Mohammads album will be released in Mid July,

It has 17 songs performed by Him and his dad Habib

the album is a package of one Audio CD (17 songs)
and, one DVD (8 music videos)

the album is called "JAVUNI"

I will have 3 of its songs on the site in a week or so.... I'll let you guys know

The release date for the new Mohammad & Habib CD entitled JAVOONI is set for August 15, 2004! I cannot wait!

Also for a small sidenote: Mekabiz's album entitled ZERO HOUR has a new name. It is now called AASEMOONEH BANAFSH (PURPLE SKY).

I was talking to a friend of mine who says that right now the album is scheduled for a release in October. Apparantly they want to make videos for every song on the album, and they are finishing up the vids now apparently. There is one CD album and one DVD album. I really hope it comes out then. I can hardly wait.

He has about 4 or 5 music videos out right now... And Avang was on TV a few days ago, saying that finally the album is done and release date will be before mid November. Lets see what gonna happen this time? But this time its been promised from the record company thats distributing it...

But while Mohamad sounds like his father, he sounds like no other artist in his own league! And that in fact makes his vocal-style rather UNIQUE, in a market where colleagues -deliberately or not- tend to sound like each other! And the same goes for his rather different and unique HABIB-ian music-style! Even though Mohamad’s own SOUND employed in the solo-songs, do not qualify for a UNIQUE-mark on their own. In a BBC-interview, last year, I read about Habib not being too fond of the TECHNO-oriented sound that he needed to employ in order to present his son to the younger audience. Given that, I must say that I personally was rather surprised and amazed when I heard Habib’s own songs being even MORE progressive than Mohamad’s!
