I need a laptop recomandation

i need a laptop that i can just throw in my back pack and dont worry about.
Somthing durabale i mean not army standard but just somthing good.

I want it to be cheap
a used one.
I am a pc person but i think the G4 ibook are good the older ones i think i can fined oone for like 300-400
what would be a pc equivilant of that
