"گوگل" اعلام كرد اين شركت بر اساس سياستهاي جديد خود، نحوه ثبت اطلاعات مربوط به كليدواژه*هاي جستجو شده در موتور جستجوي اين شكرت توسط كاربران را تغيير مي*دهد.

به گزارش سايت اينترنتي "پي*سي*ورلد"، در گذشته شركت گوگل با ثبت آدرس "آي*پي" رايانه*هاي استفاده*كننده از موتور جستجوي خود، اين مطلب را كه هر رايانه تاكنون چه كليدواژه*هايي را جستجو كرده*است، ثبت مي*كرد اما بر اساس سياستهاي جديد، "گوگل" همچنان فهرست كليدواژه*هاي مورد استفاده كاربران را به شكل دايمي ثبت مي*كند اما ‪ ۱۸‬تا ‪ ۲۴‬ماه پس از هر جستجو، اين اطلاعات كه جستجوي مذكور از كدام رايانه انجام شده*است را حذف مي*كند.

اقدام جديد مورد حمايت كارشناسي قرار گرفته*است كه عقيده دارند موتورهاي جستجو با ثبت كليدواژه*هاي جستجو شده توسط كاربران، امنيت كاربران را به خطر مي*اندازند. شركت "گوگل" در گذشته بارها اعلام كرده*است كه اين اطلاعات را در اختيار هيچ سازمان دولتي و امنيتي قرار نمي*دهد و به علاوه از رايانه*هاي سرور ذخيره*كننده اين اطلاعات به بهترين شكل ممكن در برابر نفوذ هكرها حفاظت مي*كند.

اين درحالي است كه دو موتور جستجوي "ياهو" و "ام*اس*ان" شركت "مايكروسافت" در گذشته با درخواست مقامات آمريكايي، اطلاعات مربوط به كليد واژه*هاي مورد استفاده كاربران را به دولت اين كشور ارائه كرده*اند.

سال گذشته يكي از وب سايتهاي شركت "اي*اوال"، داراي يكي از
پركاربرترين موتورهاي جستجوي اينترنت، بيش از ‪ ۶۵۸‬هزار كليد واژه مورد استفاده حدود ‪ ۱۹‬ميليون كاربر موتور جستجوي اين شركت را به اشتباه در معرض ديد عموم قرار دارد كه اين اقدام با انتقاد شديد برخي شركتهاي امنيتي، شركت "گوگل" و حتي نشريه "نيويورك تايمز" مواجه شد.

پس از لو رفتن اين اطلاعات در اينترنت، نشريه "نيويوريك تايمز" در گزارشي جنجالي نشان داد با كنارهم قرار دادن كليدواژه*هاي مورد استفاده برخي كاربران حتي مي*توان به هويت آنها پي*برد.

در فهرست منتشر شده توسط "اي*اوال"، همه نوع كليد واژه، حتي كليد واژه*هايي براي جستجوي اطلاعات در زمينه چگونگي ساخت ابزار ارتكاب قتل و كليد واژه*هايي براي جستجوي تصاوير غيراخلاقي به چشم مي*خورد.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG and LSE: GGEA) is an American public corporation, specializing in Internet search and online advertising. The company had 10,674 full-time employees as of December 31, 2006, and is based in Mountain View, California. Google's mission statement is "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."[3]

Google was co-founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were students at Stanford University, and the company was first incorporated as a privately held company on September 7, 1998. Google's initial public offering took place on August 19, 2004, raising $1.67 billion, making it worth $23 billion.[4] The company grew rapidly since its IPO, acquiring smaller companies such as Writely, JotSpot, and online video sharing site YouTube in 2006, and moving into the office software market with the release of its Google Apps Premium Edition in 2007. Additionally, Google is also involved in many cooperational partnerships with other corporations, such as NASA, Sun Microsystems, Time Warner's America Online, and NewsCorp's MySpace.

Like most large corporations, Google's businesses have drawn some controversy, such as copyright disputes in its book search project, or accusations of censorship of search results as it works with countries such as France, Germany, and China. Additionally, in the post September 11 era, several governments have raised concerns about the security risks posed by geographic details provided by Google Earth's satellite imaging.[5]

Google is particularly known for its relaxed corporate culture. Their corporate philosophy is based on many casual principles including, "You can make money without doing evil", "You can be serious without a suit," and "Work should be challenging and the challenge should be fun." This relaxed culture can also be seen externally through their holiday variations of the Google logo, as well as their various hoaxes and April Fool's Day jokes.

The name "Google" originated from a misspelling of "googol,"[6][7] which refers to 10100 (the number represented by a 1 followed by one-hundred zeros). Having found its way increasingly into everyday language, the verb, "google," was added to the Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary and the Oxford English Dictionary in 2006, meaning, "to use the Google search engine to obtain information on the Internet.

Advertising

Most of Google's revenue is derived from its online advertising programs.Google AdWords allows Web advertisers to display advertisements in Google's search results and the Google Content Network, through either a cost-per-click or cost-per-view scheme. Google is well-known for its web search service, which is a major factor of the company's success. As of December, 2006, Google is the most used search engine on the web with a 50.8% market share, ahead of Yahoo! (23.6%) and Windows Live Search (8.4%).Google indexes billions of Web pages, so that users can search for the information they desire, through the use of keywords and operators. Google has also employed the Web Search technology into other search services, including Image Search, Google News, the price comparison site Froogle, the interactive Usenet archive Google Groups, Google Maps and more.

In 2004, Google launched its own free web-based email service, known as Gmail.Gmail features spam filtering technology and the capability to use Google technology to search email. The service generates revenue by displaying advertisements from the AdWords service that are tailored to the content of the email messages displayed on screen.

In early 2006, the company launched Google Video, which not only allows users to search and view freely available videos, but also offers users and media publishers the ability to publish their content, including television shows on CBS, NBA basketball games, and music videos.

Google has also developed several desktop applications, including Google Earth, an interactive mapping program powered by satellite imagery.

Many other products are available through Google Labs, which is a collection of incomplete applications, that are still being tested for use by the general public.

Google has promoted their products in various ways. In London, Google Space was set-up in Heathrow Airport, showcasing several products, including Gmail, Google Earth and Picasa.Also, a similar page was launched for American college students, under the name College Life, Powered by Google.

In 2007, Google launched Google Apps Premium Edition, a software suite for businesses that provides e-mail, instant messaging, calendar, word processing, as well as a spreadsheet program.This product is targeted primarily at the business user, and intended to compete directly versus Microsoft's Office suite, with a price of approximately $50 per user per year compared to $500 per user for Microsoft Office.A large implementation of Google Apps with 38,000 users is at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

IPO and culture

Many people speculated that Google's IPO would inevitably lead to changes in the company's culture, because of shareholder pressure for employee benefit reductions and short-term advances, or because a large number of the company's employees would suddenly become millionaires on paper. In a report given to potential investors, co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page promised that the IPO would not change the company's culture. Later Mr. Page said, "We think a lot about how to maintain our culture and the fun elements. We spent a lot of time getting our offices right. We think it's important to have a high density of people. People are packed together everywhere. We all share offices. We like this set of buildings because it's more like a densely packed university campus than a typical suburban office park."

However, many analysts are finding that as Google grows the company is becoming more "corporate". In 2005, articles in The New York Times and other sources began suggesting that Google had lost its anti-corporate, no evil philosophy.

Google Phone

Various reports have said that Google is planning the release of its own mobile phone, perhaps a competitor to Apple's iPhone . The project may be a collaboration between Google and Orange, HTC or Samsung or another manufacturer. However, very little is known about the project and most of the information available is speculation.

elgooG

elgooG is a mirror image (a flipped around image version) of the Google search engine. The search page and all results are displayed in reverse. The site is called the "google mirror" as a parody of the term mirror in computing, which usually refers to a copy or backup of another website. The site was created by a group called All Too Flat, who put up various comedy and satire pages on their website. Google was not involved in the creation of elgooG.

اما همانطور که در بالا مشاهد کردید شرکت گوگل تا به حال فقط در زمینه‏ی نرم‏افزار فعال بوده است. محصول جدید گوگل با نام TiSP و یا Toilet Internet Service Provider، اولین محصول سخت‏افزاری شرکت گوگل است.
این محصول که اینترنت بی‏سیم (Wireless Internet) را در خانه‏ی افراد فراهم می کند، مانند بسیاری دیگر از محصولات گوگل رایگان است و از طریق شبکه‏ی فاضلاب شهری اینترنت را به خانه‏ها می‏برد.
افراد پس از ثبت نام برای این محصول بسته‏ای شامل کابل فیبر نوری، Spindle، Wireless Router، لوح فشرده‏ی راه‏انداز و راهنمای نصب -بصورت رایگان- دریافت می‏کنند. نحوه‏ی کار بدین صورت است که سامانه‏ی TiSP
در آزمایشاتی که شرکت گوگل به انجام رسانده است، سرعت انتقال اطلاعات در دستگاه TiSP تا 10 برابر سرعت DSL می‏باشد.نیازمندی‏های این سیستم عبارتند از:
ویندوز ویستا یا اکس‏پی (البته مکینتاش و لینوکس هم به زودی پشتیبانی خواهند شد)
Internet Explorer 6.0 یا Firefox 1.5 یا نسخه‏های بالاترشان که دارای Google Toolbar باشند به عنوان مرورگر اینترنت (Internet Browser)
سنگ توالت گرد با دهانه‏ای که حداقل یک گالون آب را در هر فلاش خارج نماید.
از نکات قابل توجه این است که حداکثر یک ساعت پس از نصب این بسته، اینترنت در دسترس کاربران این سامانه قرار می‏گیرد.
اگر چه این سامانه می‏تواند به صورت سیمی (Wireful) هم استفاده شود، اما به شدت سفارش می‏شود که از امکانات بی‏سیم استفاده گردد چرا که از نظر تعداد کاربران محدودیت یک کاربر و از نظر موقعیتی هم محدودیت حضور در دستشویی را که در سیستم‏های سیمی وجود دارد، ندارد. با استفاده از سیستم‏های بی‏سیم هر تعداد کاربر از هر جایی از منزل می‏توانند از اینترنت استفاده نمایند.
این محصول گوگل با سه پهنای باند مختلف برای کاربران با قیمت‏های زیر ارائه می‏گردد.

نکته‏ی دیگری که نباید فراموش کرد این است که به کاربران این سیستم توصیه می‏گردد که از تمیزکننده‏های خودکار برای شستشوی سنگ توالت استفاده نکنند.

از دیگر امکاناتی که این سیستم داراست امکان تحویل کالاهای خریداری شده در Google Checkout در حمام منزل می‏باشد. کالاهای خریداری شده در بسته‏های پلاستیکی ساخته شده از ذرت که غیر قابل تجزیه هستند و نانو روبات‏ها هم نمی‏توانند به آن نفوذ نمایند، بسته بندی و از طریق شبکه‏ی فاضلاب شهری به منازل ارسال می‏گردند.

اما پرسشی که مطرح می‏شود این است که منبع درآمد این محصول چیست؟ در پاسخ باید گفت باز هم تبلیغات گوگل، به این صورت که بر اساس تحلیل‏های صورت گرفته بر روی DNA، رژیم غذایی و مواردی از این دست، گوگل تبلیغاتی را در میان نتایج جستجوی افراد قرار می‏دهد. البته به احتمال زیاد منابع درآمد دیگری هم وجود دارد که گوگل از افشای آن‏ها خودداری کرده‏ است، اما مطمئناً با خط‏مشی شرکت گوگل در حفظ حریم خصوصی افراد مغایرت ندارد.
نویسنده: به احتمال زیاد در آینده‏ای نزدیک شاهد ظهور سنگ توالت‏های مخصوصی برای این محصول جدید در کشورهای آمریکایی خواهیم بود. ضمناً یادآور می‏شوم، از آنجه که این خبر در تاریخ اول آوریل 2007 منتشر شده است بخشی از آن را باید دروغ اول آوریل شرکت گوگل به شمار آورد.
