Minogue was given the top spot for her new sophisticated look after recovering from breast cancer, the BBC reported Tuesday.

"We've seen a newer, softer-looking Kylie," said Glamour editor Jo Elvin, who also praised her "classic personal style."

The career of petite "PET-EAT" Australian sex symbol Kylie Minogue is well and truly back on the road. Having overcomer a recent brush with cancer, and now planing a new series of concerts, she has just received the ultimate in style endorsements, an exhibition dedicated to her at London's shrine to fashion and design, the Victoria and Albert museum.

The exhibition tracks the pint sized singer's rise to fame through fashion. Among the earliest items unearthed in this "Kylie-ology" are the overalls she wore in the Australian TV soap series "Neighbours," the show that gave her first big break.

Alongside the overalls, sits the white muslin cotton dress Kylie wore in the video for her early smash hit "I Should Be So Lucky," -- the single recorded with Stock, Aitken and Waterman that rocketed her to pop stardom.

Around 200 items feature in the exhibition which first showed in Melbourne in 2004.

But the collection has been kept up-to-date with the addition of a pink Galliano corset and Dolce & Gabbana leopard print cat-suit from the Showgirl Homecoming tour -- Kylie's return to the stage after recovering from breast cancer.

Other highlights are those vintage gold lame hot-pants that not only re-launched her career, but established one for her bottom as well. And there's the low cut white hooded jumpsuit, Kylie wore for the teamy "Can't Get You Out of My Head" video. Curator Vicky Broackes fills in some of the background.

Vicky Broackets, V&A curator, said, "Well that's a really good example I think of what the exhibition is about, because you'll see below the dress(refers to white hooded jumpsuit) and in fact there is a great story that when Kylie first saw it and saw how it was cut she wondered how on earth she was going to wear it and I'm sure there must have been some tape involved in that. But you see below the dress is the original drawing that was done and then you see the exhibit -- the dress itself on the mannequin and then you can see in the video behind it, how it was used in erformance and I think that's an example of what the exhibition...(it) is about it's showing how we get from the original concept in design right through to how it appears on stage or how it appear in performance."

But it's not just the outfits on display.

Fans can go behind the scenes and peek at Kylie's dressing room.

Littered with make up, brushes, and coffee mugs, the scene is as true to life as can be.

Vicky also said, "We were able to go down and see Kylies dressing room on the day that she was doing her tour and we actually spoke about not tidying up. We wanted to see it exactly as it was when she had just walked out of the room. And that's how we saw it and then we bought it here."

Kylie herself is expected to attend the official opening on Tuesday night. And "Kylie - The Exhibition", runs at the V&A in London's Kensington, from Thursday the 8th of February through to June the 10th.
