i have a question...if ur in a relationship,why is it so difficult to love ( i mean realy love, not to just like) a non-persian? i wanna know is it just me or all the pesians are like this? cuz i can never love a non-persian guy,maybe i like them a lot, but never love them, ever...

I think indirectly it is because we are always told by our parents that we should marry other Iranians. So I think when it comes to loving someone, we normally think it should lead to marriage if it is love but then again, he/she is not Iranian and so we keep dissociating ourselves from finding the so called 'love' with that person.

I think it could be that, yet I am sure some people do not think this way.

I agree that we are brought up to marry somebody from our culture or even with one of the relatives. knowing difficulties (language, culture, living in different country, raising our children,...) associated with the marriage of non-persian person or our experience and observation in our life may prevent us of love a non-persian person. It also could be related to the different religion. As we grow up we were told man can marry with girls of different religion while girls can not......
I found this is very much true with Iranian girls that have difficulties of loving non-persian man.

lol, my dear bf was persian, but well we broke up. hala chera in soal vasam pish oomad? hamishe be bf haye non-persianam feghat ye alagheye mamooly dashtam, vali ye pesare irooni... thats what i'll realy fall for.

I think to start a relation there should be some common between them,
Whether its a friendship, love ...
And depends on the people and their nation it could be vary
I guess for Persian people language, native or culture is so important!!!!

for me I could have a cool time with my non-Persian mates but I would not enjoy it as much as the time I'm with my Persian friends.

if you go out with a iranian guy, it is so easier to talk to them because you know that he has the same exp. but when you go out with a non persian and he ask you what your favorite food is you can't say abgoosht b/c he doesn't understand. it is so hard to interact with a non persian when you have been brought up in a persian household.
