Many years ago on the date 26 of June a husband and women got their first and last Child together in the capital of Iran, Tehran. This boy got his name after a famous Actor called Farzan Deljoo that his mom loved and also his mothers name started with Far....So FARZAN was the name. Farzan and his family lived for a couple of years in Tehran, Shemiran, before they moved to Sweden. Since Farzan was a kid he always enjoyed to entertain people in diffrent ways, all from Parties to school to private family gatherings. The fact that Farzan was the only child made him very strong as person mentally. Farzan always had sooo big dreams that people would not take so serious. But he strongly believed in his dreams and that made the same people who didn’t believe in him, believe in him even more than he did and Farzan’s famous motto was born...

Today Farzan is an extrovert individual who enjoys the company of people and making new acquaintances. Farzan believes in himself and the talents that he possess and so do the thousand of his fans because of his high degree of self-confidence. He always considers positive attitude and energy part of his personality for which it has given him a constructive perspective in life. In addition, he also believes that life comes with many challenges and therefore, the ability to meet these challenges at all levels is a path that he deems necessary to succeed in life. Being energetic, purposeful, and competitive and determined are amongst many characteristics he holds. He is a quick-learner and he has the capability to take his own initiatives at all times. Farzan is very flexible in terms of body movements and therefore, regards dancing as one of the many talents he possesses. He enjoys and desires to be in front of a camera and he tends to act outstanding when lenses focus on him. He considers performing and acting as his other talents that he has learnt throughout his life. Previously Farzan had many experiences in fashion shows, participating as extra in movies and series, have lead role in theatrical events and music videos. Furthermore, he can read, understand and write Swedish, English and Farsi. Educationally, he has been studying for his Masters in Business Administration at university level and he plans to achieve his goals. Personally, he trains weekly to keep fit and takes part in a healthy diet. He strongly believes in balancing his life in any shape or form. Who is Farzan Athari?

FA: Many years ago on the date 26 of June a husband and wife got their first and last child together in Tehran. I got my name after a famous Actor called Farzan Deljoo that my mom loved and also my mother’s name started with “Far”, so therefore Faran became my name. My family and I and lived in Shemiran for a couple of years. We later moved to Sweden, where I grew up.

Where do you live now, and why you are there?

FA: Today I’m based in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm because my family, father, mother and baby sister also lives in Stockholm. I have been studying at school, completing a Masters in Business Administration at university level and I plan to achieve my goals. Furthermore, I can read, understand and write Swedish, English and Farsi, also a little bit French and Spanish.

What is story of your immigration?

FA: Well my parents had some friends who lived in Sweden and they really enjoyed Sweden and told my family about the countries benefits that my parents liked and they decided to move. My father always wanted to go somewhere in Europe and they chose Sweden.

Do you have any special training or education in modeling?

FA: Modeling is nothing you can train or study for. All the modeling schools are companies that want to make money off of you. They will teach about the industry but they can’t make you a model. If you have what it takes, then the modeling agencies will take you.

What does it take to be a model?

FA: The height is one of the most important things. For men it is around 183 - 188 cm and for girls around 173 and up. You have to work well in front of the camera and make the pictures look good. Models can look very different depending on the market they are working in. And of course you need a lot of patience and the most important thing is positive way of thinking. A good personality and Self-confidence is also of importance.

Tell us a little about how you got started with modeling?

FA: Since I was a kid I always enjoyed entertaining people in different ways, from school to private family gatherings. So show business was the plan. Modeling is also a part of show business. There was a modeling competition, and some of my friends encouraged me to participate. So I did. I made it to the final three and after the competition I was approached by a modeling agency. After a few days I gave him a call and we arranged a test shooting to see the results, which came out well. That’s how it started.

(To the readers: always be careful if someone gives you an offer. Be sure that it’s a registered modeling agency and remember that the agency doesn’t charge you any money. The Agency only makes money when you make money.)



Who are your favorite idols in modeling and who has had the biggest influence on you?

FA: I must say Marcus Schenkenberg because he was the first international Super Model. He is also from Sweden. But my role Model in life is my father for his strong mentally of thinking and also Will Smith because of his self-confidence and success in different fields of show business.

Where and when was your first performance?

FA: It was a fashion Show in Sweden, Stockholm for Roco-Baroco.

What does success mean for you?

FA: Success is a powerful word for me. It means being healthy and having the ability to reach your goals in life.

What is your motivation to Modeling? To what extent will you continue this job?

FA: Well I enjoy traveling especially if you work as internationally, then you travel a lot. You stay in places longer and you have the chance to learn more about a new culture and of course you meet a lot of new people. That’s always fun.

What is the best reaction to your activity?

FA: The best reaction is all the emails that I get from all the young and old Iranians around the world that telling me that I’m making them proud and that I’m giving them inspiration and motivation for life. That makes me happy and gives me more motivation to continue and be successful in show business.

would be a big dream-come-true for you?

FA: To make it big in the show business around the world especially US and Hollywood.

Dessert Island, three things, what do you take?

FA: Hmm… My feature wife, Mobile and laptop.

What are some of the upcoming projects or events that you have planned in the near future?

FA: Well I just came back from Milan fashion week and I’m going to Iran for a TV-commercial and a catalogue shooting. I will go to Delhi and Bombay in September and be there for 2-3 months. After that I will probably come to New York and Los Angeles for a catalogue shooting and maybe some other upcoming project.

What is the sweetest memory of your life?

FA: I think it is when I got my baby sister Shiva... I love her…

What is the bitter memory of your life?

FA: I don’t think that I have any bitter memory lool

What is your message to our Readers?

FA: My message is ”If you don’t believe in yourself, No one else will”.
