My Wedding Weight Loss Story

How To Stop Overeating And Get Thin Quick


My wedding weight loss story starts back in June 2007. I realized while frantically planning my wedding in August that I needed to lose that last 20 pounds. It snuck up on me and I needed a quick solution.

With the help of my now wife I scoured over the internet looking for dieting secrets, how to get thin quick and even how to stop overeating.

I was amazed at all the conflicting information that floats around on the internet about this topic. I eventually found my wedding weight loss solution!

It’s no miracle of course, no secret diet, and no pills, lotion or creams… It was simply to eat sensibly and eat healthy. What a concept! I began looking more closely for a healthy diet that would show me how to stop overeating and develop healthier eating habits all around.

This was no “get thin quick scam”. It actually did get me thin quick!

My first course of action was to have a diet plan. I found a diet generator online which gave me a healthy selection of foods that I could eat.

Almost as important was the fact that it allowed me to eat more often throughout the day. Not only did this prevent me from overeating, it made an impact on my sluggish metabolism to burn more fat.

Ultimately, the main idea is to eat more frequent smaller meals which gives the metabolism a boost. A tricky little idea I learned was to also have cheat days. This really confuses your body which in turns burns more fat.

This plan allowed me to keep my diet for 11 days and then have three days off in which I could eat my favorite foods. Of course moderation and eating to satiation is stressed so it’s not a license to eat to your hearts content.

In closing, I would suggest you investigate dieting programs to see which is right for you. Outline your goals, then pick a day — say tomorrow — to start your program! Consistency is the key. Stay focused and you’ll achieve your goals.
