Dear Friends!
Dourud! Ushta!
Here is Point No 1!
Being the Gathas a guide for the followers of the Good Religion, it is very Curious that Zartusht only Once mention the Word "God", and he does not use it to reffer to Ahura Mazda.
Zartusht, spoke in a very archaic language. This Language is known as "Avesta", because is the language of this Holy book, and there is no material in this language outside the Zend Avesta. The word "God" in this language is "Baga" (Like in ancient Persian).
Zartusht uses this word to speak about the myth of Jamshid, about whom it is said he declared himself to be god.
Ahura Mazda means: Ahura = Being, Lord (from Ahu = life); Mazda = Wise (from Maz = Great, Da = Knowledge); Zartusht always recognizes Ahura Mazda as the Supreme Being, but never uses "God" to reffer to him.
