For those in the know of the body building sport, Susan Malekpur Shirazi is the biggest fitness heroine of all seasons. Susan has achieved the "Miss Fitness World" titles at different places for the last 10 years. She has portrayed a combination of femininity, elegance, and power. She is very dedicated like her German mother, and sentimental and charming like her Shirazian father. Susan Malekpour Shirazi is for us all, a goddess of fitness.

Susan's body is lean, with perfect shape and symmetry, and a degree of muscle size attained from years of training. In addition, she has an impressive posing routine to show off every nuance of this work of art. Starting at a young age, Susan did well in as a five-year-old. Today she is Miss Fitness Universe 2005 and is internationally recognized.

Nowadays Susan is preparing for another pageant performance in Miss Fitness 2006 in Vienna. she talked about her athletic and personal life.

Tell us about all your titles?

Susan Malekpur Shirazi: I have the Miss Fitness title since 1994, 3 times in Germany, twice worldwide. (For a complete list, see footnotes)

What are you doing nowadays?

SMS: I am preparing myself to participation in Miss Fitness 2006 champion in Vienna.

We do not have any doubt that in the women's performance class your wonderful immaculate condition and incredible proportions will win the overall title again, we hope you all the best. What other things do you to besides competing in these events?

SMS: I am a Professional Fitness Athlete, Fitness Trainer, Fitness Consultant, Author, and talk show host.

You are known as having developed your own body shaping techniques, please explain.

SMS: I am presenting this method in a German TV Sports station called DSF. I am also preparing the foundations to establish an academy to educate my fitness technique to trainers, and improve the quality of training of coaches.

What are the secrets of success?

SMS: Discipline, responsibility, morals, humanism in life and profession and fair play in sport.

Who are your sponsors?

SMS: ASICS, Power Bar, Polar, and Scott.

Your business is sport, what do you do for fun?

SMS: I write books about health, nutrition, sport, ways to reach target, success and achievement. My first book on the subject is already published, and I am currently working on my second book.

Do you please tell us your brief biography?

SMS: I was born in Munich in 1972. My father is Iranian and my mother is German. I graduated from High School and immediately selected the professional body building sport.

When did you start getting serious about sports?

SMS: At age of 3 with gymnastic. I won the athletic title in this field when I was 5. When I was 12, I started playing Handball, which is a very popular sport here in Germany. I continued that for 8 years. Those days I was weak, so I went to body building gyms to improve, but I was absorbed and never left.

What are your dreams?

SMS: Health of body and spirit for myself and my family, self-confidence to stay on my feet, and working with honest people.

What is the outcome of your work for the society?

SMS: We show people how much the quality of life can be improved by healthy nutrition and sport. The body and mind are interrelated and people need to find balance in life through that.

Susan Malekpur Shirazi won second place in the Miss World Fitness 2006 cup in Austria as part of the World Women Fitness Championship this past June 3rd. Susan, who is originally from Iran, has held this title for the last eleven years.

The Miss Wolrd Fitness Cup is the biggest international contest for fitness. More than 300 athletes from around the world participated in this competition this year.

There competition was won by Australian champion Areti, who beat Susan with only 1 point. Anita Kenyon from England came in third place. Scoring a total of 7 points, Susan is now placed 3rd in the world ranking list.

Susan Malekpur Shirazi, who currently lives in Munich was born to a German mother and an Iranian father. She and her team carried the Flag of Iran in the competition. She is very proud of her heritage. Susan has held the title of Miss World Fitness Universe from 2002 till 2006. Her athletic figure, which is lean, symmetrical and completely in shape comes from hard work and lots of training.
