Soon after, Sansa displayed her range by taking lead roles in such films as the taut criminal thriller LUPO MANNORO, the gonzo lesbian love story GASOLINE (BENZINA), and the dour romance NELLA TERRA DI NESSUNO.

Her busiest year came in 2003, when Sansa appeared in two films, THE BEST OF YOUTH (LA MEGLIO GIOVENTU) which won the 'Un Certain Regard Award' at Cannes and IL VESTITO DA SPOSA, before reuniting with Marco Bellochio for GOODMORNING, NIGHT.

She also has just recently completed her starring role as Maria in her English language debut, THE LISTENING, playing alongside Michael Parks.

Her French Film Debut 'Les Femmes de L'Ombre' is currently being shot in Paris opposite Sophie Marceau, Julie Depardieu, Marie Gillain and Moritz Bleibtreu (who played Malik Shah in Kayvan Mashayekh's independant Epic The Keeper: The Legend of Omar Khayyam)
