WESTERNIZING IRANIANS IN CULTURE AND BEHAVIOUR HOW TO STOP IT

How do you guys think we should encrourage true persian culture and behaviour to iranians in iran and outside of iran also persians around the world instead of letting them get westernized?

Like everything, one would have to understand the cause of the problem in order to find the solution. What you're talking about, which is called colonialism, is caused by strategic decisions made by people who believe their culture is superior to Iranian culture. For instance, US evangelists, and neo-cons, who have a lot of influence in media ideology, and in turn on Iranians, actually believe that US principles and culture is the only hope left in the world. The US has the duty to save the world by becoming the leader and teaching everyone the US lifestyle and thinking.

This is the very well known source of the problem. It can only be countered by similar strategic decision making by Iranians. Iranian media outside Iran has to change and allow our ideology to develop through wide discussion and through logic as opposed to being influenced by what is US propoganda (though it might look like US care and a good ideology). what about looking inward and doing what everyother diaspora community does (at least when it comes to the US) and celeberating the herritage while laying the foundation for the next generation

do Iranians or Persian culture have anything less than the koreans, japanies, chinies, arabs, religious Muslim, religious jews.
all those cultures are still after many years are very strong and vibrant

and when it comes to Iranians inside iran
even though you are corroct about the neo cons and the evangaicla , you have to note that it is not chrisitianty that is being exported to Iran and other parts of the world but american meterilism culture, and the people who are spreading that are the companies.

also the people most susceptible to absorbing this foreign culture are the same people who like materialism and especially those who dont have a rooted belife in their own thing (what ever it maybe)

in the end every human yearns pleasure and the quickest fast way of feeling good is consuming and as long as humans consum western thing with it they will consume western culture

by the way the same is true the other way

when i reach a stage of "finding my self" and i seek to pleasure my self with something other than materialistic i subscribe to eastern methods and in the process i to consume their culture

are you going to say than that the Indians from India or colonizing me

the solution is when i was growing up in america i was taunted by my fellow persian friends for being a fob and being to much persian and those very same people cant get enough of the persian culture if something is really good people will stick to in the end
like the case of me and my friend we went from beig "gangster and adopting a urban culture" to going to manosur concerts and talking in persian slang

I tink persian culture is more superior,peacful then western culture .

western culture encourages cheating on their wives,husbands it encourages prostitution,drugs,drinking.

it also encourages women to allways take their cloths off and act like hoes.

there is a difference between westernization and modernization the iranian people need to know this.

Also behaviour matters too i would rather loose my culture then my behaviour.

yea but also behaviour matters too. you can have the culture but without the behaviour the culture will eventually disappear.

for me a nationalism is the best answer :D

absolute rubbish mike. you agree that corporations are involved. there's a difference between autonomous acceptance of a culture (in your case eastern culture) and involuntary acceptance of a culture (in the case of colonialism as well as westernization).

please don't respond with rubbish if you don't understand my post, inquire instead
