Why some people are Homosexual?

Last week i had a nice discussion with some sociolog profesor from France and U.K and i ask them ,why some people are homosexual?! They told me:42% say it is "just the way that some people prefer to live," compared with 30% who think homosexuality is something people are born with and 14% who believe it develops because of the way people are brought up. The view that homosexuality is innate is more prevalent now than in 1985, when 20% believed that homosexuality is something people are born with.

What do you think about that !? we are moslems and can we have good opinion about homo/lesb ppl in our society?

In my opinion this is the way people choose to live their life because of many reasons such as past experience,.......This gives them the sense of safety, sacurity.... which is very important for anybody.

i think he means that a person born with gay "genes" ...nobody can BE gay during his life...if you are gay...you are since you were born....altough you discover late or soon... that's my opinion

It's not my fault I like women. If it was up to me, I would be assexual so I could use my energy for other things. But I guess I was born a horny, woman-loving bastard.

Same thing with gays, they are born just liking men, is it genes, or structure or chemicals or w.e. I dont know.

Also though, you must remember that most ppl are really in between. Many ppl are more towards straight but have gay affinities, at least according to studies on such subjects.

Yeah but I guess thats all the bullshit that ppl stereotype gay ppl with. Many are actually hyper-masculinized, more so than straight men, but media only portray feminine tendencies in gays.

This will give you instructions on how to know someone that is a homosexual without feeling akward about it. It will also make them feel more comfortable.


First treat them like a normal person. don't immediatly ask them about being a homosexual. (They don't always want to talk about it.)

Next ask them about some hobbies of theirs they won't mention any thing that personal so do not worry.

Don't talk about your love life with your significant other. They will ask you about it if they are interested.

The biggest thing don't worry about them interacting with you. There is always a way out of the situation.

And the thing to worry about most is not to assume that they are attracted to you that is not always true.

I believe the execution of homosexual men in Iran and Saudi Arabia is a hybrid of man-made law and Allah's law-and the distinction amongst them is incoherent because man-made law in Iran and Saudi Arabia is seemingly obtained through variants of Islamic law, i.e. different schools of jurisprudence.

In conclusion, the Middle East, like its global counterparts, has seen a plethora of homosexual activity. In this paper, I outlined the central tenets regarding transsexuality apparent throughout the Qur'an and various Hadiths, or sayings attributed to the Prophet Muhammad. Key features discussed in these scriptures are ubiquitous amongst modern Islamic nation states such as Iran and Saudi Arabia, although they vary in their underlying societal and governmental structures. The behavior of these current countries was not to be expressed and solely attributed to an ancient scripture such as the Qur'an, but rather, discussed through a relevant Islamic perspective. Before Islam existed in the Middle East, homosexual/illicit tendencies were being written about as seen through the Zoroastrianism example. Thus, literary heritage is full of passages written by homosexual advocates or those individuals who wish to condemn the practice.

The Saudi Arabian monarchy still implements the execution of those partaking in homosexual activities, but the requirements to be charged with this illicit behavior are being disputed at the moment. Likewise, the human rights abuses by the Iranian government are unrelenting-the Islamic Republic still enforces their domineering homophobic mandate. In both countries, defiant homosexual conduct is flourishing, and rightfully so. The gay communities have utilized the Internet to their advantage; reporting events and history with intentions of awareness and ideological change. In the Western and Eastern worlds alike, homosexuals face several impediments in their quest for same-sex love. Political hierarchies, as discussed throughout this text, advance their regimes against transsexuality on religious and racial grounds. Love is love, all other extraneous factors are futile.

I believe it’s mostly came from their gene first and then environment effect and situation, the genes are certainly could be the main reason! And these genes are mostly came from your family and could be expressed by environment effects.. Likewise unsocial behavior.. they do some research by looking to their family history, and it shows some people of that family doin some unsocial behavior too!!!!! so now many people wonder maybe this behavior happen unconsciously!! which is so interesting but still long way to prove it!!
and I need to add that they found the Gay Gene in human!!! So they borne gay and IT IS A NORMAL THING and also u can find very few people who just interested to their opposite-sex!!!! and if we imagine gay is 1 and 100% het-sex is 9 most people are some number between like 5 6 or 4 !!!!!!!
But me personally believe some few people who chose to be gay are messed with sex alot and some do it as a fashion.
