The first album was Happy Birthday, the first hit was Asal. More than a decade and a half ago Davood Behboodi wooed young Iranian females from around the globe, indulging in their "honey colored eyes".

Several albums and many female-named titles later, he is still going strong. With the release of his latest album, Tannaz, Behboodi seems to have the female segment of the population covered. Thanks to an innovative but simple business strategy.
