  • The Bahar of Hollywood

Bahar Soomekh has a lot to smile about these days. Not only does her name mean spring in Persian but it seems that spring is in the air for this multi-talented actress. Born in 1974, the beautiful Bahar counts is an ever rising star in Hollywood. Since 2002, she has been acting bit roles on TV shows such as CBS's JAG and Fox's 24, waiting for her big break.

Perhaps, her first foray onto the big screen with the smash hit Crash was her biggest break yet. She played alongside Matt Dillon and Sandra Bullock in this acclaimed thriller by Paul Haggis. As a follow up, Bahar has finished work on the film Syriana, playing the role of Yassi, with the handsome George Clooney. And if that were not enough, Bahar is slotted to star in Tom Cruises' upcoming Mission Impossible III. She is currently cast as Sahar Masruk in FOX's new series Bones.

The following are some photos of Bahar at several premieres, including the press conference for the 29th Toronto International Film Festival.
