Kitchen robot designed in Iran
TEHRAN, Nov.5 (ISNA)-Two Iranian students of Iran's Engineering University of Shiraz succeeded in designing a kitchen robot.
"This intelligent robot has the ability to cook various types of food like curries, soups and rice without the presence of human beings," informed the Iranian student, Mohammad Ghahremani.
"This robot can cook food for 1-12 persons in two methods, manual or automatic and the cooking starting time and the time for adding various food particles are adjustable. It also has a conserver out of which it serves the food," he added.
Ghahremani who has succeeded in designing this robot with the cooperation of his colleague Fahime Saeimanesh went on to mention that while cooking with a cooker or a microwave one has got to be present in the place in order to activate the machines or to supervise the cooking in order to add some thing or the other to food at times.
"But with this machine there's no need to be present in the kitchen," he added.
With the referred machine, the cooking time, the initial cooking phase, the time for adding the main ingredients, flavors and the ending time of the cooking is adjustable and one can supervise the cooking process through the Internet or some place else.
"This machine can also activate other cooking machines in the kitchen, like the cooker and the microwave," he said.
