in my opinion if a person is born muslim or any other religion will still be a muslim or other religion unless that person decide to change his/her religion by themselves, but i think that religion is like your name when you were born you get a name and that will still be with you even after you grow up but this is also up to that person to change it or not.

If you are "born" a Muslim but you never practice Islam, in my opinion you are not a Muslim. In other words, aside from adopting a formality, you can't be born a Muslim. You would have to actually believe in Islam in your real life.... If you don't believe in Islam (even if you don't believe in other religions), how can you be a Muslim by default? You are who YOU are, not what some paper tells you.Last edited by zubin; 08-20-2007, 02:47 PM.Take him and cut him out in little stars,

well we are not saying that papers tells us what to do, if you were born muslim or any other religions u are still a muslim or anything else, even if you dont practice or believe in it however it is in ur heart u dont have to pray or do many other things so that u can prove ur muslim or anyother religion whats in ur heart that matters not by showing off, once again in my point of view.

If you were born Muslim then you are a Muslim no matter if your parents were religious or not. If you want to change your religion later, then this is your decision wheather you wanna change or not. As Malous said, your religion in ur heart no matter if you practice or not!!

If someone is born a Muslim and believes in Islam, then they are a Muslim. But if someone is born a Muslim but does not believe in it, they do not need to change their piece of paper to say they are not a Muslim. That's what I'm saying. I'd be interested if you disagree...Last edited by zubin; 08-21-2007, 12:16 PM.Take him and cut him out in little stars,

bebeen, if your dad was born Muslim, but was not religious, you might or might not be a Muslim, depending on whether you have faith in Islam.

what are you talking about? even if your dad for example is muslim and doesnt practice it then he is still a muslim doesnt matter you practice or not all it matters is that you were born with it and you have it in ur heart. mohem nist ke beshini namaz bekhooni vo khialy karaye dige anjam bedi ke be hame neshoon bedi ke muslim hasty ya na, khoda nagofte ke bayad inkaro konin ke muslim bashin va agar inkaro nakonin ya be ghole khodet parctice nakonin ur not muslimOriginally posted by joubin View Postbebeen, if your dad was born Muslim, but was not religious, you might or might not be a Muslim, depending on whether you have faith in Islam.

but that's my point, in some cases its not in your heart whether your parents were born muslim or not. If its not in your heart, you don't have to officially change your religion. What happens if you're not that religious and don't want to be part of any specific religion?Originally posted by Dokhtare_Malous View Postwhat are you talking about? even if your dad for example is muslim and doesnt practice it then he is still a muslim doesnt matter you practice or not all it matters is that you were born with it and you have it in ur heart. mohem nist ke beshini namaz bekhooni vo khialy karaye dige anjam bedi ke be hame neshoon bedi ke muslim hasty ya na, khoda nagofte ke bayad inkaro konin ke muslim bashin va agar inkaro nakonin ya be ghole khodet parctice nakonin ur not muslim
