Oliver Stone "Alexander" and Persians in Hollywood
Rosari Dawson plays Roxxana the Persian Princess ia in "Alexander" by Oliver Stone. She is partly african. Rosari Dawson is supposed to play a Persian girl similar to Shermine Shahrivar who was Miss Germany in 2005. In reality Roxxana was a Persian princess from Sogdia and who may have been as blond as Alexander as she was a north eastern Persian Princess. Why a partly African actor plays a Persian girl? Are Africans some way related to Persians. As we will see Hollywood thinks so.
Hollywood Mixes up two different ethnic groups in Iran and present one as the other. The two major ethnic groups in Iran are Persians and Azeri Turks.
There is no ethnic group called Iranian in Iran. Iranians just means all citizens of Iran.
