The Happy Days Live tour was Oliver's first live show in 2001 and included several dates in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Performing to sold-out venues, he cooked on stage and interacted with the audiences with competitions, music and special effects only usually seen in pop concerts. He took the audiences by surprise by singing and drumming to a song called Lamb Curry written by his longtime friend Leigh Haggerwood. Oliver appears at the BBC good food show each year and took to the road once more in 2006 on an Australian tour where he performed in Sydney and Melbourne. Following the entertaining format of his first live show, the 2006 Australian tour featuring special guests including mentor Gennaro Contaldo, and students from Fifteen London. Jamie also performed a new song written by Leigh Haggerwood called Fish Stew which Jamie cooked to and also drummed along to at the end of the show. The shows were a great success and are featured in a one-off TV documentary called Jamie Oliver: Australian Diary.

                better then jamie

Recently we had a conference for the company I am employed with( 12/06/2007)in Sydney.
I found what I believe to be the most talented and professional chef that I have ever had the privilege to employ.
The food prepared and served by the head chef john Lambert was second to none and not only satisfied all staff involved but also our very important V.I.P clients who were also in attendance.
I stumbled across this chef when I was holidaying in Mauritius where he was the head chef in a resort there, after a brief conversation with him he informed me he was returning to Australia in June and requested his attendance in the capacity of cater. I was not disappointed.

If down-and-out teenagers can handle the recipes in Jamie Oliver's latest cookbook, you probably shouldn't have any trouble with them either.

That's the philosophy that informed Oliver's just released "Cook with Jamie," a hefty and gorgeous cooking primer largely drawn from Oliver's Fifteen enterprise, a growing group of restaurants around the world that takes in young adults in need of a second chance and offers them culinary training.

The book covers techniques both basic and involved across some 160 recipes.

"Over the last five years we've concentrated on breaking down cheffy procedures into something the students ... can get stuck into," Oliver writes in the book's introduction. "Whether you've cooked before or you're cooking for the first time, I wanted to give you a smidgeon of our Fifteen cookery course."

Oliver's book combines simple instruction, such as the different cuts of chicken and what to do with each, with recipes that are easy to love, including overnight slow-roasted pork and crunchy calamari with lime juice.

                        Scarlet Division

                        Jamie Oliver: TV Chef

Like Loyd Grossman, the Naked Chef also has a rock 'n' roll past – as the drummer with a band called Scarlet Division. Oliver formed the group in 1989, when he was 13, and they performed across the UK during the 1990s.

You can see one of their video clips on YouTube, performing in what looks like an old warehouse.

Oliver's publicist, Peter Berry, said: "He has not drummed in Scarlet Division since 2002. There was one minor hit in 2001 called 'Sundial', which got to No 42.

"After that, they decided enough was enough. But it had its moments. Of course, the call may come from Loyd that he needs a drummer. We await that call."

It's a third girl for celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, who became a father again on Friday.

Oliver's wife, Jools, gave birth to Petal Blossom Rainbow at 2:46 a.m., PEOPLE has confirmed. The baby, who weighed 6 lb., 10 oz., joins sisters Poppy Honey, 7, and Daisy Boo, 5, in the Oliver household. Her anticipated arrival was first announced in September.

Oliver, who only two days ago was cooking for world leaders at 10 Downing Street, was at his wife's side at London's Portland Hospital for the birth.

A statement from a rep for Oliver, who is best known in the U.S. for his Naked Chef TV shows, said, "Both [Petal] and Jools are doing well. The Olivers would like to thank midwives Linda Ordish and Elaine Porter and also obstetrician William Dennis for their wonderful help and support."

It went on to say: "Jamie and Jools are both completely smitten with Petal already, and Jamie is looking forward to two weeks paternity leave to spend quality time with his four beautiful girls."

News of the baby's delivery first broke Friday morning in Britain's Sun.
