نيروهاي اشغالگر آمريكايي به سركنسولگري ايران در اربيل عراق حمله كرده و كاركنان اين دفتر را بازداشت كردند.


يك مقام آگاه در وزارت امور خارجه در اين باره گفت:در حمله اشغالگران آمريكايي به سركنسولگري ايران در اربيل عراق درب اين دفتر توسط مهاجمين شكسته شد و نگهبانان سركنسولگري نيز بازداشت شدند.

سركنسولگري جمهوري اسلامي ايران به درخواست دولت عراق در اربيل راه*اندازي شده است، تا رفت و آمد عراقي*ها به ايران را تسهيل كند.

اين مقام آگاه همچنين افزود:در اين حمله 5 تن از كاركنان اين دفتر توسط سربازان آمريكايي بازداشت شدند و اموال و اسناد آن را نيز با خود بردند.

وزارت امور خارجه كشورمان در حال پيگيري ماجراي حمله اشغالگران آمريكايي به دفتر سركنسولگري ايران در اربيل است.

چندي پيش نيز دو ديپلمات ايراني توسط نيروهاي آمريكايي در عراق بازداشت شده بودند.

سخنگوي وزارت خارجه تاكيد كرد: اجازه نمي*دهيم آمريكايي*ها روابط ايران با عراق را مخدوش كنند.



محمد علي حسيني سخنگوي وزارت امور خارجه در گفت*وگو با شبكه خبر اقدام نيروهاي آمريكايي در بازداشت كاركنان كنسولگري ايران در اربيل عراق را خلاف مقررات و عرف ديپلماتيك خواند و با محكوم كردن اين اقدام گفت: آمريكا همواره چنين روندي را دنبال كردند و ديديد كه چندي پيش نيز ديپلماتهاي ما را بدون هيچ دليل و منطقي بازداشت كرده بودند.

وي اقدام جديد آمريكايي*ها در بازداشت كاركنان كنسولگري ايران را در راستاي رويكرد نادرست آمريكا در عراق دانست و افزود: آنها تلاش مي*كنند روابط خوب ايران و عراق را مخدوش كنند، اما ما اين اجازه را نمي*دهيم و فقط در چارچوب همكاريهاي فيمابين كار را دنبال خواهيم كرد.

حسيني نيروهاي آمريكايي را مسئول بازداشت كاركنان كنسولگري ايران دانست و گفت: تماس*هاي مختلفي را با مسئولان رسمي عراق برقرار كرديم و اقداماتي نيز از مجاري رسمي و ديپلماتيك در جريان است و با هماهنگي سفارت ايران در بغداد كارها را پيگيري مي*كنيم.

US forces raid Iranian consulate in Iraq: Iran

US forces stormed an Iranian consular office in the northern Iraqi Kurdish city of Arbil and arrested five people, including diplomats and staff, Iranian officials say.

The US military made no direct mention of Iranians but in answer to a query issued a statement saying six "individuals" were arrested during "routine" operations in the area.

As the overnight raid was in progress, President George W Bush was vowing in a keynote address on American television to disrupt what he called the "flow of support" from Iran and Syria for insurgent attacks on US forces in Iraq.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini condemned the raid - the second such operation in the past month as tensions between Washington and Tehran have mounted and said it was a violation of international law.

"The activity of all those people at our office in Arbil was legal and was in cooperation with and had the approval of the Iraqi side," Hosseini told Iran's state-owned Arabic language satellite channel Al-Alam.

"There is no justification for this behaviour of the Americans, particularly because Iraqi officials were not informed about this move."

In a statement, the US military said it had detained six people around Arbil on suspicion of being "closely tied to activities targeting Iraqi and coalition forces".

"This operation was part of an ongoing effort by coalition forces targeting individuals involved in activities aimed at the killing of Iraqi citizens and Coalition forces," it said, adding the suspects surrendered without incident.

US Secretary of State Dr Condoleezza Rice, while not commenting on the operation in Arbil, told Fox News, "the President made very clear last night that we know that Iran is engaged in activities that are endangering our troops, activities that are destabilising the young Iraqi government and that we're going to pursue those who may be involved in those activities".

Witnesses in Arbil, the capital of the autonomous northern region of Kurdistan bordering Iran, said Kurdish security forces sealed off the area after the Americans left.

The Kurdish regional government made no immediate comment.

The official Iranian IRNA news agency said documents and computers were seized after the 5am raid (local time) and Iranian state television said the arrested included "diplomats and staff".

US officials have repeatedly accused non-Arab, Shiite Iran of interfering in Iraq, where the long-oppressed Shiite majority is now in power.

Tehran denies US charges of supplying Shiite militias with weapons.

In December, US forces in Baghdad arrested a number of Iranians they said were suspected of planning attacks on Iraqi security forces, including diplomats who were later turned over to Iraqi authorities.

A British official told the BBC this month that the Iranians arrested in Baghdad were senior intelligence officers on a covert mission to influence the Iraqi government.

Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh, whose boss Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki travelled last year to Tehran as part of a series of high-level contacts that have sealed a warming of relations between former enemies Iraq and Iran, said Baghdad had demanded an explanation from Iran and Washington on the matter.

A number of arrests were made and computers and documents seized during Thursday's raids.

An Iranian foreign ministry official said US troops arrested five staff members.

Iran's semi-official news agency Fars quoted the unnamed official as saying: "The raiders have broken the gate of the office and arrested the consulate's guards."

There was no immediate comment from the US military on the reports.

A Kurdish TV station said Kurdish security forces took over the building after the Americans left the area.

Iran confirms U.S. kidnap of 5 Iranian consulate staff in Iraq


TEHRAN, (Xinhua) -- U.S. forces raided the Iranian consulate in Iraq's northern city of Erbil and arrested five of its staff members, the official IRNA news agency reported on Thursday.

Earlier, multi-National Forces in Arbil province detained staff of the Iranian consulate there, Iraq's state-run television reported on Thursday.

The troops also confiscated computers and some documents, the report said.

The incident came hours after U.S. President George W. Bush declared his new strategy for Iraq, in which he accused Iran of supporting attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq and vowed to "disrupt"such attacks.

"Iran is providing material support for attacks on American troops. We will disrupt the attacks on our forces," Bush said in his speech on Wednesday.

He said that he was increasing U.S. troops in Iraq by 21,500 in an attempt to change the course of the war.

در حمله صبح امروز پنجشنبه سربازان آمريكايي به سركنسولگري ايران در اربيل عراق 5 تن از كاركنان ايراني اين دفتر توسط مهاجمان بازداشت شدند.

در تهاجم نيروهاي آمريكايي به سركنسولگري ايران در اربيل عراق كه با حمايت سه فروند هليكوپتر نظامي همراه بود،وسايل موجود در اين ساختمان منهدم شده و رايانه*ها و مدارك موجود در آن به سرقت رفت.

شبكه العالم در اين باره گزارش داد نيروهاي مسعود بارزاني رهبر حزب دموكرات عراق با مسدود كردن فرودگاه اربيل مانع از بردن ديپلماتهاي ايراني توسط سربازان عراقي شدند.
