  • How to Meet a Celebrity

Meeting a celebrity is not as easy as it looks. Well....it may not look easy....but anyways...it's going to take determination.

    Steps

First, remember that when you meet (metro station), you must be cool and casual, although your mind may not be so calm. Just remember that celebrities are normal people with extraordinary gifts and talents (well, usually).

If you have to sneak: Look at the floor plan of the location and find where backstage is. Try to spot the people who walk around and give out backstage passes.

Remember that when you are introduced to the celebrity, take 3 deep breaths so you do not faint or get a panic attack. Just take three breaths, and then state your name. The celebrity will most likely shake your hand and ask your name. Remember that they do this all the time and that even your worst reaction would be normal for them.

    Make conversation.

When you are done meeting them, you should give yourself a pat on the back! You have done your job!

    Tips

If a celebrity wants to meet you again sometime, just say your phone number and then shake their hand. If you do meet again...

Remember the steps above and just stay true to yourself.

Be yourself. Celebs hate it when people act phony around them because they are famous.
If you're meeting someone in a band, go to their shows early and stay late. Find out where the tour buses are parked. Make friends with the people around you; you'll never know what connections they'll have.

Go to a concert with any artist you enjoy and try to sit near or stand near the stage.

    Warnings

Try not to get into a fight with another fan. Most chances are that others are just as excited and anxious to meet the star, so don't push or interrupt them.
    Watch out for the security/entourage.

Celebrity worship is really unhealthy. Don't take it overboard. Celebrities are not the most important things; they're just regular people. Make sure you pay attention to the more important things in your life.

Don't be fooled by the media, the star could be different in real life.

    Don't run after that celebrity.

Make sure you treat that celebrity like a normal person.
Snotty behavior performed by some of the celebrities are sometimes very dangerous, unhealthy, and can get you in trouble with the law.

A non-celebrity would get in more trouble than a celebrity when breaking the law because celebrities have enough money to pay their way through the punishments. Don't be shallow. Sure celebrities can be rich and usually beautiful, but many of them are bad role models. Look at them on the inside.
