              The old things have not disappeared. They still exist alongside the new ones. I was in Tehran last summer and found that northern part of the city can be compared with US cities while southern part makes a good representative of any developing courtries' shabby town.

                yeah its true. vali i go to Iran- tehran every year or every 2 years and everytime i notice changes that the city is developing hugely! The building works never end! its the new New York lol

                    i think tehran should definately develop, but without losing sight of how it was before development (keep some of the old buildings as a reminder of the past). I love the pics you put up redwine! i really wish i could go to iran this summer
