People are often unreasonable,
irrational, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.


If you are kind, people may accuse
you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.


If you are successful, you will win some
unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies;
Succeed anyway.



If you are honest and sincere
people may deceive you;
Be honest and sincere anyway.



What you spend years creating
others could destroy overnight;
Create anyway.



If you find serenity and happiness,
some may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.



The good you do today,
will often be forgotten.
Do good anyway.



Give the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give your best anyway.



In the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway

از خدا خواستم عادتهای زشت را ترکم بدهد
خدا فرمود: خودت بايد آنها را رها کنی

I asked God to take away my habit
God said, no
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up

از او درخواست کردم فرزند معلولم را شفا دهد
فرمود: لازم نيست، روحش سالم است، جسم هم که موقت است

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole
God said, no
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary

از او خواستم لااقل به من صبر عطا کند
فرمود: صبر، حاصل سختی و رنج است. عطا کردنی نيست، آموختنی است

I asked God to grant me patience
God said, no
Patience is a byproduct of tribulation. It isn't granted, it is learned

گفتم: مرا خوشبخت کن

I asked God to give me happiness
God said, no
I give you blessings; happiness is up to you

از او خواستم مرا گرفتار درد و عذاب نکند
فرمود: رنج از دلبستگیهای دنيايی جدا و به من نزديکترت میکند

I asked God to spare me pain

God said, no

Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me

از او خواستم روحم را رشد دهد
فرمود: نه، تو خودت بايد رشد کنی
من فقط شاخ و برگ اضافیات را هرس میکنم تا بارور شوی

I asked God to make my spirit grow
God said, no
You must grow on yours own! But I will prune you to make you fruitful

از خدا خواستم کاری کند که از زندگی لذت کامل ببرم

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life
God said, no.
I will give you life. So that you may enjoy all things

از خدا خواستم کمکم کند همان قدر که او مرا دوست دارد، من هم ديگران را دوست بدارم.
خدا فرمود: آها، بالاخره اصل مطلب دستگيرت شد

I asked God to help me love others, as much as He loves me

روزی مردی خواب عجیبی دید. او دید که پیش فرشته هاست و به کارهای آنها نگاه می کند.هنگام ورود جمع بزرگی از فرشته ها را دید که مشغول کارند .و تند تند نامه هایی که توسط پیک به زمین می رسند را باز می کنند .و آنها را داخل جعبه می گذارند . مرد از فرشته پرسید .شما چه کار می کنید ؟ فرشته در حالی که داشت نامه را باز می کرد گفت این جا بخش دریافت است.ما دعاها و تقاضاهای مردم از خداوند را اینجا تحویل می گیریم .
مرد باز جلوتر رفت .تعدادی ازفرشتگان را دید که کاغذهایی را داخل پاکت می گذارند و آنها را توسط پیک هایی به زمین می فرستند.مرد پرسید شما چه کار می کنید ؟یکی از فرشتگان گفت اینجا بخش ارسال است.ما الطاف و رحمت های خداوندی را برای بندگان می فرستیم .
مرد کمی جلوتر رفت و دید فرشته ای بیکار نشسته است . مرد با تعجب پرسید شما چرا بیکارید ؟فرشته پاسخ داد اینجا بخش تصدیق جواب است. مردمی که جوابشان مستجاب شده است باید جواب بفرستند.ولی تنها عده بسیار کمی پاسخ می فرستند.
مرد از فرشته پرسید : مردم چگونه می توانند جواب بفرستند ؟فرشته پاسخ داد بسیار ساده است .فقط کافی است بگویند خدا یا شکر

Stop and ask yourself today, "How do I really feel about myself? " Before you answer read these ten principles.

Better yet, keep them before you daily.

(1) Never think or speak negatively about yourself; that puts you in disagreement with God.

(2) Meditate on your God-given strengths and learn to encourage yourself, for much of the time nobody else will.

(3) Don't compare yourself to anybody else. You're unique, one of a kind, an original. So don't settle for being a copy.

(4) Focus on your potential, not your limitations. Remember, God lives in you!

(5) Find what you like to do, do well, and strive to do it with excellence.

(6) Have the courage to be different. Be a God pleaser, not a people pleaser.

(7) Learn to handle criticism. Let it develop you instead of discourage you.

********

( Determine your own worth instead of letting others do it for you. They'll short-change you!

(9) Keep your shortcomings in perspective - you're still a work in progress.

(10) Focus daily on your greatest source of confidence - the God Who lives in you!
