I'd say either a republic or socialism. I honestly don't like Mohammad reza Shah. He was too weak and self-conceited. His father Reza Shah may have been a harsh tyrant, but was more over a visionary leader who developed Iran and fueled its nationalism. I also hate those ppl that say America and the UK are out to help us. They are largely responsible for a lot of what happened in Iran, and can only be counted on to look out for their own vested interests. Iran must develop a greater social state from within, if we wait for others we become their servants.
This reminds me of the fable of HatimTai. Hatim Tai was very generous, he never suckled on his mother's breast unless her mother gave milk to two babies. Growing up he inherited a lot of money, but continued in his generosity. One day he told the ppl of a village that they need not work the day, for he would pay for their dinner meal. The ppl rejoiced and prepared to have a ceremoney. They waited, meanwhile, as there was no sign of Hatim tai. One man continued working late into the night. As Hatim Tai was sprinting to town, releasing he was monumentally late he saw the old man talking and asked what he was doing, and if he knew about the free dinner. The man replied that if he worked he did not have to wait for Hatim Tai;he could eat earlier if he chose. And if he chose to eat with Hatim Tai, then the spare money he made would not hurt.
And so being resilient and independent helped the hard-working man in dealing with someone as good-hearted as Hatim Tai. When your dealing with countries that are only concerned in their prospective interests it becomes ever more important to be Independent. Thus looking to foreign aid will not solve Iran's issues, it will inflame them.
