Charlie Must Keep Away from Denise
Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have extended the restraining order that requires Sheen to stay away from Richards and their two daughters, the Associated Press reports.
Neither actor was present in the Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday when their lawyers agreed to extend the order, which Richards won in April, through June 28.
Sheen, 40, must stay at least 300 yards from Richards, 35, and their daughters Sam, 2, and Lola, 1, except for supervised visits with the children.
On April 21, Richards filed paperwork in Los Angeles Superior Court that claimed Sheen had threatened to kill her. In the 17-page filing, Richards also detailed Sheen's alleged abuse of prescription medication, violent mood swings, compulsive gambling and use of pornography.
In a statement issued by her rep that day, Richards said, "I am disappointed that the situation has deteriorated to the point that it has become necessary to seek the assistance of the court. However, my primary concern is and always has been the welfare of the children and this action today was taken to ensure their safety as well as mine."
In a statement of his own, Sheen called the allegations "a most obvious immature and transparent smear campaign designed to hurt, embarrass and ultimately extort me."
Richards originally filed for divorce in March 2005, when she was six months pregnant with Lola. The pair appeared to briefly reconcile after Lola's birth in June, but on Jan. 4, they requested that their divorce proceed with a private arbitrator.
Last month they agreed to a temporary child-custody arrangement, with Sheen allowed weekly supervised visits with Sam and Lola, and appeared to be trying to settle their divorce amicably.
"(We) hope to resolve this matter outside of the public forum and will both continue to make every effort in this regard," they said in a joint statement.

Loretta Lynn Breaks Shoulder
Loretta Lynn broke her shoulder in a fall at her Hurricane Mills, Tenn., home on Sunday, her rep said Wednesday.
Lynn, 71, is scheduled to have shoulder replacement surgery Thursday at a Nashville hospital and then head home to recuperate, the Associated Press reports.
The injury forced to Lynn to cancel nine summer concerts in June and July, all of which will be rescheduled, according to the singer's Web site.
Lynn emerged on the country-music scene in 1961 with her first single, "I'm a Honky Tonk Girl." She had a string of hits through the years, including "Don't Come Home A' Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind)," "Fist City" and the autobiographical single, "Coal Miner's Daughter" (also the title of her best-selling autobiography and Oscar-winning biopic starring Sissy Spacek).
Lynn recently released the album Van Lear Rose, produced by the White Stripes' Jack White.
Last year, she was forced to cancel a pair of concerts in Oklahoma and Texas due to a back injury.

Pitt: Shiloh's Birth Was 'Truly Peaceful'
Brad Pitt described the birth of Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt as "truly peaceful" in his first broadcast interview with Angelina Jolie since the couple welcomed their daughter on May 27.
In the interview, which was conducted by the Namibian Broadcasting Corp., the couple sat together and spoke about their experience in the African country where their daughter was born.
"I'd just like to thank the people of Namibia," Pitt said, according to an excerpt from AP Television News. "They've been so gracious and made our stay here very special, and because of that we've had an incredible time with our family exploring the country, and (had) a truly peaceful birth of our daughter."
Jolie, wearing a black dress, called their visit "an amazing adventure."
We just love this part of the world," she added.
On Wednesday, Pitt, 42, and Jolie, 31, told a news conference for local journalists that they have no immediate plans to wed.
"There is nothing in the air. The focus is the kids, and we are obviously extremely committed to the children and as parents together," Jolie said at a hotel in the coastal town of Swakopmund. "So that kind of says it for us, and to have a ceremony on top of it is nothing."
Jolie also said that she and Pitt had wanted to find a place where they could spend some special time with their kids, Maddox, 4, and Zahara, 1. "We both had traveled to Africa and loved this part of the world."
The couple said they'd come to Namibia specifically for the birth of their child. "People were shocked that we chose to come here, and they thought we were putting our child's life in danger," said Jolie. "But we did our homework about Namibia. We want to tell the world how magnificent this country and the people are."
Added Pitt, "We had top-notch medical care. We could not have received better medical care even in America."
Pitt also said the family planned to leave in a few days so that he could begin filming Ocean's Thirteen.

Meet Britney's New Bodyguard
Britney Spears has been spotted around Los Angeles lately with a new companion: A sandy-haired hunk who's been described as her male nanny, or "manny."
In fact, he's her new bodyguard, PEOPLE reports in its new issue. Perry Taylor is a 28-year-old U.S. Naval Academy graduate who seems to be a natural at looking after her son Sean Preston.
The onetime bar bouncer and ski instructor "was a nice, quiet guy with lots of friends," says a source who knew him back at the Academy, where he also played lacrosse. "He never seemed like the kind of guy who'd be lugging diaper bags around for Britney Spears."
Taylor certainly does do his share of heavy lifting around the Spears household: He's been photographed carrying the 9-month-old Sean Preston and pushing his stroller, as well as picking up groceries and bouquets of flowers.
But a source close to the pregnant pop star insists, "He's not her nanny." Then why is he holding the baby? "He's protecting Britney and he's protecting the child." An officer and a gentleman.
