it depends on what kind of guy/girl u r talking about. every person would need a different approach. the basic is one is to start a conversation about something you both know about, and then casually ask personal questions (likes/dislikes), etc.
to me the most intriguing way is to have a guy introduced to me who i know has a crush on me. this way i'm in a favorable position, coz i know he already likes me. which is not always the case, right?
one more thing just smile at them, that makes a big difference, some flirting helps too, just don't push it too far.
what exactly r u trying to do? get to know a guy or smth?
