Okay, this is probably going to end up being contaversial but oh well.
I know that there's some good rap, Christain rap, clean rap, etc. But it's all been overtaken by obscene disgusting lyrics:

Killing, stealing, cussing, and prostitution is all I ever hear in rap now. All my freinds listen to it and say that there's nothing wrong with it but there IS something wrong with it. Their getting in trouble for doing obscene things and mouthing off to teacher. And most of my male freinds defiently don't treat women with respect.

Do you really want your children knowing about sex and drugs before they turn 10?

i guess that rap is ruining many ppls life . They use rude words and stuff.
The thing that makes it even worser is the video clips . Its all adult stuff.

the rappers not only effect western ppl but also effect all ppl around the world.

unfortunately rap is growing very fast and i personally listen to it when im in the mood.

Personally I like rap (not as much as Persian though ), especially the violent gangsta rap. Yet I never fight with anyone, I've never done any drugs or anything else. I think violent rap is a good release for the more violent aspects as of one's self. The only reason ppl diss rap, and not heavy rock, which I like too, is becuz they listen to it so it is ok. Let me make this clear

RAP, HEAVY ROCK, VIDEO GAMES OR WHATEVER ELSE DO NOT CORRUPT PEOPLE, PEOPLE CORRUPT THEMSELVES

We can keep blaming it on rap or guns or whatever. Or we can look at the actual causes, abuse, poverty, and most importantly are own choices. Those people who mouth off and treat women badly do it, not cause of rap, but because of what they harbor inside themselves.

BTW rappers sing about thug life, prostitution and drugs because this is what life has become in the desolate parts of society. I agree with IQ, West coast!

BTW if you've ever heard underground rap songs (those too violent for the radio and mainstream) those are a lot more violent. If you've ever heard Geto Boys Declaration of War or Mausberg's Ring King.

I also see Iranians, in Iran, who go to mosques, pray, act like Arabs, and then do totally unreligious stuff at home. To me it is ALL THE SAME.
