Hey guys .
Anybody knows how a student who has graduated in Iran can calculate his GPA?

wouldnt you just take the grades and convert them from the number scale to a percentage to A,B,C? so if you got a 18-20, that would be considered an A (A-, A, A+), then just continue from there. 80-89 would be B, etc.

and but they use A- A A+ system than it's different.

Same thing applies for undergraduate students

So , Is there anybody who has graduated from Iran and then go to another country for Master and they tell him what’s your GPA? It is my question.

I am sure you are really smart if you came from iran with a bachlors and you are doing your masters here buddy and btw, sorry i understood your question wrong, i thought your grades were on the 1-20 scale from iran, didnt mean to offend you or your intelligence. persianking has the right scale right above.

I know i am great, i get that alot ( i am modest too)

but the more correct break down is persian king's cuz it takes into consideration pluses and minuses.

you get your score in farsi then multiply by 4 and then divide by 100. This gives you the percentage.
compare this percentage with the scale and tells you what you have..A, B,...

the range is the same as golgol stated in general for youe transcript.

goftam ke, the scale persian king gave is what is used in the university system here in the united states. what i said was only for solid grades (not counting pluses or minuses).
A+ = 4.0
A= 4.0
A-= 3.7
B+= 3.3
B= 3.0
B-= 2.7
C+= 2.3
C= 2.0
C-= 1.7
D+= 1.3
D= 1.0
D-= .07
F= 0

when they want to translate your grade only A B C D is used without +/- .
