Arsalan Nami was born on May 21st, 1984 in Shiraz, Iran. Since childhood he got away with, being loud due to his innocent, good looks. He always loved performing in front of people. He moved to Sweden at the age of 4. He acquired his talents listening to his older brother playing the oriental keyboard and later on watching, dancing and dreaming to become a performer like his first idol "Michael Jackson".
He was always the favored child to perform in parties. He continued to develop his talents until he finally was able to get soft rock and hip hop rap in a comfortable manner. He now calls the stage his home.
Where and when was your first performance? And do you have any memory of that?
Arsalan Nami: I was told that when I was around 9-10 months I started baby sing and it was at "Golzare Kodak" kindergarden in Shiraz , where I was turned into a love performing in any style in front of people.
Tell us a little about how you got started with music?
AN: Getting into highschool, my teacher offered me to start playing guitar and taking my voice to another level. The 2 first songs I learned was "Again" song by Lenny Kravitz and Hero by Enrique Iglesias. I performed both songs at High-Schools full-seated concert which took place at schools auditorium. My voice touched a lot of the students and teacher's hearts, and I was told to participate on "Aiming at Stars", a talent show program televised on national television of Sweden singing live on TV. After 2 auditions where 2400 people participated I became on of the 45 to enter the show and singing "Hero" live, where I ended up in 2nd place.
What is your motivation to succeed in music?
AN: I think I've been given a talent from god and I will use it well and no matter what happens in life, I won't give up the music because if I do then I stop breathing.
How and when did the doors open for you?
AN: TV appearance opened alot of doors and gave me a lot of gigs at festivals and shows around the country. Where I later on even started a music band to perform all over in Sweden
What are you doing now and what do you have planned next?
AN: I am also doing my last year at Music Institute in Sweden and moving to Los Angeles this summer to continue with music at Santa Monica College. And fortunately sign up with a Record Company.

AN: I am debuting as a Singer & Songwriter. All my music & all instruments have been written played and produced by myself. Instruments such as, Guitar, synthesizer, bass, and percussion. I have also directed and produced my own Music Video for my song "Heaven Knows" Which is being showed at places such as PMC TV, ****.com, www.arsi.tk, Nylamagazine and so on.
What are some of the upcoming projects or events that you have planned in the near future?
AN: I'm directing my second music video also, to my song "Hamishe Forever" Planning tours for summer and also trying to get rid of my old clothes because I am moving to L.A this summer.
A big dream-come-true for you in this field?
AN: To have a big concert in front of millions where all the money goes to the needed people, a charity!
Where is your favorite place to play and why?
AN: As soon as I step on the stage, that stage becomes my favorite place, is what I call "HOME".
What is you favorite Sport?
AN: My favorite Sport is basketball, I played it since I was 8 years old, and I'm still playing.

AN: A boat full of food. Joking , Well, hmm, my guitar, Pen and a pad
What is your message to Iranians?
AN: No matter where you go or what you do, Always keep your head up and aim at your goal and don't ever let anybody keep you from reaching your dreams or wills.
