway crash that police say was triggered by Brandy in Los Angeles on Dec. 30.

Paul Philips, an attorney for the boys, Mrwan Mohamed, 14, and Kareem Mohamed, 10, said they are suing for an undisclosed amount, "but this is a priceless case to these kids who've lost their mother. These boys don't even quite understand their loss yet."

Brandy's rep previously said in a statement: "The accident was a terrible tragedy and Brandy's heart goes out to Aboudihaj's family."

The L.A. City Attorney's office is still deciding whether to formally charge the singer, whose full name is Brandy Norwood, with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, which was recommended by investigators on the case.

If charged and convicted, Brandy, 28, faces up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine.

On Jan. 30, Aboudihaj's parents, who reside in Morocco, filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against Brandy, claiming that she was "driving recklessly."

Kim Kardashian filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Vivid Entertainment over the distribution of a sex tape she made with her former boyfriend, R&B singer Willie "Ray J" Norwood.

Kardashian, 26, a pal of Paris Hilton and daughter of O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian, is asking for unspecified damages, attorney fees and all profits from the sale of the tape, according to the L.A. Superior Court lawsuit.

"This tape, which was made three years ago, and was meant to be something private between myself and my then-boyfriend is extremely hurtful not only to me, but to my family as well," Kardashian said in a statement to PEOPLE. "I am filing legal charges against the company who is distributing this tape since it is being sold completely without my permission or consent."

The video was made during Kardashian's three-year relationship with Ray J, 26, which ended in 2005. Ray J, the brother of singer Brandy, is not named as a defendant, nor is he a plaintiff in the suit.

Vivid Entertainment, a major producer of adult films, said it had purchased the sex tape for $1 million from a third party but did not identify the person or entity. The video will be released in stores and on the Internet Feb. 28.

"We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video, despite what others may say," says Vivid cochairman Steven Hirsch. "We have been around for 20 years and if we didn't feel comfortable putting it out, we wouldn't. We would like Kim and Ray J to be a part of it and hopefully we can work that out."

She made it through the first round of cuts on Thursday's Idol, but Point Pleasant, N.J., native Antonella Barba has another hurdle to overcome. Scandalous photos of the 20-year-old have been leaked on the Web. Though some of them are relatively innocent, others are far more salacious. (Since we're a family publication, we're not posting these photos ourselves – but they're not difficult to find with a quick Google search.).

Ironically, best friend Amanda Coluccio, who auditioned with Barba and was cut during Hollywood week, tells PEOPLE in its new issue that Barba will "represent New Jersey in a classy way."

The question is: Could this photo scandal disqualify the doe-eyed college student from the competition a la season 2 finalist Frenchie Davis, who was ousted after topless photos of her emerged on a porn Web site? FOX declined to comment on the matter.

Last year's stalled Sharon Stone vehicle Basic Instinct 2 ran into a brick wall on Oscar eve, with the failed follow-up to the 1992 original named worst picture by the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation.

The group, dispensing its 27th annual Razzies, also named Stone worst actress of 2006, and "honored" the movie for worst screenplay and as worst prequel or sequel.

In a strictly casual ceremony Saturday night at Hollywood's Ivar Theater, within spitting distance of the Kodak Theatre (home to the Oscars), the Wayans Brothers' comedic misstep, Little Man, won three Razzies, including worst screen couple for Shawn and Marlon Wayans.

M. Night Shyamalan was named worst director and worst supporting actor for his attempted thriller Lady in the Water.

Carmen Electra took the worst supporting actress prize for her role in Scary Movie 4, while Robin Williams inaugurated a new category: worst excuse for family entertainment.

That distinction went to the veteran comedian's vehicle RV, which Razzies creator John Wilson termed "a road apple of a road movie."

Kevin Federline visited his estranged wife, Britney Spears, in rehab on Friday, PEOPLE has learned.

Spears, 25, is currently being treated at Promises in Malibu. A source familiar with the situation says Federline, 28, has been involved in her stay there. "He cares a lot about her," the source said.

Federline stopped by the facility on Friday and stayed about an hour and a half.

On Thursday, Spears's father, Jamie Spears, 54, told FOX News from his home in Louisiana that his daughter is "a sick little girl. ... We're just trying to take care of her."

He added that his daughter's problems are "not about what other people think" and that he and Spears's mom, Lynne, are "concerned about our daughter."

However, reports that Spears is on "suicide watch" are false, her manager Larry Rudolph told Extra on Friday.

"The story is absolutely untrue. She is in rehab, and it is very disappointing that various media outlets are running these false stories about her, as Britney tries to get better," Rudolph said.

Meanwhile, Federline is anxious about his wife's condition – and about the couple's two sons.

"Britney scared everyone pretty bad. Kevin is worried that's for sure," a source close to Federline tells PEOPLE. "Kevin just wants her to be OK. He loves her, so however she can get better is just what we'll have to accept. [They] will make it work with the kids – it's all still for them."

One person who agrees that Federline has Spears's best interests at heart is her childhood friend and first husband, Jason Alexander, whom the pop star wed in Las Vegas in 2004 (their marriage was annulled 55 hours later).

Federline is "a good dude," Alexander, 25, told PEOPLE on Tuesday, the day before Spears checked out of the Promises rehab center after a one-day stay. "I know he takes care of those kids."

Alexander, who in November called Federline "an idiot," now thinks Spears's estranged husband "just got caught up and manipulated," he says. "Maybe getting Kevin out of her life wasn't the best thing for her."

Ellen DeGeneres may have told PEOPLE she was "not at all" nervous about hosting the Oscars, but when the big night rolled around, she tearfully admitted Monday, she was "scared to death."

On her talk show's post-Oscar special, DeGeneres played her video diary from Sunday night, which wrapped up with stars from Beyoncι Knowles to Kate Winslet praising her job as host.

After the montage, a teary DeGeneres told her cheering audience, "I'm crying for many reasons. I'm tired, so I'm emotional ... [but hosting the Oscars] represented so many things to me. It represented that people believed in me, they took a chance in me to hold something like that together, that people would want to see me."

She went on to say that hosting the show "was hard. It was harder than I thought and I was scared to death. I didn't know how I would do. ... You know, you have confidence at the same time as you have insecurities."

Although reviews of her performance have been mixed so far, DeGeneres said, "It was an incredible experience."

Victoria Beckham is in talks to appear in her own reality TV show, sources close to the former Posh Spice have confirmed to PEOPLE.

"No decision has been made yet but it will be coming very soon," says the source, who is close to Victoria and her husband, soccer star David Beckham.

Though the details of the program have not been finalized, the source says Victoria is discussing starring in a primetime show about her life and work on NBC.

NBC had no comment when reached by PEOPLE.

According to the source close to Victoria, the show, rumors of which have been circulating for weeks, "is more about Victoria and her work rather than her children or husband. David is busy with his team in Spain and ongoing work on his soccer academy."

The program would primarily revolve around Victoria's fashion business, DVBStyle and her impending move to America with her husband and children.

"It's not going to be like The Osbournes," adds the source. "But everyone will be pretty amazed at the TV show. It will be so different."

Both Victoria, 32, and husband David, 31, are heavily involved in launching their respective careers in the U.S this year. The couple is expected to move from their home in Madrid to Los Angeles in mid-July – with sons Brooklyn, 7, Romeo, 4 and Cruz, 2 – prior to David hitting the soccer field for the L.A. Galaxy team. (Beckham's five-year team contract with the team was announced in January.)

Although Victoria is more commonly known for her silent pout than comedy routines, a family friend insists viewers will be stunned by her non-Posh personality.

"She has a fantastic sense of humor," says the friend. "It is pretty dry, she isn't into practical jokes but what most people probably don't realize is that Victoria laughs at herself and doesn't take herself seriously."

Nick Cannon has been touched by an angel – Victoria's Secret Angel Selita Ebanks, that is.

"Selita's amazing," the Roll Bounce star told PEOPLE at the Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday. "She changed me – I'm no longer a player. She changed everything."

Cannon, 26, and Ebanks, 24 (and a PEOPLE.com video diarist!), met "a while back," Ebanks says, but a source close to Cannon says things only heated up between them in late January, when they ran into each other at a Super Bowl pre-party in Miami.

Though Ebanks jokes that she had to "clean up" Cannon's act, he's "made me the happiest I've ever been," she told PEOPLE at the launch of the Secret Embrace bra in New York City on Wednesday.

Still, she's quick to clear up rumors that they got married in a quickie Las Vegas ceremony last month.

"I'm not married," she said. "We're just two young people and we're happy. I laugh a lot and he laughs a lot and I think that's what's important. I support him and he supports me."

He may soon be able to offer support in the form of acting advice: Ebanks is in talks to star in the HBO comedy pilot Whitney, about a clique of female friends in Miami.

Despite a recent story in the New York Daily News that their marriage was in trouble, Chris Rock and wife Malaak are fine, they tell PEOPLE in an exclusive statement.

"Though we have tried in the past to take the high road and not comment on the tabloid media, we find it necessary to express on record how unfortunate it is that the Daily News, specifically, and other tabloid outlets have chosen to print untrue rumors and lies about our family and marriage," the comic, 42, and his wife, 37, said in a statement.

"It is extremely hurtful to us, our children, and our extended family. We remain, as always, very happy and committed to our marriage and the beautiful family that we have built."

In November, TMZ.com reported that Rock had begun divorce proceedings. And on Thursday, the Daily News claimed that some sources were saying Rock's upcoming movie, I Think I Love My Wife, hit close to home: In it, Rock plays a married man tempted by a beautiful woman (Ray star Kerry Washington).

Rock's rep told the paper, "Everything is fine at home for the Rocks."

Rock and the former Malaak Compton wed on Nov. 23, 1996. They have two daughters: Lola Simone, 4, and Zahra Savannah, 2. The family appeared on Wednesday's episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, and Rock told Winfrey: "Now that I have children, I realize taking care of my children is more fun than anything in the whole world."

The couple met in 1994 when Rock and two friends crashed a New York City awards show. "She's changed me," Rock told Ebony in 1997. "She's really calmed me down and centered my life."

Malaak Rock is founder and executive director of styleWORKS, a non-profit organization that provides grooming services and image consulting for women moving from welfare to work. She was previously manager of special events and celebrity relations for UNICEF.

Brooke Shields is reaching out to Britney Spears, who is currently in rehab.

"I hope she's fine," Shields, 41, tells TV's Access Hollywood in an interview to air Monday. "I believe she's going to be fine, and she just needs the support and her kids. She's their only mom, and she'll earn that back in her own mind."

Shields, who suffered postpartum depression after the birth of her first child, says that if Spears – mom to Sean Preston, 18 months, and Jayden James, 6 months – is suffering from the condition as some have speculated, "then it really needs to be reckoned with, and it's very common, and she'll get through it."

Shields, the mother of two daughters, Rowan, 3, and 10-month-old Grier, wrote the book Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression detailing her experience and how she overcame it.

"If [Britney] is reading my book," Shields adds, "I hope it's helping her. If it's not, and she wants to talk to someone, I'm available."

Shields, who like Spears has been a public figure since she was a child, says the constant pressure of being in the media spotlight may have contributed to the singer's trouble. "[She is] followed every moment of her life, and she's documented every minute of her life."

Nicole Richie was briefly hospitalized for dehydration Friday after falling ill while filming The Simple Life.

Gwyneth Paltrow says she and her fellow celeb moms often get together for what are surely the world's most stylish play dates.

"I have friends like Stella McCartney or Madonna, and very often our children get together to play," Paltrow, 34, tells Spanish Vogue. "Although usually we leave them in bed and stay to drink a glass of wine."

The actress and husband Chris Martin are parents to Apple, who turns 3 in May, and 11-month-old Moses.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, 6, and are in the process of adopting David, 17 months; and McCartney and husband Alasdhair Willis have a son, Miller, 2, and a 3-month-old daughter, Bailey.

Paltrow took the last few years off of making movies to focus on raising her kids, and recently called being a housewife "amazing."

And she still has a sense of awe when it comes to her children. "When I look at my daughter's skin, it's the most beautiful and perfect in the world," she tells the magazine.

"You lose that with age, of course. But as you grow older you gain character, wisdom and beauty in your soul. A mature woman knows herself, and that is sexy."

Although she's said she's looking forward to going back to work, she'll always enjoy being at home with her kids and her Coldplay frontman husband. "The house is always full of music," she says, "whether it is Chris playing or not, and the children love it."

Angelina Jolie has filed papers to adopt a child in Vietnam, the country's top adoption official said Friday.

According to the Associated Press, the director of Vietnam's International Adoption Agency said an American adoption agency representing Jolie had submitted the paperwork.

"She just filed the papers this week," Vu Duc Long said.

However, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE, "The process began shortly after Shiloh was born."

The source adds: "It has been a long process and she is now simply waiting for further information."

Vietnam has one of the most complex and thorough processes in the world, the source explains, as a large number of reports must be created by Vietnamese authorities, background checks are undertaken, interviews are conducted and many meetings need to occur.

"That process could take a long time to unfold," says the source, "and while it is wonderful that people are excited about it, the news that papers have been filed is only the beginning of a very comprehensive and detailed process."

In addition to 9-month-old Shiloh, Jolie, 31, and Brad Pitt, 43, are parents to son Maddox, 5, and daughters Zahara, 2.

Jolie said in December that she wanted more kids. "I'd like to add many more children and many more obstacles and many more things to my life," she told reporters while promoting her movie The Good Shepherd.

And Pitt told PEOPLE in January that he and Jolie were hoping to expand their family. "Always, of course," he said. "We'll let you know when we get there."

The globe-trotting couple spent Thanksgiving in Vietnam, taking a self-guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City, dining at a popular local restaurant converted from an old temple and later cruising around the former Saigon on a motorcycle.

Asked by a local newspaper how he felt about traveling the busy streets, Pitt replied, "There will be no problem," adding, "We had a wonderful day in Vietnam."

Jolie traveled to Vietnam again in January for a meeting about the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project, her charity aiding her son's native country of Cambodia.

Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar tied the knot Friday in a civil ceremony at a castle in England, and on Saturday said their vows in a religious service at the same castle.

The actress and swimwear-company boss, 41, and the Indian businessman, 42, officially wed Friday at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, 125 miles west of London, Gloucestershire County Council confirmed to the Associated Press.

At the religious service on Saturday, guests included Elton John (who arrived by helicopter, stepping out in a blue-and-white tracksuit) and husband David Furnish, Elle Macpherson, Eva Herzigova, Yasmin Le Bon, designer Valentino, Prince Pavlos of Greece, shoe designer Patrick Cox, style guru Trinny Woodhall, Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon and actress Patsy Kensit.

Hurley's 4-year-old son, Damian, was chauffered to the castle in a Bentley.

A guest tells PEOPLE that John gave Hurley away at the service, which was to open with the hymn "Praise My Soul." Bride and groom and the entire bridal party were outfitted in Versace, and the rings were by Chopard.

The Rev. John Partington, who conducted the religious service, told PEOPLE early Saturday that, like many modern brides, Hurley would not promise to obey Nayar. Instead, she would likely vow to "love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health."

"They had a choice of using contemporary language or old-fashioned language and they have chosen the old-fashioned language," Partington said.

Today's festivities will be followed by a week of celebrations and a ceremony in India, according to reports in the British press.

Hurley and Nayar, an England-raised textile heir and CEO of a software company, have dated since 2003. Nayar was previously married to Italian model Valentina Pedroni; Hurley, who dated Hugh Grant for 10 years, had Damian with film producer Steve Bing.

Hurley recently told German Vanity Fair that she and Nayar met through mutual friends, a couple who were worried about her after her split from Bing. "They said they had a very nice friend, very good-looking, who just separated from his wife."

They been together ever since, she said, and Damian calls him Papa.

When the couple are in England they are mainly based at the 400-acre farm in Gloucestershire that Hurley bought in 2003. Country life, Nayar told PEOPLE in 2005, agrees with them: "I'll take Damian out on the tractor while Elizabeth cooks," he said. "It's a bit like the Waltons."

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott celebrated the grand opening of their newly renovated bed and breakfast on Saturday – just in time.

"Dean was painting doors until 2 p.m.," says Spelling about the day of the party at the 9-acre estate named Chateau La Rue. "Only hours before the gala, all the furniture was gathered in the middle of the rooms and not set out. It was sheer madness. It came down to the wire but we pulled it off."

The inn, named after Spelling's pug Mimi La Rue, is in Fallbrook, Calif., about 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles, and is the focus of the couple's new reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, premiering on the Oxygen network on March 20.

But this three-room inn isn't like most B&Bs: It features sleek Jonathan Adler furniture, modern art and a dramatic entryway with two large fishtanks. "We don't like traditional B&Bs because they are cluttered with people's eclectic old collectibles," says Spelling. "We wanted a modern, chic B&B for our generation. We can't wait to entertain our guests with fun theme nights and movie nights on the lawn."

Among those who came to celebrate the opening were Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, as well as Melrose Place alumni Grant Show and Kelly Rutherford.

The first official guests are expected to arrive this week. "Dean will be doing a lot of the day-to-day manual labor," says Spelling. "Since I'm in my ninth month (of pregnancy), I'm exhausted and it's hard for me to get around. But I love to cook so I'll be preparing a lot of the food and conceptualizing the theme nights."

Spelling is due to give birth to a boy at the end of the month. "I'm so excited to meet my little man so soon," she says. "I'm over the moon with anticipation of his arrival. I'm counting down the days!"

Britney Spears's family is pulling together to support the singer, who last month entered Promises rehab facility in Malibu, Calif., PEOPLE reports in its upcoming issue.

Her estranged husband, Kevin Federline, along with his mother and Spears's mom Lynne, have forged closer ties while they care for the couple's sons, Sean Preston, 18 months, and Jayden James, 6 months – and help Spears work on her sobriety.

"Everyone is making comments how sad it is that it took this to get everyone together," a source close to Federline tells PEOPLE. "There was a lot of distance between the families but it seems now they all have a common goal, which is to help Britney get better."

As for how the 25-year-old pop star is faring in rehab, on Feb. 28 and March 1, she emerged from Promises looking clear-eyed and happy. On those days, she was out only for a few hours, to attend meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous.

"Going out is fine," says Jim Stillwell, executive director of Impact, a rehab facility in Pasadena. "That is part of the fellowship and getting back into the community."

Others rooting for Spears's recovery include Brooke Shields, who told Access Hollywood last week, amid speculation that Spears may be suffering from postpartum depression, that she'd be available to talk to the singer anytime.

And music producer Timbaland, who has crafted hits for Spears's ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, tells Entertainment Weekly that he'd like to work with Spears once she's better.

''I feel her pain, it really bothers me," says Timbaland, adding that his "best friend" Timberlake would be up for working with Spears as well. (Reps for Timberlake's label, Jive, could not be reached for comment.)

"I just want to hold her hand," Timbaland says. "I want her to be in my camp, to be around Justin."

A week after Chris Rock and wife Malaak Compton-Rock declared publicly that their 10-year marriage is strong, the couple and proud parents appeared together at the premiere of Rock's new movie, I Think I Love My Wife, Wednesday.

The couple, who have two young daughters, Lola, 4, and Zahra, 2, smiled, embraced and held hands on the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of the new comedy.

The movie's release coincides with rumors of trouble in their marriage, which the couple have vehemently denied. In a statement to PEOPLE last week, they said: "We remain, as always, very happy and committed to our marriage and the beautiful family that we have built."

Still, because marriage is the new movie's theme, the normally private Rock has been discussing the subject of late. "I've been married for 10 years and, you know, it's hard," the comedian said Tuesday at the movie's press day. "You spruce it up and you go places. How do you spruce up anything? Artificially. You go places and do things."

Asked about the best and worst parts of marriage, Rock said, "The best part is just having a partner. There is no real worst part. I'm not going to say there's a worst part. I mean I'm a comedian – comedians like to work alone. So maybe I'm not the ideal guy to be married to, in that sense."

Rock's costar, Gina Torres, who plays his wife in I Think I Love My Wife, said of Rock at Wednesday's premiere, "He's a doting parent and a very loving and affectionate man."

When his new movie premiered in Hollywood March 1, the actor, 39, told PEOPLE that he longed for another child to fill out his brood, which already includes son Keen, 5, and daughter Bella, 1.

"I wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't happen real soon," he said. "We're seriously in heaven with the kids."

Columnist Liz Smith was the first to report the pregnancy.

Asked about the best thing part of fatherhood, Ruffalo said, "It's all the sweet, gentle things that they bring to your life – and their innocence."

Ruffalo, 39, and Coigney, 34, owner of the L.A. boutique Kaviar and Kind, wed in 2000.

The actor struggled for years to break into show business, working L.A. restaurants and taking bit parts before earning a lead role in 2000's You Can Count on Me.

He is currently in Europe shooting The Brothers Bloom with Adrien Brody and Rachel Weisz.

Former Melrose Place costars Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner have been spotted together multiple times – even holding hands – but pals say the two aren't starting a Hollywood romance.

"[They] have been friends since Melrose Place," a Wagner pal tells PEOPLE, referring to the '90s prime-time soap in which the pair played lovers who ended up marrying. "There's definitely no change in their relationship. They [just] went out with a bunch of her friends."

The old friends have more in common than they used to, though. Locklear, 45, is seeking a divorce from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, with whom she has a 9-year-old daughter, Ava. Wagner, 47, is a single parent of two sons, Peter, 16, and Harrison, 12, having divorced his wife, Kristina, in 2006.

After her breakup with Sambora last February, Locklear seemed to have found romance with David Spade, yet a source says, "David saw her through some really sad times, but they were never more than friends."

Perhaps Wagner (who currently plays a sea captain on daytime's The Bold and the Beautiful) is following suit – at least when it comes to platonic PDA with Locklear.

According to an onlooker who spotted the actors sharing some crispy-noodle prawns at Mr. Chow on March 1, "they were holding hands and really focused on each other."

Those who know Heather say entwined fingers do not a relationship make. "She holds her friends' hands all the time," says a pal. "Men, women – it doesn't mean anything."

But if their relationship does heat up, Wagner's already got the green light from Locklear's friend, who ticks off a list of the singer-actor's sexy traits.

"He's super funny, charming, considerate and a little irreverent," she says. "I don't think anyone would be sad if [something more] happened."

Jennifer Garner admits there are pitfalls to being a Hollywood mom – but she and husband Ben Affleck are planning to have another baby, anyway.

"I'm assuming we'll have at least one more, but not for a while," the former Alias star – and mother of 1-year-old daughter Violet – tells the British edition of Marie Claire in its April issue.

Regarding the problems of raising a child in Hollywood, where parental indulgence often outweighs discipline, Garner tells the magazine, "If anyone has any ideas, let me know!"

Garner, 34, is keenly aware of what it is like not to have everything growing up. Speaking of her humble beginnings – Garner's grandmother made the family's clothes out of flour sacks – she says she is conscious of not spoiling her daughter.

"It's tough, I do love to buy little girls' clothes," she says. Her husband is not so firm, however. "Ben would buy her anything. So we're going to have to pull back when she realizes what we're doing."

For his part, says his wife, Affleck, also 34, "has an incredible work ethic, not taking anything for granted. We want that so badly for her."

Since her birth, Violet has also taught her mom a thing or two. "Since having my daughter," Garner says, "I feel both happiness and anxiety more deeply."

One example she cites: "Last night I read this script about cancer and had to get out of bed, get a drink of water and watch Grey's Anatomy, it was so terrifying to me."

Designer Marc Jacobs has entered rehab for treatment of drug and alcohol abuse.

According to Women's Wear Daily, Jacobs entered a treatment facility in Arizona the day after his March 4 fashion show for Louis Vuitton in Paris.

The designer's business partner, Robert Duffy, told WWD on Monday, "Marc made the right decision. He'd been sober for seven years. When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away."

Duffy added, "Thankfully, Marc recognized the problem himself and chose to deal with it. Obviously, our prayers are with him."

Jacobs's latest collection for Louis Vuitton was partly inspired by actress Scarlett Johansson, who sat front-row at his Paris show. "We wanted romance, but we wanted it bold," Jacobs told PEOPLE backstage.

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed their first child together, a son, on Tuesday, PEOPLE has learned.

Liam Aaron McDermott, who was born in a Los Angeles hospital, weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, according to the couple's rep.

Spelling's mother Candy Spelling was at the hospital. The baby arrived just as the new mother is reconciling with her own mom after a long estrangement.

"Words can't describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event," Candy tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it."

A rep for the couple adds: "They're all really happy and everybody's resting now. Tori and the baby are healthy."

The baby's middle name of Aaron is a tribute to Spelling's late father, legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling, who died in June.

"I am ready, ready, ready to meet my little man!" Spelling, 33, told PEOPLE last month.

Spelling and McDermott revealed exclusively to PEOPLE in December that they were expecting a boy. "Little boys are a ton of fun," Spelling said at the time. "We play tunes for him and watch him kick. He already loves the Dixie Chicks! We went to their concert and he kicked the whole time."

This is the first child for Spelling; McDermott, 40, has a son, Jack, 8, with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.

McDermott and Spelling met in the summer of 2005 while in Canada filming the TV movie Mind Over Murder and tied the knot in Fiji the following May.

The couple have already set up a nursery decorated in turquoise and chocolate brown, says Jo Gartin of Love Luck and Angels, who planned their baby shower for 50 friends last month in West Hollywood. At the event, Spelling happily let her friends rub her belly. "I've loved being pregnant, but I'm ready to give birth," she told PEOPLE with a laugh. "I can't wait to be a mom and hold this little baby in my arms."

Plus, the new parents also have another baby to look after – their newly renovated bed and breakfast, Chateau La Rue, in Fallbrook, Calif., about 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles. The inn, named after Spelling's pug Mimi La Rue, also serves as the focus of the couple's new reality show, Tori & Dean: Inn Love, debuting on the Oxygen network on March 20.

The formal introduction of Pax Thien Jolie to his new mother didn't exactly go smoothly: The 3-year-old Vietnamese boy started crying when Angelina Jolie knelt down to speak to him at Thursday morning's welcoming ceremony at Tam Binh Orphanage in Ho Chi Minh, according to the orphanage director, Mr. Nguyen Van Trung.

Jolie wasn't phased. "She told me she understands – that it's normal for all young children to be scared," Trung recalled Thursday. Jolie took the boy aside in a separate room from the ceremony for the boy to recover his composure. "Later he was okay, very cheerful and happy," Trung said. "He even played with his new brother Maddox."

The star completed adoption procedures in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday morning after picking her new son up from the orphanage – the same one that she and Brad Pitt visited during a trip to the former Saigon last November. This time, Jolie came without Pitt: She adopted the boy as a single parent because Vietnam's adoption regulations don't allow unmarried couples to co-adopt. But Jolie didn't come alone to the orphanage: she brought along son Maddox to meet his new brother.

The boy's main caretaker at the orphanage, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Tuyen, said there was a reason that Pax – usually known as an exceptionally cheerful child – was caught off guard Thursday: He wasn't actually told by the staff that he was being adopted that day.

"We did not say anything to him, afraid we might put pressure on him and more frightened," Tuyen said. "We just told him that we are taking him out. You are going to play outside – play with a mother and father."

Still, the orphanage staff prepared him as best they could: They packed a small box with two sets of clothes for him to take, and his favorite toys, especially a small plastic piano. They also taught him a few phrases of English: "How are you?" and "What's your name?"

Tuyen said she'll miss the boy but adds that any day a child is adopted is a special day at the orphanage. "We are glad that he's adopted. He's very clever and I hope he has a good life," Tuyen said. "We just hope he will return to visit us one day."

John Travolta would like to expand his family – if his wife, actress Kelly Preston, will allow it, the actor tells PEOPLE.

"There's a thought of this summer maybe trying for a third but that depends on Kelly's schedule," Travolta told PEOPLE at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas. " I leave it up to her."

Travolta, 53, and Preston, 44, have two children – Jett, 14, and Ella Bleu, 7 – but another child has been on the couple's mind.

"I really like having kids. I enjoy their energy and it keeps everything wonderful and hopeful," says Travolta, who was in town to promote his upcoming summer move, Hairspray. "I grew up with six kids in my family. I thought I would have five or six."

On Entourage, Kevin Dillon plays the guileless – and often clueless – actor Johnny "Drama" Chase.

But in real life, the 41-year-old plays a far more serious role: dedicated long-distance father of a 16-year-old daughter.

"She's in New York, so its tough right now, but I can wield a lot of power from a distance on the telephone," Dillon told PEOPLE at an AG Adriano Goldschmied Boutique reception in Beverly Hills for an Entourage-inspired clothing line.

"I enjoy fatherhood," says the Mamaroneck, N.Y., native, who moved to Los Angeles for the HBO series about life in Hollywood's fast lane. "I love it, and I still spend a lot of time back East."

Not that having a teen is without its concerns. "She's been dating for awhile," says Dillon. "She's had a boyfriend for a year now. He's a nice boy – thank God for that."

Dillon, in fact, has two children. Daughter Ava, nearly 1, was born last May. Her mom is model-actress Jane Stuart, whom Dillon married earlier last year.

Besides being a father and husband at home, Dillon's also a landlord – and handyman. "I do real estate," he says about the L.A. four-plex he bought six years ago.

In addition to living there with his wife and daughter, "I have great tenants. They've all become my friends. They call me and say, 'Hey Kev, we've got a drip!' "

As for Entourage, which begins its fourth season April 8, Dillon says, "There are some good things [ahead] for Johnny Drama. He's got his career on the up, he did a show that people are starting to watch – I don't want to say too much."

Uma Thurman and hotelier Andre Balazs have ended their three-year, on-again off-again relationship, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE.

The breakup of Thurman, 36, and Balazs, 50 – who had begun dating in late 2003 – takes place amid rumors that the couple were planning to wed in the Caribbean this summer.

Thurman's publicist, Robert Garlock, did not wish to comment on Sunday.

Just over a year ago at this time, after Thurman appeared at the 2006 Oscars without Balazs, Garlock issued a statement saying that the Kill Bill actress and Balazs – who owns such properties as New York's Mercer Hotel and the Chateau Marmont and the Standard in Los Angeles – had ended their relationship.

"Unfortunately, it is true," said the March 8, 2006, statement. "But we remain close friends."

By last fall, however, the two were again more than just friends, being seen together everywhere from Copenhagen to New York – which Thurman and her two children by former husband Ethan Hawke call home.

Thurman and Hawke were together for six years, until she filed for divorce in 2003.

Thurman is currently filming The Accidental Husband, in which she stars as a talk-radio host who gets into trouble after dishing out love advice.

Never ones to follow the crowd, the "happily unmarried" Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed nevertheless have joined a growing trend – of couples who get plastic surgery together.
I'd thought about it before," Simmons, 57, the eel-tongued, kabuki-faced guitarist from KISS, tells PEOPLE. "I was aware I had jowls."

"Like Jabba the Hutt!" teases Tweed, 50, Playboy's 1982 Playmate of the Year.

And though she was all for the surgery, "I didn't want him to look younger than me," she says. So in November, the couple, who have been together for 24 years and have two kids together, were ready for new faces.
It's a growing trend among couples, but few are recording their procedures for posterity. In this case, nearly every pre-through-post-op moment was taped for the couple's A&E reality program, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, which begins its second season on March 25.

The show does take some creative license, making it appear that Tweed tricks Simmons into doing it: He acts surprised when he finds himself in the Beverly Hills offices of Dr. Frank Ryan – and hears that the procedures will run over $40,000 each. (Actually, Dr. Ryan hints that the surgery was gratis.)

When it comes to talking about his exes, Justin Timberlake is a model of diplomacy.

Asked what he thinks about Britney Spears's recent ups and downs, the singer, 26, demurs, telling Details in its April issue, "We had our thing, and it's over."

And he won't speak at all about Cameron Diaz, from whom he split in January after nearly four years together.

Instead, he slams the tabloids that, he says, "create soap operas out of people's lives." He won't take part in the speculation about the people in his life: "I would never say anything bad about anyone," he says. "I love a lot of those people."

When it comes to discussing his music, however, Timberlake is more forthcoming.

About his first solo album, Justified, he says: "I tried so hard to be an R&B artist, and it was pop album of the year, and I was like, 'F---. That's the last thing I wanted.' But I was like, 'So everyone considers me a pop artist? Well, f--- it. I'm going to do whatever I want to do."
One thing he wishes he hadn't done, he admits, was "My Grammy Moment" during the February awards show, when a contest winner got to perform alongside him.

Though he wanted to cancel the appearance, Timberlake says, he didn't, "Because I'm the nice guy who follows through on the things he commits to. But I don't know if I'll be going through that sort of thing again. I feel like the Grammys used me for ratings. And look at it – they were up 18 percent."

In her first public appearance since rehab, Britney Spears stepped out to take a dance class and have sushi dinner with her girlfriends.

Spears left home Friday night to take a one-hour hip-hop class at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood – this after laying low since checking out of Malibu's Promises treatment facility on Tuesday.

Wearing nude fishnet stockings with dance boots, black hot pants, a black long-sleeved shirt and baseball cap over her dark brown wig, Spears arrived with her assistant as well as two bodyguards to take a 7 p.m. advanced-level hip-hop class with instructor Darrien Henning.

"The minute she walked in, she basically lit up the room," Henning told PEOPLE. "I had no idea she was coming, so I was shocked."

Spears, whom Henning described as looking "fantastic," quietly took a spot in the back of the about 30-person class held at the studio's 12,000-sq.-ft. "Dome." "She did the choreography really well, Henning said, adding, "In fact, she came in and nailed it."

And the pop star's presence in class seemed to serve as an inspiration: "All my students tried harder to get on their game," Henning observed.

Returning to the dance studio is a homecoming of sorts for the pop star, says Millennium Dance Complex owner Robert Baker, who counts Spears as one of his star clients. "She also comes in to scope talent," Baker told PEOPLE. "More than once she's hired our teachers to choreograph for her."

And true to form, the pop star stuck around after class to watch a master class from the VIP lounge.

Spears next headed to Bel Air fusion Japanese eatery SHU Sushi House Unico to meet up with three girlfriends around 10 p.m. The four women dined at a table near a window at the front of the restaurant, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.

Upon leaving, the pop star smiled at waiting photographers and gave a friendly wave before heading home alone at about 11:30 p.m.

While his ex Britney Spears worked on her dance moves back in Los Angeles, Kevin Federline celebrated his 29th birthday over the weekend in Las Vegas with his kids and ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.

Returning three weeks after a visit there with the kids while Spears was in rehab, Federline arrived in town Friday afternoon with sons Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 6 months, in tow.

After checking into Caesars Palace, Federline spent the remainder of the afternoon relaxing in a VIP cabana at Caesars' Venus Pool Club, a private somewhat hidden topless pool adjacent to the general public pool, a source tells PEOPLE.

The birthday festivities kicked off Saturday night, with Federline (who turned 29 on March 21) starting his evening at Social House, dining on Asian fare with 14 of his closest friends and family by his side, a source tells PEOPLE.

"He was talking on the phone and texting the whole time," said the source.

Later, Federline made his way to Caesars' Pure Nightclub, where his ex Shar Jackson was already present.

"As soon as his parents got to the club they immediately went to Shar's table on the other side of the club and hung out there for a while," a source says. "They were taking photos with her and catching up. It's pretty easy to see that they still care about her."

Meanwhile, a well-dressed Federline "was clearly having a good time, hanging with his group and singing along to most of the music," says an onlooker.

Drinking Jack Daniels, Federline hung out in his VIP area most the night, waving to the crowd as they yelled for him.

At 2:30 a.m., Jackson again returned to Federline's table to dance with his parents. Federline then grabbed the mic, says a source, and said to the crowd: "'My entire family came out for my birthday. My brothers are here, my mother, my father, my sister and even my ex Shar Jackson came out for this.'"

Just before 4 a.m., Federline retreated to his room at Caesars, the 4,000-sq.-ft "Rainman Suite" – where, yes, the movie of the same name was filmed.

Jessica Simpson was in a giving mood Sunday when she donated a brand new minivan to the Mexican orphanage she supports, PEOPLE has learned.

The pop star, 26, drew cheers when she drove through the gates of the Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, in a white 2007 Chrysler Town & Country and handed the keys to Mama Lupita, who runs the home.

"The kids were cheering when she pulled up," Simpson's rep tells PEOPLE. "They surrounded the car and were so excited to see her. They kept saying, 'Muchas gracias! Muchas gracias!' A few of them spoke English and said, 'We love you, Jessica!' "

Mama Lupita, who speaks little English, was the first to give Simpson a big hug.

"I'm so honored and happy to be able to help," said Simpson, who hugged Mama Lupita and the throng of kids who had waited anxiously to see her and presented her with gifts, including an engraved plaque with a photo of the kids and a beaded necklace they'd made for her.

Simpson laughed when a mariachi band burst onto the scene to serenade her (the kids had saved up to hire the group by selling jewelry they crafted themselves).

"What an amazing surprise!" Simpson said, putting her hand on her heart.

Simpson was there with her mother Tina (who rode in the passenger seat when her daughter drove the minivan onto the orphanage's grounds), her manager father Joe and a few others. Boyfriend John Mayer stayed in L.A.

Last fall, Simpson won a Chrysler Crossfire sports car at a swag suite at the MTV's Video Music Awards, but asked Chrysler to exchange it for a minivan so she could help out the orphanage.

A spokesperson for Chrysler confirmed: "Instead of the Chrysler Crossfire, she decided to get a minivan for the orphanage instead. She went for the Chrysler Town & Country."

The van Mama Lupita had been using for the orphanage broke down last year. She borrowed an old truck from a friend, but that broke down too, leaving her with no transportation for the children.

The seven-passenger minivan even has a DVD player so the kids can watch their favorite movies when Mama Lupita drives them around.

Rock musician Scott Weiland's wife blamed an imbalance in her medication to treat a bipolar disorder for a weekend blowout that led to her arrest.

"For lack of a better expression I was unstable and just 'lost it,' " Mary Weiland, 41, said in a statement Wednesday.

Mary Weiland was arrested and booked for investigation of felony arson vandalism after allegedly torching $10,000 worth of Scott's prized menswear outside their Southern California home on Saturday.

"The weekend's difficulties were brought on by a reaction to an imbalance in medications used to treat my bipolar disorder," Mary Weiland says. "Scott was simply trying to help calm me down. I want to make it very clear that he did not hurt me in any way."

Paris Hilton has been found in violation of the terms of her probation and faces a maximum sentence of 90 days in jail, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office announced Thursday.

Hilton, 26, was spotted Feb. 27 speeding down Sunset Boulevard around 11 p.m. without her headlights on, says L.A. Sheriff's spokesman Oscar Butao.

After pulling over her 2007 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible, officers found Hilton was driving with a suspended license – the result of her DUI arrest last September.

In that case, she pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of alcohol-related reckless driving on Jan. 22, and was placed on 36 months probation.

Hilton's rep and attorney were not immediately available for comment.

Previously, Hilton's spokesman Elliot Mintz told the Associated Press that she was unaware that her license had been suspended.

"When Paris called me (after she was pulled over on Feb. 27), she asked if her license was suspended," Mintz said. "If that's the case, she and I are unaware of it."

But Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the City Attorney's Office, said Thursday: "We have sufficient evidence to prove that Hilton had knowledge of the suspension, and yet continued to drive."

A hearing was set for April 17.

Justin Timberlake vowed to "break the slime barrier" at Saturday's 20th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards – and the show's host sure did deliver the green goo.

Timberlake, who won the award for favorite male singer, was slimed both at the beginning and end of the show.

During the opening number, Timberlake, dressed in a tuxedo and an orange scarf, sang: "You'll never get a drop of slime on old J.T." – but was soon covered with it.

Other stars who got drenched with the green stuff included Mandy Moore, Tobey Maguire, Steve Carell, Vince Vaughn, Chris Tucker, and Jackie Chan. Even Nicole Kidman got slightly slimed when she accepted the award for the animated movie Happy Feet. (The actress, who voiced a character in the film, was there on behalf of the film's director, George Miller.)

The show, which featured performances by Gwen Stefani and Maroon 5, also included a daredevil bungee jump by stuntman Ron Jones, who plunged into a giant vat of green slime from a height of 225 feet.

Early in raucous show, Charlotte's Web star Dakota Fanning won for favorite female movie star and the Black Eyed Peas won for favorite musical group.

"I consider all of you my friends!" said Fanning, who was presented with the award by Blades of Glory stars Will Ferrell and John Heder.

Other awards went to Ben Stiller, who took home the night's top honor, the Wannabe Award, Adam Sandler for favorite male film actor and American Idol for favorite the TV show. Idol judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul were on hand to accept the award.

Randy asked Paula, "Where's Simon?" Paula responded, to much squealing from the crowd, "Who cares?"

Sandler, who won for favorite male movie star in 2003 and 2005 as well, accepted the award while speaking in his Happy Gilmore voice and thanked the crowd "for not making fun of me for talking like this every speech I do."

In L.A. Panettiere has found a BFF in Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's daughter Rumer, 18 ("I stole my pink belly-button ring from Rumer," she admits), and a boyfriend in Laguna Beach's Stephen Colletti, 21, whom she's been dating for more than a year.

But Panettiere and Colletti are so low-key (their nights out usually consist of dinner and a movie) that the actress feels guilty about not giving gossipmongers more to work with.

"I had paparazzi on my street for a while," she says. "I think I bored them to tears. I'm no fun to watch."

They must be really close friends: Ashlee Simpson and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz spent Saturday night kissing and cuddling at the new L.A. hot spot Parc.

At the club for a pal's birthday, Simpson, 22, and Wentz, 27, got cozy in a semi-hidden booth, holding hands, gazing into each other's eyes and smooching in between Simpson's dance sessions with a group of girlfriends.

"They definitely weren't hiding the fact that they were together," said one onlooker. "They were making out a lot and they were pretty intense."

Wentz told PEOPLE in November that although "Ashlee is the sweetest girl ever," they were "just friends." And in February he told Rolling Stone: "Maybe in a different universe, we'd be some hot couple, but not in this one."

Perhaps Parc is a different universe. After their PDA-filled evening in front of clubgoers including The O.C.'s Adam Brody and Benjamin McKenzie (who at one point gathered with other friends around Simpson and Wentz's booth to sing "Happy Birthday" to the guest of honor), the pop star and the rocker left together, hand-in-hand.

Although Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz broke up earlier this year after nearly four years together, the singer has nothing but kind words for his ex.

Asked about the split by British GQ, Timberlake, 26, says, "It's hard for me to talk about because we're talking about a person that I love and respect."

Timberlake, known for being mum about his personal life, makes it clear that he'd never speak badly about Diaz – and wouldn't tolerate anyone else doing it either.

"If I hear anyone say anything bad about Cameron then I'll have something to say to them," he tells the magazine in its May issue.

When it comes to the subject of his other ex, Britney Spears, Timberlake tells the magazine, "Honestly, I am so far removed from that situation."

Timberlake's best friend, Trace Ayala, seconds that, saying, "She just isn't part of his life."

As for the rumor that Timberlake sent a veiled message to Spears while accepting a Brit Award for best international male solo artist in February, the singer is mystified.

At the awards ceremony Timberlake told the crowd, "Stop drinking! You know who you are. I'm speaking to you. You are going to get sloppy," which some tabloids guessed was a reference to Spears, who entered rehab later that month.

Timberlake says he "didn't know anything" about the rumor and shakes his head in disbelief, asking, "A coded message to Britney?"

He clearly has other things to think about: He's midway through his FutureSex/LoveShow tour, which wraps up in China in September, and stars in Black Snake Moan with Christina Ricci and Samuel L. Jackson, currently in theaters.

Snoop Dogg was charged Tuesday with felony gun and marijuana charges, the Los Angeles County District Attorney announced.

The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, faces up to four years in state prison if convicted. His arraignment was set for Wednesday.

Snoop was arrested Oct. 26 at Burbank's airport after a handgun and marijuana were found in his car, police say.

Police executing a search warrant at his suburban Los Angeles home in November allegedly discovered another gun.

Because Snoop is a convicted felon from a 1990 cocaine trafficking bust, he is forbidden from possessing a gun for life.

His attorney, Donald Etra, tells PEOPLE: "These are the charges that were fully expected, and they will be dealt with in court."

The musician also has a standing case in Orange County for a felony charge of knowingly possessing a dangerous weapon. On Sept. 27, Snoop tried to board a plane in Santa Ana, Calif., while carrying a 20-inch collapsible baton in a computer bag, police say. He faces up to three years in prison if convicted.

"Snoop's not guilty plea (in that case) says it all," Etra previously told PEOPLE. "The item he's charged with was a movie prop, not a weapon. Snoop never intended it to be used as anything other than a prop."

This was the latest trouble for Snoop, who last month canceled his British tour with rapper Diddy after Snoop was denied a visa into the country.

Marc Anthony has agreed to pay $2.5 million in back taxes and penalties after failing to file returns for five years, New York prosecutors said Wednesday.

Anthony, 38, the husband of Jennifer Lopez, wasn't prosecuted because an accountant handled his returns and Anthony thought the taxes had been paid, according to Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau.

Lopez, 37, wasn't implicated in the investigation because the couple didn't file jointly, the Associated Press reports.

Morgenthau said Anthony didn't file returns for 2000 through 2004 on $15.5 million in income, according to AP.

Two of Anthony's associates, including his brother, who managed Anthony's businesses, have pleaded guilty to tax felonies and will pay back taxes and fines, AP reports.

Madonna is on her way to Malawi for charity work – not to adopt another child, the singer's rep tells PEOPLE.

"Madonna is indeed going to Africa to continue her work with the Raising Malawi organization," says her rep Liz Rosenberg. "She is overseeing the building of a children's health care center. "

Her adoption of David Banda from Malawi last year caused a worldwide stir. A judge in Malawi has permitted a coalition of 67 human-rights groups to move forward with their legal challenge to the adoption and allow them to help decide if the singer is a fit mother.

Although Madonna says her efforts to adopt David were so difficult that she repeatedly considered giving up, her return to Malawi sparked new rumors that she was planning to adopt another child.

But her rep says: "She is absolutely not adopting another baby. I know that has been a rumor ever since she began the adoption process for her son David but it just isn't true. "

Madonna, meanwhile, has been back to the recording studio – this time working working with Justin Timberlake, who is producing, says Timberlake's rep.

Clueless star Alicia Silverstone is into healthy eating and living close to nature – but that wasn't always the case.

"Steak and doughnuts" were among her staples before she cleaned up her eating habits and went vegan, she tells the new InStyle Home.

"Now I'm a total health nut," says Silverstone, 30. "I don't get sick very often and when I do it's for a short period."

She attributes her health to her diet and active lifestyle. "It's empowering to know that you're responsible for how you feel each day because of the way you treat your body."

One of her favorite workouts? Jumping on the trampoline in the backyard of the Los Angeles home she shares with her husband, musician Christopher Jarecki, 36. "It's great exercise and really makes you giggle," she says.

She's also passionate about being environmentally responsible. She drives a hybrid car, uses energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs and has solar panels on the roof of her house.

"I love living this way," she says. "It's so satisfying and inspiring."

Prince William has split from his girlfriend Kate Middleton, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The breakup was "amicable," according to a friend of the couple.

The prince, 24, and Middleton, 25, have been dating for nearly five years, after meeting at St. Andrews University in Scotland.

A spokesman at the prince's office at Clarence House says they will not be commenting. "We don't comment on Prince William's private life," the rep says. Britain's The Sun newspaper first reported Saturday that the pair had reached an "amicable agreement" to separate.

The pair are said to have grown increasingly independent of each other since their university days. William is currently taking an armored corps commander course in Dorset, around 125 miles west of London, and it has kept him from Middleton and her new life in London.

Middleton, who is an accessories buyer for the British fashion chain Jigsaw, also was having difficulties with the media pressure that came with being his long-term girlfriend. (Speculation continued over whether the couple would get engaged.)

Although she has been "brave," as one friend tells PEOPLE, the attention was an ongoing source of trouble. Earlier this month she won a public apology from a British newspaper after it printed a photograph of her heading to work.

The engagement talk peaked in December, when she appeared at his graduation from military college, sitting in a prominent seat along with her parents and two of his closest friends.

Meg Ryan believes it was fate that brought her together with her 2-year-old adopted daughter, Daisy.

"I am convinced, completely convinced that there was nothing random about [the adoption]," the actress, 45, tells Redbook in its May issue. "She is the daughter I should have."

Months after applying to adopt a child in China, Ryan flew there to bring her baby daughter home to Los Angeles, PEOPLE reported in January 2006. Ryan initially named the girl Charlotte, but quickly realized that name didn't fit her and changed it.

"I thought she was Charlotte, and she's just not," Ryan said on The Oprah Winfrey Show in March of last year. "She's a Daisy. She's got the most open, beautiful, honest face you'll just ever see."

Of the adoption, Ryan tells Redbook, "I never felt like I was on a rescue mission or anything like that. I just really wanted a baby; I was on a mission to connect with somebody, and Daisy and I got to meet each other in this way at this time. We are so compatible."

Ryan also has a son who turns 15 this month, Jack Henry, whose father is her ex-husband, Dennis Quaid.

"This is the best time in my whole life," says Ryan, who is back on the screen in In the Land of Women after an absence of a few years. "I'm happy in my skin, I'm happy in my home, I'm happy in my career. I'm just very satisfied all around. I don't feel like I'm living anybody else's life, or anybody else's idea of what I should be doing, and it just feels very good."

She adds: "I know I'm very lucky. I feel that I've positioned myself in this way, to have a full life, and I'm doing it."

Things were not so easy when she began her career. "When I first because famous, it was kind of traumatizing, actually. You just constantly feel like you're getting hit, you know?" she says. "I would say there's no real upside to fame. No really measurable one. There's money, but that doesn't necessarily come along with fame.

"People always say that they can get dinner reservations, but c'mon. You could always figure out some other way to dinner reservations."

Reality TV producer Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice) and former Touched By An Angel star Roma Downey were wed in a private ceremony at their home in Malibu Saturday afternoon, PEOPLE confirms exclusively.

"It was wonderful to have shared our big day with our family – Roma, myself, our children and our parents," Burnett, who's also producing this summer's On the Lot on FOX and Pirate Master on CBS, tells PEOPLE. "It was so meaningful and so intimate."

On a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Burnett, 46, and Downey, 47, said their "I dos" in a ceremony officiated by Downey's Angel costar, Della Reese, 75, who is an ordained minister.

Burnett's sons from a previous marriage, James, 13 and Cameron, 10, acted as best man and ring bearer, respectively (Cameron was also the ring bearer for the wedding of Donald Trump and Melania Knauss in January 2005). Downey's daughter from a previous marriage, Reilly, 10, was a bridesmaid.

Also in attendance were Burnett's father, Archie, 83, dressed in a traditional kilt, and Burnett's stepmother, Jean; for Downey, Reese and her husband, Franklin, stood in for Downey's parents, both of whom have passed away.

At the end of the half-hour ceremony, which included family members reading selected passages from novels and poems, a small plane that Downey had hired as a surprise for Burnett flew overhead with a banner that read, "... and they lived happily ever after."

Retreating to their backyard, the family settled into a seafood reception with shrimp cocktail, fresh lobster salad and broiled lobster tails. The adults toasted with Cristal Champagne; the kids, with Martinelli's sparkling apple juice. To finish the day: wedding cake, ice cream and fruit.

The couple, who had been Malibu neighbors for years when they started dating in January of 2004, became engaged last November during a Thanksgiving family vacation in Zihuatenejo, Mexico. The traveling will continue as the pair leaves on a 10-day honeymoon to Jordan, where Lawrence of Arabia was filmed, and London.

Paris Hilton and her longtime press representative, Elliot Mintz, have ended their relationship, Mintz announced in an e-mail to PEOPLE received Sunday night.

The dissolution of their partnership comes two days after Hilton, 26, was sentenced to 45 days in jail for violation of her probation by driving with a suspended driver's license. (She is to report for jail by June 5.)

According to Mintz's message, "The day after the hearing, I sent Paris an e-mail expressing my sadness over the ruling of the judge and the irrational sentence he imposed."

At her hearing Friday, Hilton told Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer that Mintz had repeatedly informed her that her license had been suspended for only 30 days and that she could still drive for work-related matters.

"In that e-mail [to Paris]," Mintz said in his message to PEOPLE, "I also offered my sincerest apology for any misunderstanding she received from me regarding the terms of her probation. To the extent that I have mIscommunicated information I received from her attorneys ? I am deeply and profoundly sorry."

He added, "I told her that I assume personal responsibility for my part in this matter."

The message continues: "I believe when Paris stated in court that she believed it was o.k. for her to drive under certain circumstances she was being absolutely truthful.

"Due to this misunderstanding, I am no longer representing Paris."

He concludes, "For the record, I have nothing but love and respect for Paris and her family. Paris is a wonderful person and does not deserve the punishment that was handed down by the court. I only wish her my best."

Something of a legendary figure in the annals of press representation, Mintz, 62, whose current client roster includes Christie Brinkley, got his foothold in the business in the 1970s as a confidante of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

In a 2006 New York Times profile of Mintz, which said that he and Hilton were in contact either by chatting or e-mailing as many as 12 times a day, the hotel heiress said of him, "'I speak to him more than anyone else in my life."

"He really gets me, the whole Paris thing," Hilton told the paper. "He knows it's all a game."

When told that Mintz contemplated thoughts of retirement in 2007, Hilton shrieked a response of "Noooo," and said, "I trust him with my life."

For his part, when asked by The Times how he could go from John Lennon to Paris Hilton, Mintz said it was a matter of staying current. "Young people don't believe in politicians," he said. "They don't believe in their leaders. They look to celebrities to represent them."

As she shoots her latest movie, Mad Money, in Shreveport, La., Katie Holmes is making sure her fellow cast and crew members – all 200 or so of them – are well fed. For the third consecutive Friday she brought in a special treat.

"We got cupcakes," one cast member told PEOPLE. "They were good, too."

Holmes, who is costarring with Queen Latifah, Diane Keaton and Ted Danson in the comedy, started the Friday tradition on April 27, when she treated the set to 300 ice cream cones – a nice break as temperatures climbed into the high 80s.

The next Friday, Holmes arranged for more than 80 pizzas to be flown in from Chicago and baked locally before being delivered to the set.

"It was a lot of pizza," one fan says. "We had veggie, sausage, pepperoni. It was good pizza."

Meanwhile husband Tom Cruise and baby Suri have been making their own scene on the set. During one rainy day of filming, he introduced the talking and singing 1-year-old – who appeared "just as happy as could be" – to the cast and crew, telling her to say hi, which she did, a source says. After everyone oohed-and-ahhed over Suri, she waved "bye-bye" to the group as the trio left.

Says the source, "They all truly could not have looked happier. ... They were just like any other family in the South."

Sheryl Crow has adopted a 2-week-old boy, the singer announced on her Web site.

The child was given the first name Wyatt, after Crow's father, and the middle name Steven, after both her younger brother Steven Crow and manager Steven "Scooter" Weintraub, she said on her site.

"We are enjoying some very private family time," Crow wrote.

The singer's rep gave no other details except that the child was born in the United States.

The announcement came after Crow, 45, wrapped up a Stop Global Warming college tour – a vegetable oil-powered bus tour with An Inconvenient Truth producer Laurie David of 11 campuses to inform students about climate issues.

Now, her rep tells PEOPLE, "She's just going to take some time off to be a mom."

The adoption caps an emotional stretch for Crow. She split with Lance Armstrong in February 2006 and was diagnosed with breast cancer that same month (she has since successfully completed treatment).

Now single, Crow recently told a rodeo crowd: "I'm looking for a cowboy."

Things are heating up between Lindsay Lohan and Calum Best – literally.

The actress and the British TV personality spent a romantic weekend in the Bahamas, where they celebrated the opening of the Cove Atlantis on Paradise Island with parties, sunbathing and lots of PDA.

The couple, who also got affectionate at a party in New York City a few days earlier, arrived in the Bahamas on Friday evening in time to catch a poolside Janet Jackson concert alongside John Travolta, Rob Lowe, Whitney Houston, Spike Lee, Michael Jordan and Tyra Banks.

Sitting with friends in the VIP area, Lohan and Best danced to Jackson's 20-minute set of greatest hits and wrapped their arms around each other to watch a fireworks show over the Caribbean resort's white-sand beach.

After the concert, the pair moved on to the after-party at the Aura nightclub, where they shared several kisses in a VIP booth. While most of the partygoers left Lohan, 20, and Best, 26, alone, music legend Quincy Jones stopped by the table for a chat.

"[Lindsay is] a good girl," Jones told PEOPLE the next day. "She's very young, but she has a good head on her shoulders."

On Saturday, the couple spent several hours in a private cabana on Cove Beach. As the temperatures soared, Best rubbed sunblock on Lohan's shoulders before they headed into the water for swimming, splashing and still more kissing.

That evening, they returned to Aura, where they sat in the same booth as they had the night before. "They seem to have had a wonderful weekend," says an onlooker. "They're enjoying their time in paradise."

Farrah Fawcett, who was declared cancer-free in February, discovered this week the cancer has returned, PEOPLE has confirmed.

"She was completely devastated at first," says her close friend Craig Nevius, who produced the Chasing Farrah reality show. "And then, as is her way – as was the case the last time – she became much stronger and started dealing with it, and she's beginning to make a plan."

Fawcett got the news after a routine three-month checkup in which doctors discovered a malignant polyp, smaller than a pea, says Nevius.

She was still weighing her treatment options when the National Enquirer reported the cancer's return.

"She didn't have a chance to tell some of her family yet," says Nevius. "It is now clear that the tabloids are as invasive and malignant as cancer."

Nevius says Fawcett has been in good health and is "not feeling the effects" of the recurrence. She has not settled on a treatment option, he says, but is considering having a small metalic "seed" placed in the area that will emit radiation.

Diagnosed with anal cancer in September 2006, the actress, who starred as Jill Munroe in the '70s hit Charlie's Angels, had been declared cancer free by her doctors on Feb. 2, her 60th birthday, after having undergone chemotherapy and radiation.

When she first revealed her condition in October 2006, Fawcett said in a statement, "I am resolutely strong and I am determined to bite the bullet and fight the fight while going through the next six weeks of cutting-edge, state-of-the-art treatment. I should be able to return to my life as it was before at the end of my treatment."

Fawcett, who's served as a celebrity spokesperson for the American Cancer Society, had an older sister, Diane, who died of lung cancer in 1998. Her longtime companion, Ryan O'Neal, also successfully battled leukemia after being diagnosed with the disease in 2001.

Fawcett and O'Neal have a 22-year-old son, Redmond. Though the former couple ended their tumultuous 17-year relationship in 1997, O'Neal has been a steadfast presence at Fawcett's side since her diagnosis.

The same day that news broke of her split from John Mayer, Jessica Simpson says she's "very happy."

Asked by PEOPLE about the split at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday, Simpson replied: "I am very happy, but I don't really want to talk about my personal life tonight because it's not what it's about. But I am very happy. I will let you know that."

The singer-actress officially announced her newest film project, Major Movie Star, at the festival Friday.

Simpson, wearing an off-the-shoulder sequined dress, arrived at the Budweiser Select yacht at 10:15 p.m. in Cannes to help promote her new role in the upcoming military caper, which starts shooting in July in Louisiana.

Earlier this month Simpson's rep confirmed to PEOPLE that the singer had signed on for the title role in the comedy, about a down-on-her-luck actress who enlists in the Marines.

Earlier Friday, sources close to both Simpson and Mayer confirmed that the couple had parted ways – but not necessarily for good.

Keira Knightley, who has battled rumors of an eating disorder, says she wishes she could put on weight in the right places.

For starters, the Oscar-nominated actress, who stars in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End, tells Britain's morning show GMTV, in an interview to air Monday: "I would love to have tits!"

Her ideal? "I would love to have Monica Bellucci's figure," Knightley, 22, says of the Italian model and Matrix movies actress. I'm never going to get it. I'm naturally who I am."

Also in the interview she firmly dismisses the idea of ever getting cosmetic surgery to enhance her figure. "'It's far too frightening. I couldn't."

That means that Knightley has no plans to alter her healthy diet and exercise regime in the hopes of packing on the pounds.

"Yes, I'd say that I do like to keep fit, only because I like to be able to run around and do things," she says. "I think that it would be great in the media if we saw a wider range of women of all ages, of all shapes and sizes."

This isn't the first time Knightley has publicly discussed her breasts – though the last time out, she was complaining that they were too big.

Last summer, with the release of King Arthur, she voiced her criticism over having her bosom digitally enhanced for the look of the movie poster. "Those things certainly weren't mine," FOX News quoted her as saying.

"[The studio marketing people] said, 'We want to make them slightly larger, and you'll get approval [of the photos].' And I was, like, 'OK, fine. I honestly don't give a s--t.'"

Lindsay Lohan was arrested and cited for driving under the influence in Los Angeles in the wee hours of Saturday morning, say police, who also found a substance tentatively identified as "a usable amount of cocaine" in connection with the accident.

The 20-year-old actress was slightly injured when her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible struck a curb and shrub on Sunset Boulevard. The car suffered "major damage," according to police.

Lohan and two other people were in the vehicle when it crashed around 5:30 a.m., Lt. Mitch McCann, media relations officer for Beverly Hills police department, said during a press conference Saturday. The star was hospitalized for minor upper chest injuries. The passengers were not hurt.

Police learned of the accident when they received a 911 call at 5:30 a.m. There was also a witness on the scene, but police do not know if the same person called 911. By the time authorities responded, three minutes after the call, Lohan, her companions and the car were gone from the scene.

Lohan was later located by police at the Century City Hospital. Her car was found at a nearby condo complex and towed at 6:30 a.m. Police won't say how they know that the actress was driving, but say they're "confident" that she was.

At the press conference McCann said: "A usable amount of an illegal narcotic tentatively identified as cocaine was recovered and booked." Police would not specify where the drugs were found. McCann also declined to comment on Lohan's blood-alcohol level.

"She was charged with a misdemeanor," said McCann. "There is a potential for additional charges." Her tentative arraignment date is Aug. 24.

The actress, who stars in the upcoming movie I Know Who Killed Me, was spotted out at the Hollywood hotspot Les Deux before the crash. She arrived around 11:15 p.m. with a group of friends, and was seen dancing and smoking.

Also at the club were singer James Blunt and Paris Hilton, who was recently ordered to 45 days in jail for violating her probation. Hilton was charged with a DUI in September 2006.

Lonnie Moore, co-owner of Les Deux told PEOPLE in a comment Saturday: "A lot of celebrities come [to the restaurant] for dinner or drinks. Because it is a restaurant, open five nights a week, there is no age limit for our patrons. We welcome Lindsay and her friends whenever they would like to come to Les Deux."

Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloane did not immediately return calls for comment.

The incident was first reported by X17 Inc., a celebrity photo agency.

Lohan checked into rehab in January, saying: "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health." The month before that, her rep told PEOPLE the actress had been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

After ending her month-long stint in rehab, Lohan told Allure magazine that she first went to the Wonderland center with a friend and found "a quiet room, all white, with parquet, and it was different! I just felt safe," she said. "I thought, 'I'm going to stay here tonight.' And I stayed there. For a month. It was great."

Comedian Kathy Griffin – who guest co-hosted The View one day after the big fight between Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck – revealed some details about O'Donnell's departure from the show, during a comedy act Saturday night.

"I don't even know where to start," she told a sold-out crowd at the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. "I tell you who I got a call from [on Friday]. 'Hey Kath. It's Ro. What are you doing? Wanna hang out?' I spent the whole day with Rosie! How about that!?'"

So what did Rosie do on Friday? She lived by the lyrics of "Girls Just Wanna have Fun," and took Griffin to watch pal Cyndi Lauper rehearse for her upcoming True Colors Tour. Later, the trio went out for dinner in Manhattan, "and the mojitos were flying," said Griffin (who doesn't drink, and stuck with Diet Pepsi). "It was fun."

Griffin has guest-hosted on The View twice in the last two weeks, "so I was there before, and after the whole split-screen, Hannity and Colmes s---," she said.

Revealing a conversation she had with O'Donnell about how the show's producers split O'Donnell's image with Hasselbeck's during their fight, Griffin said: "And that's what it was. I said, 'What was really it?' And she said, 'The split-screen.' She said, 'I don't want to do Hannity and Colmes. ' "

Griffin also explained O'Donnell's reaction to news that Donald Trump had called Hasselbeck "stupid" in TV interviews. "Awww. that's sad," was her reaction, according to Griffin, who added: "So, she doesn't even hate Elisabeth."

Griffin also praised O'Donnell, saying: "I think she's a pistol, and she's outspoken and fun and says outrageous things. That show's not going to be the same without her, whether you like her or not."

Finally she hinted that The View will have to find a replacement for O'Donnell, to which a number of audience members started chanting "Kathy!"

Griffin, whose name has been mentioned by many TV critics as a possible replacement, responded with a simple, "Thank you. We'll see what happens."

Lisa Ling, correspondent for the Oprah Winfrey Show and National Geographic Channel, married Chicago-based doctor Paul Song on Saturday evening in Los Angeles, her rep tells PEOPLE.

The bride walked down the aisle in a stunning, bright red Vivienne Tam dress in front of 550 family and friends including her journalism mentor Connie Chung and actresses Kelly Hu and Diane Farr.

"It was great!" says Numb3rs star Farr of the event held at Los Angeles's Union Station.

Even preparing for the Asian-themed ceremony proved memorable. "My husband [marketing executive and Song friend Seung Chung] went shopping in Chinatown," says Farr , "We came with a whole crew so he bought 10 outfits – everything from pajamas to silkies. Then we had a dress-up party at my house."

Ling, 33, and Song, 41, got engaged over the holidays after he surprised her by flying their families to Chicago for the proposal which took place in a private dining room of Charlie Trotter's restaurant.

Ling met Song, a radiation oncologist at Chicago's Little Company of Mary Hospital, through mutual friends in 2006.

Currently living in Chicago, the couple plan to settle in Los Angeles. The change, say friends, will be good for Ling. As she told PEOPLE in 2003, "I hope my desire to travel so much isn't forever because it's not the most conducive lifestyle for a relationship or a family by any means."

Rosie O'Donnell is "not sorry" to be leaving The View early, she said on her blog Saturday.

ABC announced Friday that O'Donnell would not return to the show after having a major blowout with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck earlier in the week. She had been scheduled to leave the show when her contract expires in June.

As is her style, O'Donnell answered reader questions on her Web site. When a fan, identified as MACaroni, wrote: "Sorry UR leaving early! I miss U when UR not on so now I wont watch! Best of luck to you!" O'Donnell answered, "dont b sorry/ i am not."

When another fan, Tony, asked: "Don't you want to do an interview something to clear the air?," O'Donnell replied: "no interviews/ u watched it happen/ b 4 ur eyes."

O'Donnell also produced a 13-minute video in which she discusses the incident and shoots down rumors that she trashed the dressing room, saying: "I've never trashed anything, frankly."

She does acknowledge that a friend, who was a producer for The View, drew a moustache on a picture of Hasselbeck at The View studios. "It was only one photo, people, and it was a magazine cut-out. It was a cute little joke on the way out."

Asked by a reader if O'Donnell "ever enjoyed Elisabeth," O'Donnell said, "I can say this: I never tried harder to be friends with someone than I did with her, but I don't think we ever got there."

As for her place on the show, she said: "I was really just like a foster kid for a year. We considered adoption, but I didn't really fit in with the family, and now it's time for the foster kid to go back home."

She also says the final blow was when her image was shown side-by-side with Hasselbeck's during their fight. "When I saw the split screen I knew it was over."

Though most questions and comments on the site were from supporters, some were critical. Wrote one reader labeled as Erica: "Elisabeth really gave it to you! You are retreating like a coward. How does it feel to be such a loser???" to which O'Donnell responds, "peace full."

Asked if she has spoken to Hasselbeck since the on-air fight, O'Donnell says, "She called and Kelli [Carpenter, O'Donnell's partner] and her she spoke for a long time. I haven't spoken to her and I probably won't, and I think it's just as well."

After the fight on Wednesday, Hasselbeck, 29, told TV's Extra that she and O'Donnell, 45, harbor no resentment toward one another.

"The best thing about today is that there's no slow boil, none. It's there, it's an issue, it's dealt with and it's over," she said.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's daughter Suri is not only well dressed, she's well mannered. After visiting a Shreveport, La., children's store recently, the 1-year-old (with a little help from her mom) sent the owners a thank-you note – on her very own embossed stationery.

Melissa Dixon, 23, co-owner of the Ladies in Waiting children's store, tells PEOPLE that Holmes, Suri and two bodyguards visited the shop after Holmes's assistant called ahead to say she'd be in.

With advance notice, Dixon and co-owner Pam Baker, an artist, got busy and created a special pink picture frame decorated with a princess, butterflies – and Suri's name across the bottom.

Holmes's reaction to the frame? "She was really excited," says Dixon.

Dixon says both Holmes and Suri were outgoing: "Katie was really friendly. When she came in she walked up and introduced herself and Suri. We probably had three other kids in here. She complimented everybody else's children and said how cute they were. She was really sweet.

"Katie let Suri walk around," Dixon adds. "One customer had a two-week-old baby and Suri wanted to pick her up. She would wave at the other children and want to play with them."

During their hour-long stay, Holmes bought Suri a pink dress with white rickrack by Princess Linens, three pairs of rain boots, a blanket, some stuffed bunnies and several games. A few days later, Dixon and Baker received a thank-you note.

"The stationery is cream-colored with 'Suri Cruise' embossed across the top," says Dixon. Read the note: "Dear Melissa and Pam, Thank you so much for the beautiful frame for Suri. It is so sweet and reminds us of our wonderful visit to your store and our time in Shreveport. It was a pleasure meeting you, and we thank you again for this unexpected treasure. Warmly, Katie and Suri."

Paris Hilton reported to jail late Sunday night to serve at least 23 days for violating probation.

"I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation," she said in a statement released by her lawyer. "During the past few weeks I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes.

"This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence."

Hilton's attorney, Richard A. Hutton, said in a press release that the 26-year-old heiress had "turned herself in" to begin serving the sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, south of Los Angeles.

She was booked into the jail at 11:38 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Web site, after days of partying and just hours after attending the MTV Movie Awards.

Hilton actually surrendered at the downtown L.A. Men's Central Jail at 11:15 p.m. and was transported to Lynwood, according to TMZ.com, which first reported her surrender.

The procedure at the Lynwood jail required her to surrender all her possessions and then be strip searched before being issued a uniform. She "was cooperative during the [booking] process, which included being fingerprinted, photographed [and] medically screened," a Sheriff's Department statement said.

The statement added that Hilton was issued a booking number and wristband and surrendered her personal property to custody personnel for safekeeping. She was also issued jail clothing, an orange top and pants and personal hygiene items, according to the statement. When the booking process was completed around 1 a.m., Hilton was escorted to her cell.

"Ms. Hilton will be housed in a cell by herself and will be segregated, in a special housing unit, from the general population during her stay at CRDF," the statement said.

Hilton was sentenced to jail on May 4 for violating the terms of her probation by repeatedly driving with a suspended license. She had been placed on probation after pleading no contest to reckless driving in a drunken driving case.

The judge ordered her to serve 45 days, but with good behavior she could be out in 23 days. In the jail, Hilton will have little to no contact with the general inmate population "to ensure her safety as well as the safety of the jail staff," Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore has said.

Hilton will spend approximately 23 hours a day in a 12-by-8-foot cell containing two bunks, a table, a sink, a toilet and a small window, with one hour for recreation. She will eat her meals in the cell. She could also leave her cell to meet with her attorney or to attend classes.

Britney Spears had a whirlwind getaway in Mexico this weekend, where she let her new hair down – and offered some friendly advice to fellow tourists.

Over her three-day vacation, the singer, 25, stayed at the Four Seasons in Punta Mita, 26 miles from Puerto Vallarta.

While strolling on the beach with a pal at the Four Seasons, Spears stopped an older couple, also guests at the hotel, to warn them: "Be careful, there are lots of man o' war jellyfish washing up on shore, you don't want to get stung," a source tells PEOPLE.

According to the source, Spears was "very sweet" – and the couple didn't recognize her until she started talking to them.

"She seemed happy and carefree with her friend," says the source.

Spears, who went to Mexico on Thursday and returned to Los Angeles on Sunday, was photographed over the weekend in Mexico wearing a turquoise-and-white sarong with her blonde hair extensions in a messy ponytail.

The weekend away comes just days after she posted a message on her Web site, saying she was at "rock bottom" when she went to rehab earlier this year and thanking fans for their support. "I love you for still loving me," she wrote.

Spears, who has been recording a new album, also recently performed several shows in Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas in recent weeks.

The speculation is over: After a controversial season, Isaiah Washington will not be returning to Grey's Anatomy, his rep and ABC Television Studio have confirmed.

Howard Bragman, Washington's publicist, says Washington's option was not renewed, and released this statement from the actor: "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it any more."

Bragman did not elaborate on the statement, a reference to the 1976 film Network.

The cast was notified Thursday night of the final decision, which, says a source close to the situation, was a long time coming. In the end, the source says, Washington's behavior made him a liability.

Rumors ran rampant following the season finale – during which Washington's character, Dr. Preston Burke, broke up with his fiancιe, Christina Yang (Sandra Oh), and moved out of their apartment – that Washington would not be returning.

The actor first came under fire last fall after getting into an altercation with Patrick Dempsey, during which he allegedly referred to castmate T.R. Knight with a homophobic slur.

Washington later apologized, checked into rehab, met with gay leaders and recently released a PSA decrying the use of hate speech.

Desperate Housewives actor Dougray Scott and actress Claire Forlani wed in a private civil ceremony in Italy on Friday, PEOPLE has learned.

"They're both very excited," a source says about the newlyweds.

Forlani wore a custom-made strapless gown with a "classic, Old Hollywood feel" by designer Junko Yoshioka for Bonaparte-NY, says the source. She completed her look with a crystal hair pin by Swarovski and Jimmy Choo heels.

The bride's father, Pierluigi, is Italian and helped his daughter plan the festivities for more than 100 guests. He told Italian newspaper Il Resto del Carlino that, at the reception at the family's country home in Pievebovigliana, "I will be the official cook of the event."

The couple met a year and a half ago through a mutual friend. Scott, 41, proposed to Forlani, 35, in Los Angeles in September. "It was very romantic," Scott, who presented Forlani with a ring he designed, told PEOPLE. "I feel so lucky to have met her. She's an amazing actress and human being. I'm very happy."

Scott recently played Teri Hatcher's love interest on Housewives. Next up for the Scottish actor, who also starred in Mission: Impossible II, is the World War II movie The Cone Gatherer with Emily Watson.

Forlani has a recurring role on CSI: New York. She's also appeared in films including Mallrats and Meet Joe Black.

Jennifer Aniston's new man, Paul Sculfor, was spotted having dinner with Victoria Beckham this weekend in L.A., with her reality-show cameras rolling. So what gives?

"He's just an ex-boyfriend of a friend," Beckham's rep tells PEOPLE.

Sculfor, 36, a British model whom Aniston, 38, has been dating for several weeks, was photographed trailing Beckham's entourage outside the Saddle Ranch Chop House in West Hollywood before sitting down with the former Posh Spice for a meal on Saturday.

It turns out that Beckham's lifelong pal, makeup artist Maria-Louise Featherstone, 34, dated Sculfor when they both were growing up in London's outs***ts.

(Featherstone was responsible for giving Beckham's soccer star husband David a blonde-tipped mohawk in 2002.)

"Maria-Louise and Paul remained friends after they split," another pal tells PEOPLE. "Victoria knew Paul when the two were dating. She hasn't seen him for about 10 years so it was a great chance to catch up."

While Beckham, 33, dined with Sculfor, cameras filmed the encounter for her upcoming reality show about her move to L.A. next month with David, 32, and their three son
