Bella Warda is one of the founding members of Darvag theater group in Berkeley, California. She was born and raised in Abadan, a major Iranian oil town on the northern tip of the Persian Gulf. In the mid-1960s she was in the

Roya High School choir and sang "Sorood_e Abadan" on stage at Taj theater. She only remembers a couple of lines... maybe other Abadanis will remember and complete the lyrics. So here it is...

And warda is arabic and means Rose! but it is used in pakistan too! so it doesnt mean she is abadani...
