Salam be hamegi! I'm a 17 year-old girl from California and a peace activist. garche az amrika am va irani nistam, farhange iran va musiqi ro kheili dust daram! ham zabane farsi ro yad migiram chonkeh anqadr dustesh daram.

I chose my screenname after the song "Gole Sangam" sung by Hayedeh, which was one of my first introductions to Iranian music. I now have maybe 100 or more Iranian songs from many different singers (mainly from the 70's and early 80's, but also some more modern) which I listen to every day.

I look forward to participating here on this forum and maybe learning more about the beautiful country and people of Iran!
