      yea belive it or not
jewish philosophy belives that a man and a woman are two sould that throgh marriage will become one, and that ones brings you closer to g-d.

its like a triangle g-d at tope man and woman on each corner and kids in the middle somthing like that

here is were the relligion becomes on equal

if a divorce happens it is up to the man

woman are not required to do most of the mitzvas they are concidered complete already that is why they are not allowed to read the torah in front of a congression, or put on tefilin.

but yea when i was at this jewish school and some of the classes regarding marriage and treatment of wife in my own pop culture ie persian american felt like get woped.

also orthodox jews dont belive in getting to know someone befor you mary you are not soposed to "fall in love" with the person rather you are soposed to build love. It isnt arranged marriage but they dont go on extensive dates.
they just go on dates and talke about their aspiration and goals and then they get married.

also woman in jewish religion are considered the foundation of the house hold and the i guss you could say captin of the ship in terms or spiritual guidness.

but yea woman are treated equaly. acctualy in some ways i think better.

      other than the divorce thing
i think the woman in the jewish relligion are treated better than men.
