نامه محمود احمدي نژاد رئيس جمهوري اسلامي ايران به مركل صدر اعظم آلمان به كاردار اين كشور تحويل داده شد.


به نقل از اداره اطلاعات و مطبوعات وزارت امور خارجه، بعد از ظهر امروز چهارشنبه زيكريك كاردار آلمان در تهران در غياب سفير آلمان با منوچهر متكي وزير امور خارجه كشورمان ديدار و نامه محمود احمدي نژاد رئيس جمهوري اسلامي ايران به خانم مركل صدر اعظم آلمان را دريافت كرد.

يك سخنگوي دولت آلمان براي اولين بار ضمن تاييد دريافت نامه اختصاصي محمود احمدي نژاد رئيس جمهوري ايران خطاب به آنگلا مركل صدر اعظم آلمان افزود: كارشناسان آلماني در حال حاضر مشغول تجزيه و تحليل محتواي اين نامه هستند.


سخنگوي اداره صدر اعظم كه تاكيد كرد از ذكر نامش خودداري شود امروز پنجشنبه در گفتگوي اختصاصي با خبرنگار فارس در لندن گفت در حال حاضر به هيچوجه محتواي نامه برملا نخواهد شد و هيچ توضيحي نيز درباره محتواي كلي آن داده نميشود.
وي در پاسخ به اين پرسش كه آيا جواب روشني به نامه داده خواهد شد گفت، فعلا قادر نيست در اين باره توضيحي بدهد.
با اين حال وي اضافه كرد فردا تا قبل از ظهر به وقت برلين "ويلهلم" سخنگوي رسمي دولت آلمان در نشستي خبري مطالبي در رابطه با اين نامه اظهار خواهد كرد.

Germany rejects parts of a letter from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Chancellor Angela Merkel which called into question Israel's right to exist, a government spokesman said on Friday.



Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki delivered the letter to the German embassy in Tehran earlier this week. A German government official who saw the letter told Reuters it criticized Israel and said Germany and Iran should cooperate in dealing with Zionism and solving the Palestinian problem.

"It includes many statements that are unacceptable to us, especially regarding Israel, the right of Israel to exist and the Holocaust," said German government spokesman Ulrich Wilhelm.

"It is completely unacceptable for us when these are called into question."

Speaking to reporters, Wilhelm said the letter did not mention Tehran's nuclear standoff with the West, or the fighting in Lebanon and Israel.

Berlin's relations with Ahmadinejad have been complicated by his repeated denial of the Holocaust, in which Germany's Nazi regime killed 6 million Jews, and his call for Israel to be wiped off the map.

Holocaust denial is a crime in Germany punishable by up to five years in prison.

Wilhelm said Ahmadinejad expressed a desire for cooperation with Germany in his letter to the chancellor.

However, such cooperation is already envisioned as part of a June 6 offer of incentives made by Germany and the five permanent U.N. Security Council members, Wilhelm said.

"This can be achieved if Iran accepts the conditions of the 'EU3' (Germany, France, Britain). Then there will be possibilities ... for intensive cooperation."

The EU3, the United States, Russia and China -- the six countries backing the offer -- have said they are willing to negotiate with Iran on the incentives package only if it suspends its uranium enrichment program.

But Iran, which says its nuclear ambitions are limited to the peaceful generation of electricity, has not responded to the offer and has refused to stop enriching, a purification process that can produce fuel for atomic power plants or weapons.

A German government official provided Reuters with a few more details on the letter.

"It talks about how both Germany and Iran have been victims," he said on condition of anonymity. He said it also says "we have to find a solution to the Palestinian problems and Zionism and so on. It's rather weird."

In May, Ahmadinejad wrote President Bush an 18-page letter discussing religious values, history and international relations.

In it, he took swipes at Israel and Washington, both of which are attacked in the letter to Merkel, the official said.

Asked if Germany planned to respond to the letter, Wilhelm said: "We have no intention of entering into a long correspondence with the Iranian president."
