Hey did you guys know there are pop bannds in Iran. I had no idea. That is so cool. I just heared some of there song it is verygood too.

Of course its underground! trust me they arent having concerts out toyeh meydoone azadi alot of the music ppl have been posting in the music section is from singers in Iran. they are doing a great job, considering they arent even supposed to be singing. Dameshoon garm!

check this out : http://www.o-hum.com/ , this is the official website of o-hum band, a very nice hard-rock band, which started it's own special music back home .They were the very first hard-rockers in the country and are mostly known for using rich lyrics of hafez.They were about to have their first public concert , about a couple of years ago, when the concert was canceled with out any reason(!!!!!!)

They now pursuit their carieer in music in canada.

There are some other official bands like Arian, Sunboys, ... which are "approved" by the goverment and are sort of okay.

FYI, the government is not so strict when it comes to music, however they don't "officially" let rock bands preform in public!
