This is not a political question. Its a purely religious question about whether there are mechanisms that allow Islam to be reformed, and whether these reforms are more in line with what we usually call 'human rights'...

no how could it it is a perferc relligion and the will of g-d who are we to reform it
if we change it it means there is somthing that we wanted to be changed
G-d determines who walks into your life....It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

the question is if the perfect religion has mechanisms for reform. there's no reason why the will of g-d doesn't change over time. also, did you know that most of Islamic law is NOT written in the Quran, and were developed by Islamic scholars?Take him and cut him out in little stars,

the laws you are talking about are they "written" or "interpretation"
also off topic but i would very much appriciate the response
the JIHAD as i know, blowing oneself up to kill others were does that come from?

yeah mike, actually jihad does not necessarily mean that. more accurately, jihad is going to war with whatever or whoever is taking away your faith.
The criteria is that something or someone is going against your right to be a muslim. This does not have to be another human party. It can easily be your 'inner demons'.Take him and cut him out in little stars,

so were do you draw this line of someone going against your right of be a musilm
is it drawn when i am consuming resources that otherwise should go to a Muslim, say as extreme as lac of land space and my secular survival instict tell me to build a factory or farm instead of a mosc, or i destroy the only cemetery in town to make room for a ceder sainai hospital
or is it when i create a secular society that aims to have all religions co exist based on a judeok Christian philosophy and values (america), and this society bans certain acts that are deemed bad for society (say self mutulation like the dasde in iran)
or is it when i advertize my unmuslim way of life and and leave it up to the the person's free will to choose my unmuslim path or stick to his own muslim belife say when a new american company opens a discotec with a fully stocked bar in dubai

how does this relate to reform? can you find someone who has particular knowledge about reform and get them to state their opinion here?Take him and cut him out in little stars,
