Hmm... but DokhtarIrooni, the film makes Persians look like they are vahshi/heyvoon, which is not the case. Even though i didnt see the film (i only saw bits of it) it made me angry.
It was the Persians who first drew up the Human Rights charter... im sure u know this.

you know none of these e protests matter! it's all about money and business. Proper academic institutes will continue to call it by it's proper name, the persian gulf, business institutes will call it the arabian gulf (like British airways as we FLEW over iranian waters) so imo just let it go.

i guess everyones different. i take the totally different approach. like, even if im talking to an old iranian man and he says "farsi" i interrupt (i dont care if hes in the middle of talking) and i just say something like "dary ba arabaa komak mikoni?" (because its Parsi, not Farsi).


and the reason why i just said that is because pan arabists are trying to stamp out the persian culture by 1 - changing the name of the persian gulf, and 2- trying to refer to it as "farsi" when the correct version is "parsi".

yeah i know they made iranians look bad, but come on its JUST A MOVIE!! Since when all movies are true? and in how many iranian films do they talk crap about america? i know its not the same as a hollywood movie, but its still something because they are doing the same thing. Listen, if we seriously sit on our arses thinking everything is going to be alright and fix itself out in time, then we'll simply get raped (Our culture and everything we stand for)... We need to take a stand against these TAzis and other Anti-Iranian losers out there.

I some what agree with you on the film, but the average American will take that film as a historical document, that's how dumb and simple-minded they are.... it doesn't matter how big or small it is, if any Anti-Iranian material comes out we should and will protest.

personally, If it was up to me , I would go to frank miller and crack his skull open.
