This painting is a gift from the Iranian-American organization in Cupertino, California. It will be presented by Honorable Congressman Mike Honda via Ms. Laura Casas Frier, the president of the Board of Trustees of the Foothill-De Anza Community Colleges.The poem is by the Poet Saadi of Shiraz / Iran ,1184-1291 CE.

Human Beings Are Members Of A Whole,
In Creation Of One Essence And Soul.
If One Member Is Afflicted With Pain,
Other Members Uneasy Will Remain.
If You Have No Sympathy For Human Pain,
The Name Of Human You Can Not Retain.
