Parisa Shariat Panahi is born in Iran. She has been painting for a number of years. She has a B.A in Graphic design and is now working on her M.A, with a thesis named 'Art Research'. She is also writing a reseach book about Persian miniature paintings. She says 'My style is something between modern and traditional, or between abstract and figurative. I'm influenced by traditional Japanese and Chinese paintings, woodblock prints and Persian miniature and also Western modern paintings.' There are also clear influences by Persian history and epics. He says she likes many different painters such as Picasso, Kandinski, Klimt, and Chagal.
