With less than 35 hours left, the night before the night before the match(!), my blood is starting to boil. I can see a unique type of fever is developing in my system. It is called football fever. It is body's reaction to a phenomena called "football obsession". Yes, I am obsessed. I have been for a long time.
I live for days like this. Iran is meeting Japan. Face off like these happens once every few years when Iran is facing a "real" football team and the outcome is crucial. Being held in Tehran and in Azadi adds to this great expectation. I am going to enjoy every minute of it. I know Japan has come to play football. I am not worried about side issues. Only quality, competitive, above Asian football match.
I know I can sleep tonight. I'll get as much as I can. Tomorrow is gonna be a different day. Won't function normal during the day. Totally distracted from daily responsibilities. Night time is gonna get worst. Perhaps a sleepless night.
