  • How to Pray

    Did you ever wonder how can you pray? Praying is not as hard as you think. There are many different ways to pray. Here are some of them.

    Steps

    Set some time aside to pray every day. It could be 15 minutes in the morning, right when you wake up, an hour of meditation in the evening, or any time you can get a break.

    Know who you are praying to. If you are praying routinely, pray to the God of a certain religion. If it is something only for when you are desperately in need, you can pray generally.

    Think about words to say, like "Thank you for..." "I'm sorry for..." and "Please help me to..." and fill in the rest. You don't have to use fancy words, just pray like you are talking to a friend.

    Choose how you want to pray. You can say the words out loud, whisper them, or just say them in your head. You can kneel at the side of your bed, sit cross-legged, pray while you're taking a walk, lie down while praying, or virtually any other position.


    Tips

    The key to prayer is believing that someone is always there to listen.

    Also, allow yourself to simply talk as you would in conversation. Formality is not a necessity!


    Warnings

    Don't expect any or all of your prayers to be answered.

    There is no scientific evidence that prayers are answered. But be aware that not all things can be studied physically.

    Ok tnx...I personally pray in bed before I sleep.
    When I fail it's because I haven't set my heart on it. To move forward in life we must have a goal. When you set goals you have somewhere to go, a purpose. Time is so valuable, don't waste it and do good with it. Be open to everyone and everything.
