1.The Sony Playstation 3 will be launched in all three territories (US, UK, JPN) between 11th - 17th November 2006.

3.The delay is essentially due to the agreement on copyright technology standards for Blu-Ray. It is also possible that other factors such as licensing, infrastructure and services are playing a part too.

4.PS3 will use a 60GB 2.5-inch hard disc drive (HDD) running Linux for home server applications.

5.The Playstation 3 will use Blu-Ray media, yet will still play DVD and CD media. Electronic downloads and services will also play a large part of a gaming / internet / entertainment service.

6. It is highly likely that Sony will refine the design of both the console and controller.

7. Expect the system to launch with 10 - 15 games along with several specially enhanced film titles on Blu-Ray media.

8. A PSP firmware / software update will be required for special functionality with PS3.

9. The Playstation 3 will have revolutionary interface system.

10. 1 Million units will be manufactured for launch, and a further 5 Million by the end of March 2007.
