يك منبع نزديك به نهاد رياست جمهوري گفت: در پي سفر رئيس جمهور به نيويورك در بيست*وهشتم شهريور امسال جهت شركت در مجمع عمومي سازمان ملل و برگزاري چند جلسه با اقشار مختلف مردم آمريكا، مباحث مختلفي در اين جلسات مطرح شد كه دكتر محمود احمدي*نژاد تصميم گرفت نامه ويژه*اي را خطاب به ملت آمريكا بنويسد و مباحثي را با آنها در ميان بگذارد.

وي افزود: رئيس جمهور پس از تدوين و نگارش نامه خطاب به ملت آمريكا ديروز تصميم گرفت اين نامه را امروز چهارشنبه منتشر كند.

اين منبع مطلع تصريح كرد: نامه 5 صفحه*اي رئيس جمهور خطاب به ملت آمريكا امروز از طريق نمايندگي ايران در سازمان ملل در اختيار رسانه*هاي آمريكايي قرار داده مي*شود.

وي در پايان خاطرنشان كرد: پس از انتشار نامه در آمريكا متن فارسي نامه رئيس جمهور در ايران هم منتشر خواهد شد.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

اللهم عجل لوليك الفرج و العافيه و النصر و اجعلنا من خير انصاره و اعوانه و المستشهدين بين يديه

مردم شريف آمريكا

اگر فعاليتهاي دولت امريكا در اين منطقه از جهان و تاثيرات منفي آن در زندگي ملتهاي ما و نابسامانيها و جنگهايي كه دولت آمريكا مسبب آن است ن آن و نتايج تاسف بار مداخله آمريكا در ساير كشورهاي جهان نبود.

همچنين اگر يكتا پرستي ، حق جويي و عدالتخواهي مردم آمريكا از يك طرف و پنهان كاري و جلوگيري دولت آمريكا از نشر حقايق و واقعيتهاي موجود وجود نداشت.

و اگر همه ما در قبال آزادي ، حرمت و كرامت انساني مسئوليت مشترك نداشتيم ضرورتي براي گفتگو با شما وجود نمي داشت .

بايد اذعان كرد كه هر چند تقدير الهي دو كشور ايران و آمريكا را در فاصله دوري از يكديگر قرار داده است ، اما ارزشها و روح كلي انساني كه از برتري كرامت و فضيلت همه انسانها سخن مي گويد دو ملت بزرگ را به يكديگر نزديك كرده است .

هر دو ملت خداپرست ، حقيقت جو و عدالت طلب و خواهان شرافت و عزت و كمال هستند .

همه از ترويج ارزشها و خصلتهاي انساني نظير محبت ، وحدت و همدلي ، احترام به حقوق انسانها و پشتيباني از حق و انصاف و دفاع از انسانهاي مظلوم در برابر زورگويان خرسند مي شوند و لذت مي برند .

همه در خوبيها ، در خدمت به يكديگر به خصوص در خدمت به محرومان و مظلومان ميل مشترك داريم و از بيعدالتي ها ، پايمال شدن حقوق انسانها و تحقيرها ناراحت مي شويم .

همه از گمراهي و فريب و نيرنگ بيزاريم و دوستدار هدايت و نور ، يكرنگي و اخلاص هستيم .

فطرت انساني دو ملت بزرگ ايران و آمريكا بر حقيقت آنچه گفتم گواهي مي دهد .

مردم شريف آمريكا

ملت ما همواره دست دوستي و مودت را به سوي همه ملتهاي جهان دراز كرده است . صدها هزار نفر از هموطنان ايراني من با صلح و صفا در كنار شما زندگي مي كنند و عموما منشاء خدمات شايسته اي در جامعه شما هستند . مردم ما سالها با شما در ارتباط بوده اند و عليرغم سختگيري بلا وجه مقامات آمريكايي رفت و آمد ها و دوستي ها ادامه يافته است .

همچنانكه گفتم ما دغدغه هاي مشترك داريم و از نا هنجاريها و نابسامانيها در جهان امروز رنج مي بريم .

ما و شما از درد و غم روز افزون مردم مظلوم فلسطين ناراحتيم . تجاوزات مستمر حكومت صهيونيستي زندگي را بر صاحبان اصلي سرزمين فلسطين هر روز سخت تر مي كند . حكومت صهيونيستي در جلوي دوربين ها و چشمان ناظران جهاني مردم بي دفاع را بمباران و خانه ها را با بلدوزر تخريب مي كند ، دانش آموزان را در خيابان و كوچه به رگبار مي بندد و خانواده ها را چشم براه و فرزندانشان را عزادار مي كند .

روزي نيست كه آنان به جنايتي تازه دست نزنند .

مادران فلسطيني نظير مادران ايراني و آمريكايي فرزندان خود را دوست دارند و از زخمي شدن و زنداني شدن و كشته شدن آنان به شدت اندوهناك مي شوند . كدام مادر است كه در سوگ فرزند خود ناراحت نشود ؟

60 سال است رژيم صهيونيستي ميليونها نفر از ساكنان سرزمين فلسطين را آواره كرده است . بسياري از آوارگان در غربت و در اردوگاهها از دنيا رفته اند و فرزندان آنان جواني را پشت سر گذاشته اند و در آرزوي بازگشت به وطن به پيري مي رسند .

شما خود بهتر مي دانيد كه دولت آمريكا با حمايت بي دريغ و دائمي خود از رژيم صهيونيستي او را در انجام اين جنايات تشويق كرده است . دولت آمريكا اجازه نداده است شوراي امنيت سازمان ملل حكومت غاصب صهيونيستي را محكوم نمايد . چه كسي مي تواند اين عهد شكني و جفاي دولت آمريكا را نسبت به بشريت انكار كند ؟

دولتها براي خدمت به ملتهاي خود سركار مي آيند . هيچ ملتي به دولت خود اجازه نمي دهد از ستمگران حمايت كند . اما متاسفانه دولت آمريكا به افكار عمومي مردم خود نيز توجه نداشته و پرچمدار حمايت از متجاوزان به حقوق مردم فلسطين بوده است .

عراق را ببينيد . از زمان حضور دولت آمريكا در عراق تا كنون بيش از 150 هزار نفر از مردم عراق كشته و صدها هزار نفر آواره گشته اند و تروريسم در عراق به شدت توسعه يافته است . با حضور دولت آمريكا در عراق هيچ قدمي در ترميم ويراني ها ، ساخت زير بناها و رفع فقر برداشته نشده است . آنان وجود سلاحهاي كشتار جمعي در عراق را بهانه كردند اما بعدا معلوم شد اين ادعا دروغ و فريب بوده است . گرچه صدام ساقط شد و مردم از سقوط صدام خوشحال شدند اما درد و رنج مردم عراق گسترده تر ادامه يافت .

در عراق حدود يكصد و پنجاه هزار نفر از سربازان آمريكايي دور از خانواده خود و تحت فرماندهي دولت آمريكا عمل مي كنند . عده قابل توجهي از آنان كشته و زخمي شده اند و حضور آنان در عراق ضربه اي به حيثيت دولت و ملت آمريكا وارد آورده است. بارها مادران و خانواده هاي آمريكايي نارضايتي خود را از حضور فرزندانشان در عراق در سرزميني كه هزاران كيلومتر با آمريكا فاصله دارد اعلام كرده اند و سربازان آمريكايي مي پرسند ما را براي چه به اينجا آورده ايد ؟

بعيد مي دانم شما راضي باشيد سالانه دهها ميليارد دلار از خزانه شما صرف اين لشكر كشي شود.

ملت شريف آمريكا

شما خود شنيده ايد كه دولت آمريكا مخالفان خود را از نقاط مختلف جهان شكار و بدون محاكمه و بدون نظارت بين المللي در زندانهاي مخوفي كه در اقصي نقاط جهان ايجاد كرده است نگهداري مي كند . خدا مي داند اين زندانيان چه كساني هستند و به چه سرنوشت تلخي گرفتار شده اند . داستان غم انگيز زندان ابوغريب در عراق و گوانتانامو را شنيده ايد . البته دولت آمريكا همه اين اقدامات را با ادعاي مبارزه با تروريسم توجيه مي كند ولي همه مي دانند اينگونه اقدامات احساسات مردم جهان را جريحه دار مي كند ، تروريسم را توسعه مي دهد و حيثيت دولت آمريكا را در نزد ملتها مخدوش مي كند .

اقدامات خلاف قانون و اخلاق دولت آمريكا محدود به خارج از مرزها نمي شود.

شما خود شاهد هستيد هر روز ، به بهانه مبارزه با تروريسم ، آزاديهاي مدني در آمريكا محدود مي شود . حتي حريم شخصي افراد معناي خود را از دست مي دهد . قوانين قضايي و حقوق اساسي زير پا گذاشته مي شود . تلفن ها شنود و هر فرد مشكوك دستگير و يا حتي در خيابانها مورد ضرب و شتم واقع و يا با گلوله كشته مي شود . من مطمئن هستم ملت آمريكا اين نوع برخوردها را نمي پسندد و از اين نوع رفتارها بيزار و خشمگين است .

دولت آمريكا به هيچ سازمان و شورايي پاسخگو نيست . دولت آمريكا اعتبار سازمانهاي بين المللي به خصوص سازمان ملل و شوراي امنيت را نيز مخدوش كرده است .

اينجانب قصد ندارم در اين نامه به همه نابسامانيها و مشكلات اشاره كنم .

منشاء اقتدار و آبروي يك دولت ، تانك*ها و هواپيما*ها، موشك*ها و بمب*هاي اتمي نيست بلكه منطق استوار ، حق*طلبي و خيرخواهي براي همه بشريت است.

اين ظن وجود دارد كه دولتمردان و صاحب *منصبان آمريكايي با ادامه اعمال زور و با پنهان كاري و دور نگه داشتن مردم از اقدامات و برنامه*هاي خود، آمريكا را در وضعيت نامناسبتري قرار دهند.

بدون ترديد ملت آمريكا از اينگونه رفتارها ناراضي است و با نحوه حضور در انتخابات اخير اين نارضايتي را نشان داد.

اميدوارم به دنبال انتخابات اخير دولت آقاي بوش پيام ملت آمريكا را دريافت كرده باشد.

سئوال اينجانب اين است كه :

آيا واقعاً نمي*توان با شيوه بهتري حكومت كرد و با التزام به عدالت و به رسميت شناختن حقوق ملتها ، ثروت و قدرت را به جاي تجاوز و جنگ*افروزي در خدمت صلح و ثبات و رفاه و آسايش مردم قرار داد؟

همه ما تروريسم را محكوم مي*كنيم چرا كه قربانيان اصلي تروريسم مردم بي*گناه هستند ولي آيا با جنگ و ويراني و كشتن صدهاهزار انسان بي*گناه مي*توان تروريسم را مهار كرد؟

اگر چنين امري ميسر بود، پس چرا مشكل حل نشده است؟

تجربه حمله به عراق جلوي روي ماست.

حمايت از صهيونيست*ها چه ارمغاني براي ملت آمريكا داشته است؟

تأسف*بار است كه در نزد دولت آمريكا منافع صهيونيست*هاي اشغالگر بر منافع ملت آمريكا و ساير ملت*هاي جهان مقدم باشد.

صهيونيست*ها چه خدمتي به ملت آمريكا كرده*اند كه دولت آمريكا خود را به صهيونيست*هاي بدنام و متجاوز متعهد مي*داند؟

و آيا ترديدي وجود دارد كه شبكه صهيونيستي خود را بر بخش وسيعي از سيستم*هاي بانكي و مالي و اقتصادي و فرهنگي و رسانه*اي تحميل كرده است!

توصيه اينجانب اين است كه به احترام بشريت و به احترام مردم آمريكا حقوق فلسطينيان براي زندگي در سرزمين و خانه خود به رسميت شناخته شود تا ميليون*ها آواره فلسطيني به خانه و كاشانه خود برگردند و در يك همه*پرسي تكليف تمام سرزمين فلسطين و حكومت آينده آن معلوم گردد. اين به نفع همه است.

اينك كه عراق داراي قانون اساسي ، دولت و مجلس مستقل است آيا بازگشت افسران و سربازان آمريكايي به كشورشان و اختصاص بودجه هاي سرسام*آور نظامي ، در جهت رفاه و آسايش مردم آمريكا سود مند تر نيست؟

شما بهتر مي دانيد كه هنوز عده*اي از آسيب ديدگان طوفان كاترينا در رنج هستند و فقرا و بي خانمانهاي زيادي وجود دارند .

و سخني نيز با برندگان انتخابات در آمريكا دارم ؛

دولت*هاي زيادي تا كنون در آمريكا حكومت كرده*اند، دولت*هايي كه خوشنام بوده*اندو دولت*هايي كه مردم آمريكا و ساير ملتها از آنان به نيكي ياد نمي*كنند.

شما نيز كه در بخش مهمي از حكومت آمريكا حضور يافته ايد ، در معرض قضاوت مردم و تاريخ خواهيد بود.

اگر حكومت آمريكا با چالش هاي امروز در داخل و خارج آمريكا با نگاه مبتني بر حق و عدالت مواجه شود خواهد توانست تا حدودي گذشته*هاي نابسامان را جبران نمايد. و انزجار جهاني را كاهش دهد و اگر مسير همان باشد كه تاكنون طي شده است دور از انتظار نيست كه ملت آمريكا گروه جديد را نيز نفي كند و به سرنوشت قبلي ها دچار شوند اگر چه انتخابات آمريكا در واقع شكست سياستهاي دولت آمريكاست و نه پيروزي شما . گرچه اين موضوعات در نامه به آقاي بوش مفصلا تشريح شده بود .

و خلاصه كلام اينكه:

مي*توان با ادبيات ديگري متفاوت از ادبيات زور و بي*عدالتي حكومت راند.

مي*توان خالصانه در خدمت ارزش*هاي مشترك انساني ، صداقت و محبت بود و بدون ايجاد تنش ، تهديد ، تحميل و جنگ ، رفاه و آسايش را به ارمغان آورد.

مي*توان با توحيد و خداپرستي و با اخلاق و معنويت و با درسهايي كه پيامبران الهي داده*اند، جهان را به سمت كمال مطلوب خويش پيش برد .

در آن صورت مردم آمريكا كه مردمي خداپرست و پيرو اديان الهي هستند بر همه مشكلات غلبه خواهند كرد.

آنچه گفتم بخشي از دغدغه*هاي اينجانب بود.

مطمئنم شما مردم آمريكا نقش مهمي در استواري عدالت و معنويت در جهان ايفا خواهيد كرد. وعده هاي خداوند و پيامبران الهي محقق خواهد شد و عدل و راستي در جهان مستقر خواهد گرديد و همه ملت*ها در فضايي آكنده از عشق و برادري به زندگي حقيقي دست خواهند يافت.

هيات حاكمه و صاحب منصبان و قدرتمندان آمريكا راه*هاي بي*بازگشت را انتخاب نكنند. طبق تعليمات انبياء الهي سرانجام ظلم ، سقوط و نابودي است. اينك راه بازگشت به ايمان و معنويت هموار است.

به كلام آسماني قرآن كريم توجه كنيم كه مي*فرمايد:

و اما كسي كه توبه كند و ايمان آورد و به كار شايسته پردازد. اميد است كه در گروه نجات*يافتگان قرار گيرد.

و پروردگار تو هر چه بخواهد مي*آفريند و برمي*گزيند و آنان اختياري ندارند. منزه است خدا و از آنچه با او شريك قرار مي*دهند.

سربلندي همه ملت*هاي جهان، ملت ايران و آمريكا را از خداوند متعال مسئلت مي*كنم.

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

O, Almighty God, bestow upon humanity the perfect human being promised to all by You, and make us among his followers.

Noble Americans,

Were we not faced with the activities of the US administration in this part of the world and the negative ramifications of those activities on the daily lives of our peoples, coupled with the many wars and calamities caused by the US administration as well as the tragic consequences of US interference in other countries;

Were the American people not God-fearing, truth-loving, and justice-seeking, while the US administration actively conceals the truth and impedes any objective portrayal of current realities;

And if we did not share a common responsibility to promote and protect freedom and human dignity and integrity;

Then, there would have been little urgency to have a dialogue with you.

While Divine providence has placed Iran and the United States geographically far apart, we should be cognizant that human values and our common human spirit, which proclaim the dignity and exalted worth of all human beings, have brought our two great nations of Iran and the United States closer together.

Both our nations are God-fearing, truth-loving and justice-seeking, and both seek dignity, respect and perfection.

Both greatly value and readily embrace the promotion of human ideals such as compassion, empathy, respect for the rights of human beings, securing justice and equity, and defending the innocent and the weak against oppressors and bullies.

We are all inclined towards the good, and towards extending a helping hand to one another, particularly to those in need.

We all deplore injustice, the trampling of peoples' rights and the intimidation and humiliation of human beings.

We all detest darkness, deceit, lies and distortion, and seek and admire salvation, enlightenment, sincerity and honesty.

The pure human essence of the two great nations of Iran and the United States testify to the veracity of these statements.

Noble Americans,

Our nation has always extended its hand of friendship to all other nations of the world.

Hundreds of thousands of my Iranian compatriots are living amongst you in friendship and peace, and are contributing positively to your society. Our people have been in contact with you over the past many years and have maintained these contacts despite the unnecessary restrictions of US authorities.

As mentioned, we have common concerns, face similar challenges, and are pained by the sufferings and afflictions in the world.

We, like you, are aggrieved by the ever-worsening pain and misery of the Palestinian people. Persistent aggressions by the Zionists are making life more and more difficult for the rightful owners of the land of Palestine. In broad day-light, in front of cameras and before the eyes of the world, they are bombarding innocent defenseless civilians, bulldozing houses, firing machine guns at students in the streets and alleys, and subjecting their families to endless grief.

No day goes by without a new crime.

Palestinian mothers, just like Iranian and American mothers, love their children, and are painfully bereaved by the imprisonment, wounding and murder of their children. What mother wouldn't?

For 60 years, the Zionist regime has driven millions of the inhabitants of Palestine out of their homes. Many of these refugees have died in the Diaspora and in refugee camps. Their children have spent their youth in these camps and are aging while still in the hope of returning to homeland.

You know well that the US administration has persistently provided blind and blanket support to the Zionist regime, has emboldened it to continue its crimes, and has prevented the UN Security Council from condemning it.

Who can deny such broken promises and grave injustices towards humanity by the US administration?

Governments are there to serve their own people. No people wants to side with or support any oppressors. But regrettably, the US administration disregards even its own public opinion and remains in the forefront of supporting the trampling of the rights of the Palestinian people.

Let's take a look at Iraq. Since the commencement of the US military presence in Iraq, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis have been killed, maimed or displaced. Terrorism in Iraq has grown exponentially. With the presence of the US military in Iraq, nothing has been done to rebuild the ruins, to restore the infrastructure or to alleviate poverty. The US Government used the pretext of the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, but later it became clear that that was just a lie and a deception.

Although Saddam was overthrown and people are happy about his departure, the pain and suffering of the Iraqi people has persisted and has even been aggravated.

In Iraq, about one hundred and fifty thousand American soldiers, separated from their families and loved ones, are operating under the command of the current US administration. A substantial number of them have been killed or wounded and their presence in Iraq has tarnished the image of the American people and government.

Their mothers and relatives have, on numerous occasions, displayed their discontent with the presence of their sons and daughters in a land thousands of miles away from US shores. American soldiers often wonder why they have been sent to Iraq.

I consider it extremely unlikely that you, the American people, consent to the billions of dollars of annual expenditure from your treasury for this military misadventure.

Noble Americans,

You have heard that the US administration is kidnapping its presumed opponents from across the globe and arbitrarily holding them without trial or any international supervision in horrendous prisons that it has established in various parts of the world. God knows who these detainees actually are, and what terrible fate awaits them.

You have certainly heard the sad stories of the Guantanamo and Abu-Ghraib prisons. The US administration attempts to justify them through its proclaimed "war on terror." But every one knows that such behavior, in fact, offends global public opinion, exacerbates resentment and thereby spreads terrorism, and tarnishes the US image and its credibility among nations.

The US administration's illegal and immoral behavior is not even confined to outside its borders. You are witnessing daily that under the pretext of "the war on terror," civil liberties in the United States are being increasingly curtailed. Even the privacy of individuals is fast losing its meaning. Judicial due process and fundamental rights are trampled upon. Private phones are tapped, suspects are arbitrarily arrested, sometimes beaten in the streets, or even shot to death.

I have no doubt that the American people do not approve of this behavior and indeed deplore it.

The US administration does not accept accountability before any organization, institution or council. The US administration has undermined the credibility of international organizations, particularly the United Nations and its Security Council. But, I do not intend to address all the challenges and calamities in this message.

The legitimacy, power and influence of a government do not emanate from its arsenals of tanks, fighter aircrafts, missiles or nuclear weapons. Legitimacy and influence reside in sound logic, quest for justice and compassion and empathy for all humanity. The global position of the United States is in all probability weakened because the administration has continued to resort to force, to conceal the truth, and to mislead the American people about its policies and practices.

Undoubtedly, the American people are not satisfied with this behavior and they showed their discontent in the recent elections. I hope that in the wake of the mid-term elections, the administration of President Bush will have heard and will heed the message of the American people.

My questions are the following:

Is there not a better approach to governance?

Is it not possible to put wealth and power in the service of peace, stability, prosperity and the happiness of all peoples through a commitment to justice and respect for the rights of all nations, instead of aggression and war?

We all condemn terrorism, because its victims are the innocent.

But, can terrorism be contained and eradicated through war, destruction and the killing of hundreds of thousands of innocents?

If that were possible, then why has the problem not been resolved?

The sad experience of invading Iraq is before us all.

What has blind support for the Zionists by the US administration brought for the American people? It is regrettable that for the US administration, the interests of these occupiers supersedes the interests of the American people and of the other nations of the world.

What have the Zionists done for the American people that the US administration considers itself obliged to blindly support these infamous aggressors? Is it not because they have imposed themselves on a substantial portion of the banking, financial, cultural and media sectors?

I recommend that in a demonstration of respect for the American people and for humanity, the right of Palestinians to live in their own homeland should be recognized so that millions of Palestinian refugees can return to their homes and the future of all of Palestine and its form of government be determined in a referendum. This will benefit everyone.

Now that Iraq has a Constitution and an independent Assembly and Government, would it not be more beneficial to bring the US officers and soldiers home, and to spend the astronomical US military expenditures in Iraq for the welfare and prosperity of the American people? As you know very well, many victims of Katrina continue to suffer, and countless Americans continue to live in poverty and homelessness.

I'd also like to say a word to the winners of the recent elections in the US:

The United States has had many administrations; some who have left a positive legacy, and others that are neither remembered fondly by the American people nor by other nations.

Now that you control an important branch of the US Government, you will also be held to account by the people and by history.

If the US Government meets the current domestic and external challenges with an approach based on truth and Justice, it can remedy some of the past afflictions and alleviate some of the global resentment and hatred of America. But if the approach remains the same, it would not be unexpected that the American people would similarly reject the new electoral winners, although the recent elections, rather than reflecting a victory, in reality point to the failure of the current administration's policies. These issues had been extensively dealt with in my letter to President Bush earlier this year.

To sum up:

It is possible to govern based on an approach that is distinctly different from one of coercion, force and injustice.

It is possible to sincerely serve and promote common human values, and honesty and compassion.

It is possible to provide welfare and prosperity without tension, threats, imposition or war.

It is possible to lead the world towards the aspired perfection by adhering to unity, monotheism, morality and spirituality and drawing upon the teachings of the Divine Prophets.

Then, the American people, who are God-fearing and followers of Divine religions, will overcome every difficulty.

What I stated represents some of my anxieties and concerns.

I am confident that you, the American people, will play an instrumental role in the establishment of justice and spirituality throughout the world. The promises of the Almighty and His prophets will certainly be realized, Justice and Truth will prevail and all nations will live a true life in a climate replete with love, compassion and fraternity.

The US governing establishment, the authorities and the powerful should not choose irreversible paths. As all prophets have taught us, injustice and transgression will eventually bring about decline and demise. Today, the path of return to faith and spirituality is open and unimpeded.

We should all heed the Divine Word of the Holy Qur'an:

"But those who repent, have faith and do good may receive Salvation. Your Lord, alone, creates and chooses as He will, and others have no part in His choice; Glorified is God and Exalted above any partners they ascribe to Him." (28:67-6

در همين ارتباط روز پنجشنبه يكي از كشيشان مشهور آمريكا و مدير پايگاه اطلاع*رساني "لاو آل پيپل" (همه مردم را دوست بداريد) در نامه*اي سرگشاده، ضمن تاييد مطالب طرح شده در پيام رييس جمهوري ، نوشته است كه لابي صهيونيستي، راه هرگونه انتقاد از اسرائيل و يا دفاع از فلسطيني*ها را سد كرده*است.

"بيل مك گينيس" نوشته است: "جناب آقاي محمود احمدي نژاد رئيس جمهور ايران ، اين نامه سرگشاده در پاسخ به نامه شما به مردم آمريكا است".

اين كشيش آمريكايي در نامه خود اشاره دارد"اگرچه من مسئوليتي ندارم كه از طرف كسي به غير از خودم صحبت كنم ولي فكر مي*كنم كه نظرياتي كه اينجا مطرح مي*شود نظر عمده ميهن پرستان آمريكا است كه به دنبال حقيقت و عدالت هستند".

كشيش آمريكايي مي*نويسد: شما بسياري نكات عالي و قابل تحسين در اين نامه داشتيد. "همه ما براي خوبي و كمك به ديگران بخصوص آنهايي كه نيازمند هستند آمده*ايم،همه ما از بي*عدالتي و ظلم به مردم ناراضي هستيم و از ظلم و دروغ و حيله گري دوري مي*جوييم"، با همه اين عقايد كاملا موافق هستم و اميدوارم كه همه ما در اعمال خود به آن عمل كنيم.

"در اكثر موارد شما از دولت بوش انتقاد كرده*ايد كه من هم در اغلب موارد با شما هم عقيده هستم. سوء*استفاده اسفبار بوش از قدرت از مواردي است كه تنها وقتي نومحافظه*كاران دست راستي در كنگره و دولت به قدرت برسند امكان*پذير مي*شود. كنگره، قانون اساسي را بي*اهميت كرد و به وظيفه نظارت بر كار رئيس جمهور بي*توجهي نشان داد و از همه مهمتر كوركورانه آنچه كه جرج بوش رهبر نومحافظه كاران خواست، اجرا كرد".

اين كشيش آمريكايي نوشته است: بزودي كنگره جديد شروع به كار مي*كند و در آن كنگره ، نومحافظه كاران قدرت خود را از دست داده*اند كه اين موضوع با خواست مردم آمريكا در انتخابات اخير انجام شد.

مك گينيس افزوده است:بوش در حال حاضر آخرين روزهاي خود را مي*گذراند و هيچ كس چيزي به او بدهكار نيست. حرف مي*زند ولي صحبتهايش قدرت خيلي كمي دارد و اگر اين بار از حدود قدرتش تجاوز كند، كنگره جديد با تحقيقات و خطر استيضاح و محاكمه به جرم جنايات جنگي با او مقابله مي*كند.

""حتي ارتش هم كه تقريبا ارتش شخصي بوش شده بايد بر اساس قانون اساسي و نه دستورات غيرقانوني رئيس جمهور درمانده، كار كند. بنابراين بسياري از خلافهاي بوش بزودي به پايان مي*رسد و مردم آمريكا بيدار شده*اند و جلوي تاييد بي*چون چراي لوايح بوش توسط كنگره را گرفته*اند.

شما اسرائيل و حاميان آن را صهيونيست و رژيم صهيونيست خوانديد و آنها را متهم به جناياتي بخصوص عليه مردم فلسطين كرديد. شما نوشتيد:" در روز روشن جلوي دوربين*ها و چشمان جهانيان آنها مردم بيگناه را بمباران مي كنند، خانه هايشان را تخريب مي*كنند، به دانش آموزان در خيابانها و كوچه ها تيراندازي مي*كنند و خانواده*هايشان را داغدار مي*كنند".

شما از آمريكا براي حمايت كوركورانه از رژيم صهيونيستي انتقاد كرديد كه اين رژيم را در ادامه جناياتش جسورتر كرده و شوراي امنيت را از محكوم كردن آن بازداشته كه منجر به تنفر جهاني از آمريكا و افزايش تروريسم شده است.

بدون اين كه در مورد اين اتهامات بحث كنم خواهش مي*كنم كه به من اجازه دهيد دو واقعيت سياسي در آمريكا را مطرح كنم كه اين واقعيات به هيچ كس در آمريكا اجازه نمي*دهد با اسرائيل مخالفت جدي كند.

تمام اينها نيز بخاطر گروهي به نام لابي اسرائيل است . لابي اسرائيل مي*تواند بصورت يك گروه از افراد و سازمانهايي شناخته شود كه براي منافع سياسي اسرائيل تلاش و در مقابل انتقادها و مخالفان اسرائيل و سياست آن مي ايستد.

اما دو واقعيت چيست. واقعيت اول اين است كه حاميان اسرائيل در آمريكا، علاقه احساسي مانند مادر به فرزند نسبت به اسرائيل دارند. يك مادر خلاف فرزندش را به هر شكلي كه باشد، نمي*خواهد ببيند.

اين علاقه به حقايق عيني كاري ندارد، اگر فرزندش به بانك دستبرد بزند، به پنج زن تجاوز كند و مدرسه را در آتش بسوزاند هنوز مادر در فرزندش بدي نمي*بيند. اين نظر دقيقا نظر حاميان اسرائيل در آمريكا در خصوص اسرائيل است.

اين حقيقتي است كه در آمريكا وجود دارد و ما همه آن را مي*بينيم و مي*دانيم. در كتاب قديم انجيل مي*گويد:" آنهايي را كه به تو دوستي مي كنند دوست مي*دارم و آنهايي كه به تو نفرين مي*كنند نفرين مي*كنم و در كنار تو همه خانواده*هاي روي زمين به رحمت مي*رسند."
حاميان اسرائيل فكر مي*كنند كه اين آيه به مسايل امروز هم تعميم پيدا مي*كند.

واقعيت دوم اين است كه حاميان اسرائيل خيلي بيشتر از تعدادشان در آمريكا نفوذ دارند. در رسانه ها، در فرهنگ، بانكها، رهبري شركتها، در هردو حزب، در تمامي شعبات و نهادهاي دولت، در كليساهاي مسيحي ، در دانشگاهها و ساير مدارس و در همه جا نفوذ دارند.

اين نفوذ همراه با عشق صددرصدي به اسرائيل ، تضمين مي*كند كه به رغم آنچه در آمريكا مي*گذرد،هرگز بصورت جدي از اسرائيل انتقاد نكند.

اين هم واقعيت زندگي در آمريكاست كه ما آن را پذيرفته*ايم و با آن زندگي مي*كنيم.

دو واقعيتي كه ذكر شد نشان مي*دهد كه نه شما و نه هيچ كس ديگر در آمريكا نمي*تواند سياست آمريكا نسبت به اسرائيل را تغيير دهد يا از آن انتقاد كند"".

اين كشيش آمريكايي نوشته است كه "بطور ساده بايد گفت كه هركاري براي تغيير اين نگرش ، كارساز نيست. اگر شما از فلسطينيها حمايت كنيد حاميان اسرائيل مي*گويند كه شما يك تروريست هستيد، اگر عليه اسرائيل حرف بزنيد شما ضد يهود مي*شويد".
