Has anyone ever been? my whole family lives there, and there's no place i'd rather be but there.... i was just wondering if anyone else had been there.

Wow! i'm 17 and both my parents are from Astara. we go there every other summer pretty much.

I love the way the city is laid out, you can walk around the whole town in a day. Everyone is friendly, no chaos, just relaxed. i made friends at the local "bahshka" so every time i go there i play basketball with 30 year olds for 2 hours every other day.

i want to go back right now...
