Why do you want the history of Ghorme Sabzi, ok I will tell you:
Ghormeh Sabzi was born in 1476 and he had two brothers. Ash and fesenjoon. JK
Ok, this is some informations about this food:

Ghormeh Sabzi is an Iranian stew. The main ingredients are a mixture of sauteed herbs, consisting of leek, parsley, spinach, cilantro, and fenugreek. This mixture is cooked with kidney beans, green onions, chives, dried limes, and lamb or beef meat, and is served with Basmati rice.
Fenugreek gives the meal the characteristic curry-like taste.

HAHA...once my dad took ghormeh sabzy to work, all his hunter friends said it looked like the insides of a deer they killed on he weekend. From then on we have ghormeh sabzy once every two years:o He later confirmed that it does look like deer stomach stuff after he went hunting with them:smt071
