After watching a few movies from Iran, I came to notice that movies from the US, Hollywood etc, though many quite amazing and breathtaking, don't seem to employ as much political dissent as in the Iranian movies.
We usually ofcourse ascribe more freedom to the US than Iran. I was simply interested if this one aspect may be different or if its just me... I mean, I know that its harder to make a movie in Iran, but at the end the amount of political dissent in Iranian movies seems to me to be more in US movies, and the absence of such from US movies seems to be do to political control over the issue...
Does anyone catch this drift?
