I am not Persian, nor do I speak Farsi, but I do get most of the Persian channels, and from watching some of their music videos, commercials, etc. I've noticed one underlying thing: Persians love dance music!
Most of the Persian videos (e.g. by Andy, Shahrooz, etc) are eurodance / eurotrance with strong Persian elements.
The commercials and show introductions, etc. play dance music all the time! Whether it's ATB or O-Zone on the above, it seems like Persians in the U.S. (and elsewhere) like dance music far more than the average American. Most kids I know would rather listen to 50 Cent or Gwen Stefani, but I prefer dancem music.
My question: Why is this?
