Born and raised in a family of artists leila was influenced by her family members . her father , jahangir forouhar , God Bless his soul , was one of the most celebrated actors of his time and he will always be remembered for his remarkable work . only three years old , leila went on stage and started her acting career and since then she has been acting in more than fifty motion pictures , including the all time classic " Soltane Ghalbhaa" at the age of fourteen , leila's talent and interest in singing drove her to a professional level of this art . right from the stare she had the greate stsong writers, musicians , andcomposers like farid zolan , ardalaan sarfaraaz , and iraj jenati ataayee working wit her . during the revolution she started to engage in persian folk music and was taught by the master himself "master tajbakhsh".in 1986 leila left iran to france .
during the newt two years she was passive as an artisit. in 1988 she moved to the us and with the release of her first album in the us. once again her career took off.
throught her non stop devotion she has been able to produce fourteen albums and forty-five music videos .
witch are available in three volumes . her love to perform for her fans has driven her to defferent part of the world. together with her sister fariba forouhar . she once again stepped on the acting stage and performed the play " yek samad va do leila " written and directed by parviz sayyad .
due to the great response from the audience in its more than one hundred performance , leila is still performing . leila's great dedication as an artist started the day she was born and will continue in the future.

امسال آلبوم "يک بوسه" از شما به بازار اومد که بعد از سال ها يک تحول در آهنگ های شما بود. هم از بابت انتخاب شعرها، هم سبک کار شما. نظر خودتون چيه؟

من خودم خيلی راضی هستم. يعنی دقيقاً کارهايی بوده که من از صميم قلب خوندم. البته بعضی وقت ها آدم مجبوره به خاطر کسب و کار، بعضی از آهنگ ها رو بخونه و انجام بده. امشب هم ديدم مردم شعرهای من رو تکرار می کردن و اين برام خيلی جالب بود

کارهای ويدئويی شما خيلی معروفه که بعضی وقت ها عجيبه و بعضی وقت هام خيلی گرون! می خواستم بدونم کارهای ويدئويی شما الان به چه صورت پيش ميره؟

در حال حاضر آهنگ های قديم رو با يک ترتيب جديد به کمک رامين زمانی و کارگردانی آقای عليرضا اميرقاسمی دارم به صورت يک ويدئو انجام ميدم. فکر کنم ويدئوی جالبی بشه چون قراره در اون يک گروه موسيقی به صورت زنده برنامه اجرا کنن. اين کار قراره به صورت سی دی و دی وی دی به بازار ارائه بشه

قراره کی به بازار بياد؟

۲۰ آوريل قراره اين کار رو ضبط کنيم. فکر کنم طرفای ماه می ( يا همون خرداد خودمون ) اين کار به بازار بياد

البته مثل اينکه قبل از ساختن اين ويدئو سرتون خيلی شلوغه، درسته؟

بله. کنسرت های زيادی قراره اجرا کنم. قراره که در تاجيکستان هم برنامه اجرا بکنم. خودم خيلی دلم می خواست اونجا باشم چون شنيده بودم که خيلی طرفدار دارم. ولی متاسفانه هر دفعه به دلائل مختلفی نشد. اما مثل اينکه اين دفعه قراره ۵ آوريل من به تاجيکستان برم و تا ۱۲ آوريل اونجا هستم. خيلی دوست دارم از گروه نوازنده و رقصنده های تاجيک در کنسرت هام استفاده بکنم

يک خبر ديگه هم دارم که صدرالدين نجم الدين، يکی از معروف ترين خواننده های تاجيک، پيشنهاد کرده با شما يک آهنگ مشترک بخونه. نظر شما چيه؟

خيلی خوشحال ميشم. حتماً اين کار رو می کنم. من اولين خواننده زن ايرانی هستم که به تاجيکستان ميره و اين باعث افتخار منه. اميدوارم همزبانان خوبم رو در تاجيکستان از نزديک ببينم و بتونيم برنامه های خوبی رو براشون به روی صحنه ببريم

درباره آلبوم بعديتون که در آينده به بازار ميدين برامون صحبت کنين

توی اين کار ميخوام از صميم قلب با جوون ها هم صحبت بشم و براشون آواز بخونم. شعرهای قشنگ مريم حيدرزاده رو هم در اين آلبوم جديد استفاده می کنم. قراره يک سری آهنگ های قديمی رو هم دوباره اجرا کنيم که آقای رامين زمانی زحمت اين کار رو کشيدن. اميدوارم اين هم کار موفقی بشه و اون رو عيد سال بعد به بازار بدم

نخستین کنسرت لیلا فروهر در کاخ باربد شهر دوشنبه

روز شنبه، 8 آوریل، نخستین کنسرت لیلا فروهر در کاخ باربد شهر دوشنبه از استقبال بغایت گرم هواداران هنر این خواننده ایرانی مقیم لس آنجلس در تاجیکستان برخوردار شد
این نخستین سفر هنری خانم فروهر به تاجیکستان بوده و او قرار است یک کنسرت دیگر در شهر دوشنبه و دو کنسرت در شهرهای کولاب و قرغان تپه، در جنوب تاجیکستان برگزار کند

از قبل انتظار می رفت خانم فروهر در شهر خجند، دومین شهر بزرگ تاجیکستان نیز که در شمال واقع است، کنسرتی برگزار کند، ولی به گفته مسئولان، ظاهرا چنین کنسرتی در نظر گرفته نشده است
