This is my interpretation of the facts.
First, religion is not simply a cause of strife. It is an effect of strife, that in turn can cause strife as well, such as through implementing inhumane rules and violence.
Capitalism is a concept that has taken away the right to self-determination of around 80% of the world. It has led to mass starvation and direct genocide.
In my opinion we're stupid to target religion first. I'm not saying we shouldn't have the concept of money and markets, but that the priority is human welfare.
One must make some choice between these two. Which issue will solve more global problems. To me, its clear that anti-capitalism brings down any form of human curroption, whether its the inhuman control and torture of a country's own population, war, disease, or anything else.
