  • What's Next for Star Jones Reynolds?

After an explosive week in which she announced to PEOPLE that she'd been fired from The View, and then publicly traded barbs with former cohost Barbara Walters, Star Jones Reynolds is ready to move on.

Starting July 10, she'll serve a weeklong stint hosting HGTV's House Hunters, helping home buyers navigate the New York City real estate market, PEOPLE reports in its new issue. But after that her calendar is clear.

Still, she's optimistic. As she told PEOPLE of her job loss, "Yeah, this is an obstacle, but inside every obstacle is an opportunity."

She's already found plenty of TV viewers. Her June 29 appearance on CNN's Larry King Live was watched by nearly 3 million people, triple the show's usual ratings. And the next day, Today's Al Roker filled a full 20 minutes talking to Reynolds about her departure from The View.

Will she be able to keep her seemingly loyal fan base? "How this pans out for her career all depends on what she does in the next 18 months," says media analyst Bob Thompson. "Even if she tries a bunch of things and none of them work, I don't think she's going to end up on The Surreal Life 9."

One thing is for certain: She's already surrounded by supporters. After her rough week, she and husband Al Reynolds spent the Fourth of July weekend at their home in the Hamptons, where on Saturday night they went dancing at Southampton's Pink Elephant club.

"She and Al were holding hands the whole time and having so much fun," says a source. "She got a very warm welcome. A lot of guests were congratulating her on how she handled everything leaving The View."

As close friend LaTanya Richardson Jackson (wife of actor Samuel L. Jackson) tells PEOPLE of Reynolds, "She's incredibly hurt, but she's also incredibly resilient. She's moving on."

            • Extreme Makeover Dentist Weds Ex-Apprentice

Extreme Makeover dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman and former Apprentice contestant Jennifer Murphy were married Friday evening, their reps confirm to PEOPLE.

The couple wed in a non-denominational ceremony at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., in front of 300 guests, including Donald Trump, Esther Williams and several of Murphy's former Apprentice costars.

Murphy wore a gown by Samin Haute Couture and diamond drop earrings from Beverly Hills jeweler XIV Karats, which also designed the couple's wedding bands.

The pair got engaged last Christmas, when Dorfman proposed to Murphy with a 3-carat, radiant-cut diamond ring surrounded by trapezoids.

Dorfman, 47, and Murphy, 27, met at the 2004 Miss USA pageant, when she was Miss Oregon and he was in the audience. But their romance didn't bloom until a year later, when Murphy was cast in an ad for teeth whitening by Dorfman's company, Discus Dental.

On ABC's Extreme Makeover, Dorfman was described as a "cosmetic dentist to the stars." He has three daughters, Anna, Charlotte and Georgia.

According to her personal Web site, Murphy co-founded and serves as president and CEO of a real-estate development company and works as a business and marketing consultant.

The newlyweds are scheduled to leave this weekend for their honeymoon in Fiji.

                        • Nick Lachey to Hit the Road

Nick Lachey, seen over the past week cuddling inside New York's hot spots with new squeeze Vanessa Minnillo, is now ready to get back to work.

With his nine-week-old solo album, What's Left of Me debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard Album Chart and now having sold more than 500,000 units, his Jive Records label on Monday announced Lachey's first-ever solo concert schedule.

With Lachey's "What's Left of Me" tour scheduled to take place in North America this September and October, "fans around the country will be able to see him perform live for the first time. These shows will be performed in a series of smaller theatres, allowing intimate concerts with fans," Jive said in a statement.

The 26 cities on the tour include Washington, D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Orlando, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Toronto, Philadelphia and New York. The tour kicks off on Sept. 20, in Albany, N.Y.

Lachey's first single from his album, the title track "What's Left Of Me," peaked at No. 5 on the singles charts, where it has remained in the Top 20 since its debut. A second single, "I Can't Hate You Anymore," will hit the airwaves July 24.

With his divorce from Jessica Simpson, after three years of marriage, now official for a second week, Lachey spent the early morning hours of July 4 at Manhattan's Butter kissing, cuddling-and getting lap dances from Minnillo.

They also spent an afternoon at sports bar Third and Long, where they competed in a friendly game of foosball and checked out the France vs. Portugal World Cup game.

"They were really laid back, just having a good time," bartender Gene Loughlin told PEOPLE. "They were having fun."

                          • New Mom Angelina Jolie Back to Work

Angelina Jolie is about to take her first acting job since the birth of her and Brad Pitt's daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, on May 27.

The Oscar winner will lend her voice to the DreamWorks animated feature Kung Fu Panda, in which her character, Tigress, will teach martial arts to Po the Panda, who will sound remarkably like Jack Black (because that's who's supplying Po's voice).

The movie is due for release next May. According to Variety, Po works as a waiter in a noodle shop but needs to build up his strength. Enter Tigress.

Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Ian McShane and Lucy Liu are also in the cast.

This marks a reunion of sorts for Jolie and Black. Two years ago they could be heard in Shark Tale.

In December, Jolie will be both seen and heard in The Good Shepherd, a CIA drama directed by Robert De Niro and costarring De Niro and Matt Damon. It will be Jolie's first movie since Mr. & Mrs. Smith, on which she met Pitt.
