Woolworths is so confident Prince William will marry Kate Middleton that it has produced wedding souvenirs despite no date being set.
The high street chain could have 100,000 items on sale including tea towels, mugs, plates and a special edition mobile phone within 48 hours of any announcement.
The commemorative plates will be white with an elaborate gold trim and have a shoulder-length shot of William, dressed in a black dinner jacket, white shirt and white bow tie, next to a picture of Ms Middleton who sports a stylish feather hat.
Under the pictures is the message: "Celebrating the Royal marriage of William and Kate," with the space for the date.
There will also be plastic dolls of the couple, mouse mats, fluffy slippers, wine glasses, thimbles and even a special pic 'n' mix range of sweets.
William and Kate, both 24, met at the University of St Andrews in Scotland and shared a house together with friends.
Last year, Woolworths missed out on multi-million pound sales because of the short engagement of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
In September, bookmaker William Hill halved the odds on Prince William and Ms Middleton getting engaged before the end of 2006 to 3-1.
The bookmaker said there was a flurry of bets after a bikini-clad Kate was pictured in Ibiza with the second in line to the throne.
